MEANWHILE

HATTIEA'S HOUSE

Hattiea finally managed to return back home with her weak head somehow, walking all the way.

After ringing the doorbell once, immediately her worried mother showed up in quick seconds at the doorway almost as if she was expecting only her.

Hattiea's chocolate eyes caught her mute mother's concerned expressions.

Her mute mother did an immediate quick hand moment for her to ask her about her sudden disappearance but being already very weak enough to even respond to her, Hattiea only shook her head before entering inside her house.

Letting her mother follow her from behind.

Judging by the looks of the distressed mother, it was not difficult for Hattiea to get the clue that Jayson must have come around here, looking for her in her absence...
maybe that is why her mother was so worried about her.

The mute mother witnessed her daughter's tiresome figure dragging her steps inside the house also her unwillingness to answer her any question at the moment.

Hence letting her be comfortable first, mother decided to cooperate with her workaholic daughter.

Maybe she needed some time for her own.

Hattiea walked inside slowly, her blank eyes and messy appearance made her mother more worried thinking about what wrong would have happened to her all day.

She never behaved so out of energy before, It was like her face lost every single colour today.

Recalling what the mother was told by her daughter's fiancé earlier, she frowned seriously.

Jayson said they both had an argument about something...
what was that serious to the extend where Hattiea had to behave so dull?

What wrong would have happened for Hattiea to behave that way?
The mute mother have always trusted Jayson with her daughter since the day they both decided to be together.

He was a man of his words, a responsible partner who always respected his daughter's wishes!

Then what happened now?

The mute mother decided to give up asking questions to her daughter instead providing her some personal space that she needed the most at the moment.

The worried mother then decided to text Jayson to let him know about Hattiea's arrival, who might be still be dead worried for her.

But what the mute mother did not know was that, it was the same man who was the cause of everything wrong with her daughter...

On the other hand where, Jayson was all messed up thinking about Hattiea.
He did not leave his home too, instead he returned back to his office to muster up his guts and get his thoughts together.

He managed to dismiss everyone early at the work and sat alone in Hattiea's cabin for couple of hours now in hope that she will return back there at least.

He saw her stuffs still being there at her cabin, even her cellphone and wallet.
She did not take anything with her then where could she go without any information?

That made him more worried about her every passing second...

Jayson still blamed everything on his selfishness.

He kept on staring at one particular photograph of him with Hattiea, which was placed on her desk.
They looked so happy together.

They were always happy...

Then what caused him to cheat on her with another woman that easily?
Jayson's heart started stinging when he kept eyeing the picture of Hattiea smiling widely in his arms.

He felt like being the worst person alive at the moment for cheating on someone like her.

She did not deserve it.

For all the love and loyalty she provided him in their relationship, he should not have been a jerk to her.

He ruined their healthy relationship just because of he was not able to hold his pants for too long...

At this point, Jayson just wanted to talk to Hattiea again and explain himself, even though an explanation for this kind of thing would not change the fact that he broke her trust but still he was not ready to let her go.

Without her his life will be completely upside down.

And obviously, his business too...

Soon Jayson's phone beeped diverting his attention.
He saw a text from Hattiea's mother for which he had been waiting very desperately, the text was the exact piece of information he was expecting since the start.

Hattiea was finally at home as Jayson's eyes lit up in hope again.
He immediately got up from his previous position and rubbed his eyes from the back of his hand messily, erasing his flow of tears.

His messy hair and attire screamed heavy regret.
Before leaving Jayson made sure to first collect Hattiea's belongings which she left at her cabin, including her cellphone and wallet which was her important necessities.

Jayson exited the agency's building quickly driving back to Hattiea's house again as sooner he reached there, he knocked on the same door again with the same desperation as before.

He wanted to meet her at any cost to make sure that she was fine.

The mute mother opened the door for Jayson again this time before letting him inside the house.

His awaited eyes roamed round the house briefly before again matching his orbs with the mute mother.

"Where is she, mama?

Jayson questioned being out of breath.

The elder woman only pointed towards one of the rooms.
Jayson gulped a harsh lump down his throat while acknowledging Hattiea was in her room.

This was the real time for confrontation, an honest confrontation.
A brutal one!

He got so much to tell her but at the same time he had nothing to justify his actions to her too.

He did cheated, made another woman pregnant and was tricking her to marry him sooner, which could have been possible too if she had not come across the truth about all of this, today.

Jayson was guilty and facing Hattiea this way seemed to be one heavy matter.

Jayson tightened his fists before trying to approach the door of Hattiea's room but sooner he felt a light tug on his arm stopping his actions.

He looked over to her mute mother on the side, who stopped him to do so.
He found her shaking her head repeatedly.

Denying him see her daughter at this time for confrontation as the mother knew something was definitely not right about Hattiea since she was back.

Jayson too acknowledged the matter...

Maybe this was not the right time too.
He should give her some space.

Yes he should.

Jayson's eyes saddened again at the look he received from his fiancé's mother.
The mute elder lady did not know what happened to her daughter but she knew Jayson was involved in it.

And that very fact made the mother believe that the least person her daughter would want to meet at this moment was him...

Hattiea's mother knew very well that her daughter was not in any position to talk right now and seemingly Jayson also understood that he was being too selfish now, she deserves sometime for herself too.

She has gone through a lot in this one day.

Jayson nodded eventually.

"Is she okay?

His voice came out to be slow and raspy yet curious. His words were indicating Hattiea.

The mute lady only shook her head at the words while Jayson sighed one short sigh of disappointment.

How could she be okay after she got to know her fiancé was cheating on her with another woman?

Jayson's guilty eyes stared down at her belongings that he was still holding in his hands.

"She left her stuff at work.

Jayson said making the older lady's eyes soften a bit. He handled her the belongings silently.

Her mute mother still did not know the whole matter between the couple but she could clearly see how effected Jayson was.
He was regretting and that was not a good sign.

"Tell her to take her time, mama!

Jayson broke the silence again trying not to break down in front of the mother again.

"I will handle the work, just tell her to take her time.

He whispered in sorrow looking towards Hattiea's room for the last time again, whose lights just went off right at the moment indicating she was about to sleep.

The mute mother just managed to nod her head at Jayson's words in assurance.

While he soon exited out of the house with his heavy and guilty footsteps.

MEANWHILE

BACK AT THE LAWRENCE'S HOSPITAL

Desperation, destruction, anger and sadness...

He was such a manifestation. Such a fucking dangerous mess!

Never in his entire life, Sebastian saw Jordan this pathetic and helpless.

Never.

Coming so close to something you have been waiting so desperately for and getting it snatched away in a mere second...
was the feeling which is beyond worst to experience.

Sebastian could not even imagine being at Jordan's place but he did felt his friend's pain in some sort of way.

His mother was like Sebastian's own.

And here the matter involved her.

Jordan was at the control room of the hospital at the moment.
He kicked away every single object in the space in anger, his hand was bleeding because of the broken vase's sharp slice which seemed like it needed few stitches or some definitely to clot the flow of blood.

His red liquid dripped on the floor mindlessly but Jordan did not seem care about it at all.

Jordan dismissed the hospital staffs immediately before they could become his anger's prey.
He was all messed up at the moment.

And seemingly no one can handle him that way, not even Sebastian who stood behind him without any words.

Jordan's dark pair of ocean eyes were inhuman as if he does not even feel any pain from the recent cut at all.

He kept staring at the footage of the woman escaping the hospital.

"It's her?
