D O N O R

'Why would she jump in front of the running car like she does not even care for her life' What was she even thinking?'
His legal tangles tried to figure out what was wrong with her in actual senses.

Though Sebastian was relieved enough for the fact that she was not injured because of his friend. At least the situation not in the worse case.

Still... there was something that Sebastian was curious about her.

He kept looking at the woman's pale face for a heavy minute and noticed her dried tears on her cheeks, he assumed her to be crying before passing out.

Maybe she was not in her senses when all that happened to her? Maybe...

Sebastian chose to wait for the woman to wake up first in order to ask forgiveness from his friend's behalf as a formality, he was no more in tension after hearing that no damage was made to the lady.

Jordan was not at fault, hence there was nothing to be worried about either.

The unknown woman was still lying on the bed unconsciously when another guest added inside the ward earning Sebastian's eyes.

He flinched out of his thoughts immediately.

A very familiar doctor approached his way as Sebastian tilted his head in confusion while frowning deeply.

It was the doctor who was operating Jordan's mother. What was he doing here?

"Mr.Jones!"
The doctor called with a hint of suspense in his tone...

This caused Sebastian to believe something was seriously up in order for the doctor to approach him.

The doctor seemed to be little impatient and restless too adding more points of doubt in Sebastian's believe.

Sebastian nodded to the doctor's call immediately, with still his deep frown being decorated over his features... he questioned the doctor in return.
"What are you doing here doc?
"

The doctor just sighed looking at Sebastian.

After a harsh couple of seconds of suspense the doctor finally broke the silence...
"We would want to run some tests on the patient, Mr.
Lawrence brought here..."
He said making Sebastian more confused about him.

Tests? On that unknown woman?

Didn't the nurse say that everything was just fine with the woman? Then why these sudden tests are required?

Obviously the woman had no injuries over her body as the nurse stated earlier then why all of a sudden? Before Sebastian could have opened his mouth and raise any question against the words, the doctor decided to speak again.

This time shocking him.

"I heard the patient is AB negative blood type, she could be a possible donor for Mr.Lawrence's mother!"
Hearing his words finally making sense, Sebastian's frown released immediately as he eyed the unknown woman laying on the bed unconsciously with his wide opened eyes, unbelievably.

Realisation hit him hard as he understood what the doctor meant by 'tests'.

Jordan's mother was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.

She is in severe and urgent need of bone marrow transplant but seemingly no match was yet found for her.

There were rarely any donors of her blood type too as she had the rare blood type.

Even after months of searches still no progress was made in her health, Jordan was so stressed lately for this as no donors' bone marrow samples matched her.

Having the same blood type as his mother makes the woman a possible donor as well. She was the rare blood type like Jordan's mother is.

That is a huge coincidence.

The Lawrence's hospital owns no rights to run such tests on the patients who are not needed for any. To interfere in patients' personal life for their own benefit was one illegal case.

But since past few months they did broke many protocols inside the hospital premises, they did run secret tests on the rare blood group patients but yet again... they still found no match!

Sebastian gulped eyeing her unconscious figure still laying on the bed. She could save Jordan's mother if her sample matches with his mother...

That is all Sebastian could think off at this moment.
"Go ahead.
"
Said Sebastian still staring at the unconscious unknown woman while the doctor nodded to the mutual agreement.

This is wrong.

So wrong.

Sebastian's chest rose up and down as he let a deep and long sigh out while exiting the ward and letting the doctor do his work.

Approaching the seat where he was seated earlier, Sebastian rubbed his face tiredly as his dark eyes then stared ahead nowhere blankly.

He was in deep dilemma. His mind and his morals were fighting with each other.

And that is how almost an hour passed.

It was now night.

The unknown woman was still with the doctors... performing the donor's test.

But the worst part about it everything was, she was not even aware about anything, she was undergoing the testing process in her unconsciousness.

Which is illegal as without the permission of the donor, none can perform any tests over their body.

But judging the situation, it was indeed for a important cause.

'She was not even a donor but just testing would not matter much right?'
Question like this bothered Sebastian the entire time but yet at the end always his priority to save the life of his best friend's mother won every debate.

