"Mister Sanchez" I called him after I got myself near him.

"Stefanie" he replied. "It's been awhile"

"Yeah. How are you sir? And what are you doing here at the parking this late night?" I asked.

"A-ah, nothing" he said, nervously.

"Then, what's that?" I pointed the container beside him. "Do you have any business here?"

"A-ah, I owned a water station and I was thinking of offering my service here" he smiles, suspiciously.

"I see. You should come here tomorrow for that, it's already late" I said while faking a smile. He really looks suspicious and I guess I already saw that kind of water container.

"Yeah, I guess I should. Goodbye then Stefanie" he take his leave. I just looked at him til' he's gone.

"Am I, right? he really is suspicious" sir Jarred said inside his car. He invites me inside and started his car's engine. "I'll give you a ride"

"The water container he had was the same at the cafeteria" I said when I remembered the supplies we had in cafeteria.

"I see. So, maybe the water we used was the problem not the ingredients" he answered. "I'll call someone to get a sample tomorrow and examine it at the lab so that we could know"

The next morning. I saw Alex, she's lively while talking with some of our coworkers.

"Thanks God, you're fine" I greeted her then hugged her tightly.

"I am. Thank you. By the way, sir Jarred isn't here yet" she answered.

"Is there any words he left?" Alex shakes her head. Did he forgot to email us? We are his admin yet we don't know where he is.

"I'll email him to know where he is" I said.

I'm already composing the message for him when Rod from investigation section suddenly appeared.

"Ma'am Lou, you're here. Come with me at the investigation section. There's something you need to see" Rod said after seeing me at my station. "Sir Jarred called me last night about our water supplies"

He explained to me what he did and told the result of the water they examined.

"So, it is really the water that cause the poison to some employees" I said after reading the result. "I'll make the report for this. Please provide some men to present the investigation"

"Yes, ma'am" he answered. I immediately returned to my station after taking some copies of the datas.

I'm in the middle of creating the report when suddenly an angry voice catches my attention.

"I told you, I'm not yet ready" sir Jarred said to a woman next to him.

"But, you need to" the woman said. Her face is unfamiliar to me but I think she's in mid 40's, and base on her attire, I think she had an executive position."It was your grandpa's wish"

I'm a bit curious of her yet I think she's sir Jarred relatives.

They both entered the office as if no one's watching them.

"Sir Jarred looks angry. I guess, they had a family problem" Alex commented. I shrugged cause I can't even tell what's wrong.

After finishing the report. I printed the hard copy and bring it to our manager's office. I'm about to knock the door of his office when I heard them talking about marriage.

"You need to get married as soon as possible Jarred" the woman said.

"Mom, enough is enough" sir Jarred answered.

So, it was his mom.

"Please son, your grandpa is dying. All he wants is to see you get married" she explained. "Just look for someone suitable. You know your grandpa's standard for you. He likes someone's pretty, and who's good at doing house works"

"Mom, are you asking me to find a maid?" he sighed. "and besides, I never met someone who catches my attention yet"

Can I be that someone? I know how to do a bit house works. Well, I guess my little knowledge about that kind of works can help me-- wait. What am I thinking?

Do I want to be his wife? Omg.

Do I like him? I guess I do.

Before getting home, I decided to buy some cooking books in the nearest bookstore in our company.

Since I like him, I need to enhance my housework abilities and I decided to start it with my cooking since my cooking was the worst in all.

"Hay. Do I really like him?" I asked myself while walking in the street. "How do I know? I never fall in love"

"You're in love?" my eyes widen instantly after hearing his voice.What the heck is he doing here?

"S-sir, hi" I greeted him while faking a smile.

"I never know that you loves cooking" he said while looking at the plastic bag I was holding. It was the plastic where my new books are.

"N-not really" I said while looking away.

"Hope to taste some of your dishes" he said. "And I guess, the guy you love was lucky to have someone like you loving him" he pat my head and left me standing.

I felt my heart beats fast more than usual. Is this love?

I sighed, heavily. "I guess, I really fall for him"

The next day. It was my rest day. I decided to start practicing my cooking.

"Mom, let's go. I need to buy ingredients" I said while dragging mom who's not yet ready. "It's already 9 in a morning. If we can't hurry, we can't find a good quality ingredients in a wet market"

"Stefanie, calm down. I'm not yet done with my hair" she said. I pouted my lips. "Fine, I'll make it quick"

"Ok, I'll wait" I smiled at her.

After 10 minutes. Mom's already ready. We walked til' we get to the wet market. We bought fish and vegetables that I need and mom's bought some fruits.

"Are you really ok, Stefanie?" mom asked me after we got home. "This is really new"

"I'm fine, mom. I just want to cook, that all" I laughed a bit.

"But you never want to cooked. You hated it" she said.

I am. I really don't like kitchen works. But, I need to do this.

"People changed, mom" I answered. "Mom, will you help me? I can't understand this part" I said while pointing the instructions in one of a page of the cooking book I am using.

Mom taught me the right way of cooking. She instructed every single step that I should do.

"It tastes good" mom commented after tasting the meal I cooked. "More practice and you can make it perfectly"

"Thanks mom." I said. "Mom, can you also teach me how to do laundry? Well, I know how to do it but I'm not really good at it"

She frowned as if she heard something really unexpected.

"It was really unexpected seeing you at the kitchen, cooking. But asking me how to do laundry? Are you getting married?" I suddenly laughed.

"Not yet, mom. I'm just preparing myself for the future" I said. "To be a bride, I need to be perfect"

"Preparing like that is for those who's really getting married. Find a boyfriend first, Stefanie" mom kissed me in my head, she turned her back and started walking.

"I'm in love, mom. I'm in love with my department manager" I said, directly. Mom suddenly stopped and looked at me. "I want him to notice me, that's why, I want to be perfect for him"

"Oh my, why isn't you say that from the beginning? I'll teach you everything you want to learn" she said, smiling. "You should win his heart"

"I'll do my best" I replied.
