6:⚡

As I gaze out through the window, raindrops fall steadily from the darkened sky, creating a mesmerizing symphony as they collide with the ground. The droplets seem to dance gracefully as they descend, creating a soothing rhythm that reverberates through the atmosphere. My phone rang as I stared out my window, and I rushed to my phone to see if there was a mission alert, but unfortunately, it was our superhero council meeting, and of course, it had been scheduled for the worst stormy day in the town's history. The storm was so severe that it rained all night to the point where there was hail the size of golf balls, and it continued for hours. I love watching a storm roll through, the smell of rain and the mix of fresh-cut grass, and the lighting that strikes through the sky like fireworks on the Fourth of July.

It's so peaceful and calming to just watch and listen to it. I love the way the rain washes away all the dirt and grime on the windows and the sound of it hitting the tree leaves and the roof. It's like a natural lullaby to me. I sometimes watch the rain fall for hours. It's like I can feel all my worries and stress disappear with every drop. I never tire of natural therapy. Rain also helps me appreciate nature's beauty and simplicity. Every time it rains, I'm reminded of how precious and fragile life is and how we should be thankful for each moment we have. Rain brings renewal and hope. Rain is also calming and peaceful. For me, it's a way to escape the world's chaos and just be present in the moment. I am at peace with myself and the world.

I looked back out the window with my phone in hand. I heard my mom calling me.

"Sweetie, are you ready to go, and don't forget to grab your rain jacket?" She said this, yelling from the bottom of the stairs by the front door.

I quickly grabbed my rain jacket and shoved my phone into my pocket. I rushed down the stairs and out the door, hoping I hadn't kept my mom waiting too long. The cool morning air hit me as I stepped out. The rain had stopped, and the sun was beginning to peek through the clouds. I smiled, thankful for the break in the weather. I spent the whole morning and afternoon with my mom while we were busy running errands. I told my mom about the new unmasked supervillain and how I started to have feelings for my best friend. She was confused because she understood what it was like to be in my shoes. After talking to her for hours, I felt like my heart was pulled in two different directions, and I didn't know how to stop it or what to do with having feelings for two different guys, but not just any guys; one superhero who sees the world needs saving even in the littlest things, and the unknown guy supervillain who sees the world needs a little fun action and danger.

The air was charged with a sense of anticipation as the superheroes gathered in the great hall. After months of rumors, the day had finally come for the meeting of the superhero team. The members of the team had been summoned from near and far, each with their own special skills and powers.

The heroes entered the hall one by one, each wearing their distinctive costume. The costumes ranged from bright, flashy spandex suits to more subtle attire, but all were designed to command attention. As they entered, their eyes met, and their faces lit up with excitement. This was going to be a momentous meeting.

I looked at my mom and asked, "Mom, where is Ollie?" "I don't see him anywhere; do you think he stayed home or something?" while looking around the meeting room.

"Sweetie, I am not sure, but I sure hope he is, especially with his mother, whom I need to talk to about the training classes," she said, sipping some of her coffee.

"Well, I hope he is here so I can get a chance to talk to him and try to fix our relationship," I said and looked down, knowing it was hurting me to know we might not be best friends again.

In the center of the room stood a large wooden table, around which the superheroes gathered. At the head of the table was a tall figure dressed in a white robe and a hood. The figure addressed the team in a deep, resounding voice, saying, "Welcome heroes. You have all been summoned here today to discuss the rising threat posed by a new villain."

The heroes looked at each other with a sense of gravity. They all knew that this villain was a powerful and dangerous foe, one that could not be taken lightly. The figure at the head of the table continued, "The villain goes by the name of Shockwave." He is a master of deception and has already caused much havoc in the city. "We must devise a plan for how to stop him before he can further our destruction."

At that point, the heroes began to discuss their plans. They spoke of the various ways that they could attack the villain, from confrontation to subtle strategies. They also discussed the resources they had available, from their powers to the help of allies. After a while, their discussion became more focused, and an agreement was slowly reached.

The figure at the head of the table then spoke again: "Very good." You have all done well to come to such an agreement. I suggest that each of you take on some aspect of the mission. "You should divide the tasks among yourselves so that you can focus on the parts that you are best suited to."

The heroes nodded in agreement and began to split up the tasks. They would each take on a specific mission, be it tracking down Venom's hideouts, gathering intelligence, or confronting him directly. As they discussed the details, a feeling of excitement began to stir among the heroes. Finally, they had a plan that could work.

As the heroes prepared to leave, the figure at the head of the table spoke again: "Remember, heroes." To succeed, you must work together. You must have courage, dedication, and justice in your heart. "Only then will you be able to defeat Venom and restore peace to the city."

The heroes looked at each other with determination in their eyes and nodded in agreement. With that, they turned and began to make their way out of the hall. The meeting had been a success, and the heroes were ready to take on the challenge ahead of them. As I looked around the room, I spotted Olille typing on his phone with notes, which he always does during a meeting to help with putting chairs back in the corner of the room. I walked up to him and said,

"Hey, umm." "I'm sorry if I ever hurt your feelings or something like that, and I hope we can fix our relationship," I told him, looking down at the hard marble stone floor.

"Okay, look, I don't have anything to say right now except that we are paired up for a mission that I have been training extra hard on and making sure I don't mess it up," he said as he folded up another chair.

"I do hope we can work together and hopefully graduate from the superhero academy after catching him and stopping him for good before anything else happens, like him talking over the world like his father tried a few years ago," I said, taking a chair and folding it together.

"We will see if we can catch this supervillain guy, and I will give him a piece of my mind," he said, and he looked at me with a yes, knowing I have feelings for the unknown supervillain and him, which is not a fun love triangle to deal with.

"Yeah, okay, well, I hope you don't screw up and end up having gotten away again, unlike your bank robbery mission," he said, taking another chair to fold together and put it on the cart with the other chairs.

"Hey, that was an accident and not my fault that he got away; you know me, I am a sucker for a guy in a mask." I winked at him, hoping he caught that hint.

"I guess I will see you tomorrow when we get the call, and don't forget to bring the spy book bag like we used to bring to our fake missions," I said, bumping him with my shoulder, which ended up being his chest.

"Ow, that hurt, you know, and it's not my fault that I'm taller than you by one foot," he joked, bumping me back with his whole body, which made me almost fall over.

"See you at the crack of dawn in your green suit, and hopefully it isn't the one your mom bedazzled in case you get lost, and we can flash a light to find you shining like a disco ball," I said, laughing on remembering his mom made him his first superhero costume.

"HA-HA! " Very funny, and see you tomorrow. Also, don't forget that Dash isn't trained to be our third wheel for this mission, although it would be funny if he bit the bay guy in the ass," he said and started laughing.

"See you, Ollie boy," I said, walking out of the building behind my parents.

After thinking of the unknown villain getting chased and bitten in the ass by Dash, it was a bit funny, but I couldn't help but giggle at the image of him screaming and running away. After getting the image out of my head, I started to wonder what the mission would be like and how nervous I would be about starting to screw it up. Well, if my training goes right, it shouldn't be a problem, but just thinking about it makes my stomach turn in a twist.
