"It's been a year since I met you, right, Sunshine?"

Hebiana chuckled at I tightly held her hand. We were walking in the park, admiring the sunset.

"Yeah, I mean. In this place, same time and same date."

I shook my head lightly, smiling from ear to ear as we sat on the bench.

"I haven't seen Indigo for the past months," I said.

"I had seen Indigo a lot of times here in the park. He would run around but not as fast as how he ran when we met him," she said as she rested her head on my shoulder.

I planted a soft kiss on her hair and played with the ends. She really kept me calm among those days when I wanted to disappear.

"Cody! Hebiana!"

We both looked behind us and saw Indigo running with ice cream on his hand.

Hebiana's eyes shone like stars that blanketed the sky.

"Indigo!" Hebiana smiled and knelt with one knee to hug Indigo.

He ran into Hebiana's arms and laughed, "I miss you!"

"You're a big boy already," Hebiana exclaimed while ruffling Indigo's

"Yes, I am!" he pulled away from Hebiana and made a straight line with his hand from the top of his head up to Hebiana's waist as he was showing Hebiana how tall he became from the last meeting.

"Wow! You have grown so much!" I exclaimed and knelt with one knee.

"Cody!" he ran to me and hugged me tightly. I patted his back and chuckled, "You must have a sharp memory to remember me that precisely."

He pulled away and placed his forefinger on his right temple, "My mom said that I am smart because I eat fruits and vegetables and I drink milk every night!"

I chuckled and ruffled his hair, "You must have been so smart!"

"I know!" he chuckled.

I looked at the ice cream that was on his hand, "Your ice cream is melting. Eat it before it melts completely."

He nodded and walked towards the bench where Hebiana and I last seated. He took a scoop and began eating his ice cream.

I looked back at Hebiana who was already standing up, "You good?"

She smiled and nodded, "Yeah. He has grown so much."

We walked towards Indigo and listened to his stories. He told us how he would want to see us but then his mother was too busy and that he could only let him play in the park for a short period.

Hebiana and I happily introduced ourselves as a couple to Indigo who was very fond of us. He even made several ship names that made the three of us laugh.

Someone called Indigo. It was his mother.

"Indigo, your mother is here. You must go home now," I said and pointed at his mother.

He looked back and then towards us, "Bye, bye!"

Hebiana waved her hand as I smiled at Indigo, not knowing when and where will I see him again.

I looked at Hebiana as the sun continued to disappear in the broad sky. The red-orange streaks were left as the blackish-gray colored-clouds began covering the sun's mighty rays.

"Cody," Hebiana called me.

"Hmm, Sunshine?"

She looked at me as if she was communicating with my eyes.

"I love you," I whispered breathlessly as my hands traveled towards her waist. I pulled her we shared a sweet and passionate kiss.

She placed her arms around my neck as I deepened the kiss.

I was so lost in the maze of love. All I wanted at that moment is her and no one else. The darkening of the sky was a good thing for us as the moon slowly ascends from its slumber. The white clouds turned to gray, covering the brightness of the sun, but who cares?

I have my sunshine with me. I have Hebiana with me.

As we separated to catch our breaths, Hebiana flustered. She placed her tomato face on my chest. Her hug brought comfort and it felt like I was home.

"I love you, my Sunshine," I said.

She chuckled, "I love you too."

She pulled herself gently away from me as I held her right hand. We began heading towards her house.

-

A week had passed without Hebiana. She said she had to go and visit her hometown to arrange an old argument. I asked her if I could come with her but she declined, saying she would be back soon.

I was missing her like hell. The more days passed, the emptier I felt each day.

I missed her smile, her laughter, her jokes, and hear stories about how she really loved caramel macchiato frappe.

A ding on my phone literally made me jump off the counter to take a short cut from the kitchen to the living room where my phone was.

From: Hebiana

I just got home. Do you want to eat dinner with me?

I immediately ran to Monie's room. I knocked on his door three times.

"Yes?" he asked from the inside the room. "You may enter."

I twisted the doorknob and peaked, "May I stay in Hebiana's house tonight? I need to see her."

Monie chuckled as he took his glance from me then back at the stack of papers he was checking, "Okay. Please take care and say hi to Hebiana from me!"

"Thank you. I will!"

I immediately grabbed my leather jacket and my motorcycle keys.

The moment my hand locked the door of her bedroom, I knew things would go unhandy.

I stopped controlling myself. I would not want to be my hindrance to my self. She seemed to be enticing me since dinner time and I was hooked. I am still a man, and I can't resist Hebiana especially when she pouts and when she gives those puppy eyes.

The kiss was heated and to say that it was full of love was far more than that. It was a combination of longing, passion, desire, lust, and love all in one action. I placed my right hand on her nape to deepen the kiss.

I slowly laid her on the bed, taking a look at her eyes before fully giving in to the temptation world she lured me in.

"You may," she spoke softly as she smiled.

I smiled back at her and drowned myself on the ocean of desire that we both dived into.

The night was filled with our love, but I never knew that it was all fake love.
