Falling Over her Charms

prologue

'Damn it! Why am I getting chased now out of all times! ' Luna thought as mysterious men chased her. She was getting a bit tired out but she would do anything to be alive. She hid in a box and waited for the men to pass through. 'Hah! I got rid of them.' Luna said to herself as she saw something almost making her feel her heart stop.

"L-Lucas?" Luna stuttered.

"Yes, love. Now, come back home, I miss you." Lucas said as all the memories rushed though. All the things she saw that he did behind her back.

If she didn't know the truth, she'd run back to him. But what about right now? It's not the same anymore. Everything is different. It's as if he's a completely different person, one she's never met.

And while Luna made every effort to resist giving in, she is the one who should know better, right? She must have been completely oblivious to the fact that the person she loves is steadily destroying everything around Luna.

"No! Leave me alone Lucas! You used me for what? My parents fucking plans so you can kill me with them." She said as she ran the fastest she could.

It can't possibly be too late to realize that he is slowly ruining her life.

Though is it?

She believed the abuse to be common and normal in all relationships until her dad explained it to her. She didn't realize that what was happening wasn't typical until now. What would happen if she started keeping everything to herself given that she started going through situations that no regular person would? What if the girl she despises is the one who alters her perception of love? There are a lot of what-ifs, however the answers are limited.

'Dear Lucas, was I never enough for you?' A question, one that frequently occupies her mind. It's taunting her, she hates it.

But after all is said and done, people discover that their genuine purpose in life came from those times of unbridled passion. They were challenged, beyond belief tested, and pushed to every limit possible, gone through a lot of ups and downs in life while yet being able to keep trying. The skill of remaining patient as one is ready to give up is quite uncommon because many people tend to give up on slow-burning purposes.

However, because human lives are risky and unpredictable, everyone must take precautions in all that they say and do. But is that true in this case? What if the people who get their hands dirty for their parents' pride are assassins? When two women discover they have similar goals, they have no idea. Should they work together or turn on one another?

"I have so many individuals in my life that I want to thank, but father taught me to be strong and never express gratitude to anyone, even when they are right. Will it be too late before I have a chance to express my gratitude? Tell them that I value everything about them, including our meeting."
