"Do you think your 'mistake' is that small to be able to get rid of so easily? How heartless you could be to drag your fault to the extend to end an innocent life?"
Hattiea ran out of her patience as she started speaking angrily.

While her sudden outburst surprised Jayson.

She was now raging as she was not able to believe that the man standing in front of her was the same man who used to think about others first before him.

Hattiea fell in love with that guy who always worried about the people he loved...

But this man standing right in front of Hattiea was a whole different person.

He was not Jayson!

Jayson used to be such a kind hearted person before then what happened now?

How could he be so selfish?

It was his own child, his own flesh whom he was going to end like it does not even matter to him a bit?

Getting no response in return, Hattiea stepped ahead maintaining the fury in her eyes.
"And what about Tiara? Does she want it to happen? Are you going to force your fu*king decision on her womb carrying your fu*king child?"
Spilling her words like fire again, Hattiea shouted at his face this time.

Meanwhile Jayson who had his mouth sealed till now looked at her with heavy offence after hearing her words.

He was also frustrated.

Way too frustrated to get into a fight with her.

"Then be it, just come back to me and I will get rid of everything troubling us."
Jayson threw back a condition toning quite desperate, meanwhile letting out a scoff of mock again Hattiea watched him in wild disbelief.

He had the audacity to give her conditions now? Just like how he gives conditions to his clients at work?

Does he thinks there is some business deal going on between them?

"You are impossible, Jayson!"
Hattiea uttered after which, a sense of irritation between the both rose as none dared to step back from their respective positions.

In case of Jayson his ego mattered to him the most and getting the same challenged by Hattiea was hard to tolerate for him.

Maybe it was because, Hattiea never went against his words and he was always used to her obedience in their relationship but today she was acting different.

Maybe the betrayal he gifted her made so bold and sharp.

Maybe...

Defeated by the situation, a frustrated long sigh left pass Jayson's mouth as he shook his head in defence.

He knew well, Hattiea was not going to budge if she was really serious about her denial.

And he obviously would not afford her 'no' at the moment because he needed her to accompany him tonight, hence in order to please her well with his words...

Jayson calmed his senses down to think straight for a better explanation of her answer.

"Fine then. I will help Tiara out to give birth after she announces her retirement in public. I will let her have the baby and child support her, fair enough now?"
Jayson found a solution of this mess, while trying to sound as calm as possible facing Hattiea.

He wanted her to believe him like she always did and for that he was willing to please her in all ways.

But was it going to work with her?

No fu*king one can fool Hattiea, she was best at acknowledging people.

And that the moment she knew well that Jayson can not be trusted!

On the opposite something about Hattiea changed, though her eyes were still sharp and threatening like before but there was some sort of danger reflected through her intense orbs as she never looked away from Jayson.

She understood what he hinted with Tiara's retirement, obviously now that her popularity dropped down because of the news of her pregnancy getting leaked in public...

She was of no use to the agency anymore.

Like that Jayson also has no reason to keep her after acknowledging that she can do no good to his business... also his relationship with Hattiea.

Hence demanding her to retire was the only way left with him to save his agency and it's name.

Because...

What no one knew was the real identity of the man who made Tiara pregnant.

None knew that it was Jayson who had an affair with her and was her baby's father.

Except the employees of his agency who would never dare to go against their company's policy and open their mouths against Jayson...

If only a single news of Tiara's being pregnant got leaked and destroyed her entire career in a single night then Jayson can never in his wildest dreams can imagine what would happen if the public found out he was the father of her baby.

Never.

He can never take any risk like that! 

Hence to not ruin his own image the first thing he needed to do was to get rid of Tiara.

Her retirement was necessary to end the chaos in the public for now and once this situation settles down in another week or so, then Jayson could take her baby's responsibility secretly.

He stated that he would child support Tiara which meant the only commitment he would share with her would be his child's life...

Nothing much else.

How cruel.

Seriously how cruel he could be to even say that.

Only to save himself, he was ready to get rid of Tiara with whom he was going to have his baby with...

Also it was the same baby whom he was talking about to get aborted a minute ago, and now that he was finally ready to child support it...

He had to think about his own image first.

Hattiea could not believe that he was the same Jayson whom she had known all these years, he was never the one who harmed others lives for his own selfish greeds...

This man right in front of her was someone else.

Hattiea shook her head.
"Then what about me?"
The next moment she threw a question at him for which Jayson was obviously not ready for.

He looked at her being confused
"What?"
He questioned back still carrying a doubtful aura.

"Didn't you say, you are going to marry me? Then how can you have a family outside while having me married to you? What kind of woman do you think of me to be with you knowing all that crap you created?"
Hattiea uttered this time shocking the guts of Jayson who looked at her being dumbfounded for a minute or two.

She caught him off guard to be honest.

This was not something he expected for good.

He wanted to persuade her to come with him tonight in the event and for only the same, he was being tolerant enough with her but all of his efforts seemed to fail now...

Yes, he had always committed to marry her and he was always very serious about her.

The only woman with whom he ever saw his future with was Hattiea.

Jayson knew he can never afford to lose her cause not only him but his business was dependent on her.

He needed her at all costs and only to get back with her, he turned out to be so desperate...

But the only thing he failed to think about in the entire process was the consequences of his actions biting him afterwards.

Though Jayson needed Hattiea but does she want the vice versa?

Obviously Hattiea was never the kind of woman who would tolerate any sort of treachery against her without any word.

She was one woman of her own thoughts, who would rather die than selling her pride off and here the question was about her self respect which was being challenged by Jayson.

He said he would marry her and still have a child outside their marriage?

What kind of woman would accept this?

At least Hattiea could never accept!

Well in either way round, Hattiea would never accept to be in Jayson's life.

Not with or without his child being born.

Because the fact that he cheated on her would never change!

Jayson's eyes turned red another minute as he shivered with immense anger.
"Then you say, what else do you want Hattiea to be satisfied? I will do anything!"
He uttered.

At this point he was losing his sanity to the situation.

Hattiea's attitude was difficult to handle and all he wanted was her tonight at the charity event.

He was restless because of her continuous denials and was willing to do anything that she says at the moment.

But oh, he wished so...

Hattiea nodded at his words accepting his offer to demand anything from him as she paced a gutful step ahead, in front of Jayson who waited for her to say what she really wanted.

But when spoke, he got wild goosebumps across all over his body. Feeling strict chills down his spine, he is eyes widened.

"I want to call off our engagement!"
Hattiea uttered as if she was not a bit affected with anything she said.

The betrayal that he gifted her was not so easy to forget and forgive. Also she was never the woman to bear such a huge disloyalty against her.

She still mattered her pride and self respect above anything else.

Which was why she decided to walk off than holding into their relationship which gave her nothing good but only perfidy at the end.

Jayson was still in his fierce shock when he shook his head in insane denial...
"Hattiea that is impossible, you cannot leave me!"
He uttered as his heart started thumping harder than ever.

Only the thought of her leaving was painful for him to imagine.

Without him he was nothing. But yet again, it was all his fault...

All his fault whatever he was deserving at this minute.

Hattiea still eyed the desperate man in front of her without any emotions in her eyes as she uttered next.
"I can and I will leave you..."