He knew what he was doing was not right, it was illegal and against his morals. He has absolutely no right to do such thing to anybody and being an attorney himself, it was very difficult for him.

The woman's got obviously nothing to do with anything.

She was innocent!

He never thought this incident will take such a sudden turn but she seemingly was like a little hope for him. It's been months and still no donor's matched bone marrow was found yet, so at this point every little detail mattered to them.

Hearing that she could be a possible donor, was one huge thing for Sebastian!

He tapped his foot on the floor of the hospital in tension while sitting outside the ward's bench as he now waited for the results to be out soon to calm his guilty mind.

He was not sure to call Jordan just yet, so he did not bother to inform him and give him any foul hopes at all.

It was a very big matter to him as well so Sebastian wanted to be sure enough himself first.

Seemingly, the doctor did assured him that the test would not take much time, it is a small process and no damage will happen to the woman...

The claim did assured him enough and he just hoped for the positive outcome.

He was not ready to get disappointed yet again.
Soon the door opened ripping his anxious wild thoughts and his head snapped towards the direction of the ward almost immediately, his eyes settled on the doctor and saw him approaching his way.

Sebastian's scrunched brows showed only seriousness as the doctor eyed him with utter suspense, he was curious to know the results but soon his ill feelings vanished away with a released frown when he heard him speaking.

"It's a match, Mr.Jones!"
The doctor said in a relieving tone.
His eyes were happily calm...

Obviously, they finally found the match after so much of struggle.

Sebastian's orbs widened a bit in surprise after hearing the doctor but soon he let a heavy breath out pass his lips which he did not know was holding for past some seconds.

His lip line curved upwards as he then searched for his cellphone in his pocket immediately.

Immediately he dailed the number of his friend to share the delightful news with him, he chimed happily as soon as the call was picked up.

"Jordan, We found the donor."

NIGHT
MEANWHILE

Hattiea's body felt like having absolutely no energy left, her head felt heavy and weak as flinched with the cold atmosphere. Opening her big lashes only brightness came was welcomed her view.

Her vision was blurry and moist at first making her close her eyes immediately to get adjusted with the sight.

She blinked few times to have a clear view of my surroundings before inhaling sharply. Hattiea then looked around in confusion finding herself in an unknown room.

Ward was it?

It took her quite of a while to figure out that she was on a hospital's bed with IVs being connected to her wrist.

In utter confusion she frowned, at first she was not  able to recall anything until a heart wrenching flashback hit her head.

She remember running home after having a fight with her fiancé.

Her heart saddened to no limits recalling the whole incident with him, he betrayed their love. Jayson played with her trust by cheating on her with another woman.

She rubbed her eyes from the back of her hand to erase the blooming tears, before licking her dry lips as she soon felt a pinching pain down her chest region.

She hissed loudly as she touched the part of pained area with unease. What happened to her?

She remember nothing...

Seemingly she passed out on her way while returning home... but how was she here? She knew nothing about the rest!

Hattiea looked down at herself briefly. She had drips connected on her body, was it really necessary? What exactly happened after she blacked out? Who brought her here? And most of all... why was she feeling pain down her chest region?

These questions were bothering her a lot.

She had nothing with her, She don't remember taking any sort of stuff with her before leaving the office.

She even left her cellphone on her cabin.

Slowly Hattiea managed to sit up weakly on the bed and strengthen her back.

She momentarily detached the drips off from her wrist while hissing loudly in pain from the pinching painful sensation of the sharp needles piercing her skin.

She rubbed her wrist slowly to ease the pain as the next second, a creek of the door startled her. Her head snapped towards the direction of the voice.

A nurse in her late 20s maybe welcomed herself inside the ward, she appeared startling Hattiea immediately.
"Miss, you're up?
"

The nurse approached me being amused, her eyes widened seeing Hattiea up in utter shock.

With a steady breath Hattiea managed to nod her head slowly to her question.

She then saw the nurse wearing a dissatisfying look soon over her features as soon as she saw her detached wrist.

"Are you feeling any better, Miss?"
