The night was dark, it was too silent. She was sitting on the swing, enjoying her coffee. The faint storm of blissful wind was soothing her. Her feet were tucked underneath her, a gust of wind blew past her making goosebumps rise on her skin. She sighed and lowered her eyes, even without turning around she knew he was standing behind her.

His stare was burning a hole in her back, she sat up straight but didn't turn around to look at him, his eyes did things to her that she couldn't explain. Those ebony eyes weaved a spell on her whenever she gazed at them.

The silence was peaceful, she was gazing at the stars while he was gazing at his moon.

"You used to hate me, what changed now? "

He smiled and placed his hands on the fence, looking at the sky above him

"Times changed, so did people"

"I haven't changed i am the same old Raima. "

"I am not the same, Raima i have changed, for good "

She didn't speak after that, both were lost in their thoughts, after a while she stood up from the swing to go inside.

"Why did you went to meet him? "

She stopped with his words. His voice was calm but she could easily sense the underlying threat in his tone.

"To give him an answer"

Haris called her last night, he wanted to talk to her so he invited her for lunch. She wouldn't have gone but she needed to give him an answer on his face. Last night after talking to her sister she finally had some clarity. She knew what she wanted.

"What about my proposal, you need to give me an answer? "

He turned around and looked at her back, which was covered with her butterscotch tresses. Oh how he wanted to smell her and nuzzle his face in her tresses, he wanted her close to him.

"You will get your answer soon"

She replied putting a halt on his thoughts, he sighed and left the balcony after her.

When he went down for breakfast, he cursed a few times because he was late, last night he slept very late and the reason of his sleepless nights was peacefuly living her life. He stopped at the end of the stairs taking in the unusual bustle in house. A few people were decorating the lounge with different kinds of flowers, maids were running here and there.

He stood there staring at them confusingly when a he heard a chirpy voice from dinning room, his steps took him there. Irsa was sitting on the dining table eating chocolate cake, upon seeing him she leapt from her chair and hugged him.

"I missed you bhai"

"What a pleasant surprise Irsa"

She smiled at him, he acknowledged her absence in the room only his mother and bhabi were present who were busy in a conversation. He frowned and took a seat beside Irsa, she offered him her chocolate cake but he declined, he couldn't eat sweet things early in the morning.

Irsa started telling them about her vacation in Italy with her husband. He was listening to her but time to time his gaze shifted to his mother and bhabi who were talking in hushed voices, a maid came with big basket of sweets, Falak stood abruptly and walked outside with her. He frowned and looked at his mother who clearly avoided his eyes.

"What's going on?"

"Ghar mai shadi hai aur apko pata hi nahi bhai"
( There is a wedding in the house and you don't even know brother)

He looked at Irsa and then at his mother.

"Kiski shadi? "
(Whose wedding?
)

"Raima ki shadi"

She put her hands under the faucet ans splashed the water on her face, her vision clearing. She looked in the mirror and saw the water dripping from her face. She heard a noise from her room, she wiped her face and bit lip in nervousness. She knew who was in her room. She closed her eyes and then reached towards the door and opened it.

He was pacing around in her room. He didn't know what kind of sick joke life was playing on him. He was flaming in anger. She chose that prick over him, he couldn't grasp that.

When she came in the room, his blazing eyes turned towards her. He walked towards her slowly and grabbed her arm, she placed her hands on his chest trying to put some distance between them.

"So this was your answer huh?"

He tightened his grip on her, she whimpered a little. His eyes were like a predator. The hair on her neck stood.

"Tum mera junon ho Raima, mai tumhein nahi chor sakta "

She tried to pull herself but he moved towards the door and pulled her with him.

"Ehan leave me"

She shrieked grabbing the attention of the workers in the lounge, Falak ran from kitchen hearing her shrieks, she gasped when she saw him dragging her behind him.

He pulled her roughly after him, her dupatta fell on the stairs but he didn't care, he just wanted to take her away from everyone. By the time he got down everyone was gathered in the lounge, Unais told the workers to leave. Now only his family was present in the house.

When Ehan moved towards the door his brother stopped him, Raima freed her hand and ran to her sister.

"Are you out of your mind Ehan? "

His brother yelled at him pushing him backwards.

"Maine apsay kaha tha iski shadi sirf mujhse ho gi, lekin apnay meri nahi suni"

"Get out of here"

His father yelled at him, he looked at his father for a minute and then nodded his head.

"Mai jahan bhi jao ga isaay sath le kar jaon ga"

He moved towards her but his brother grabbed his arm stopping him. His father walked towards him and slapped him twice on his face. A few gasps rounded in the room.

"Get out of my sight before i do something that i'll regret afterwards"

He looked at his father before turning his eyes towards her, who was standing behind her sister clutching her arm which was in his hold not a while ago.

She stared in those ebony eyes for the longest of moments and then lowered her glassy eyes.

"You have become my destruction Raima"
