When I made eye contact with the unknown supervillain, it was like time stood still, and I was wrapped in bliss. I wanted nothing more than to be with him and get to know him. When we locked our eyes for a while, it was like we already knew each other. I quickly snapped out of my daydream and charged at him, hitting him in the chest and kicking him in the stomach. He quickly grabbed my leg as I tried to kick him in the knee to knock him down in one swift movement.

When he grabbed my leg, he twisted my whole body around in a circle so that my back was against his. He quickly bent down to reach my ear and said, "Nice move, little superhero; now that's trying that again; here, I will help and give you a tip." "If you want to defeat a supervillain, you should know his or her weaknesses, especially when you know him," he whispers in my ear, which sends a tingle down my spine.

As he turned me around to face him, I felt like my heart was about to explode out of my chest. The air in my lungs would collapse. My stomach felt like it had a million fluttering butterflies, and my legs felt like they were made of jelly. I looked into his eyes and knew this was love at first sight, even though we weren't on different teams. Superheroes and supervillains are not supposed to fall in love with each other, but it happens once in a lifetime. I heard many stories about how a superhero and a supervillain fell in love, and no one knows what happened to them.

There are rumors that they ran off together to get married in another county with fake allies, or they were captured together, and someone from each league decided how they would disappear or be murdered without a trace. I never thought of feeling dangerous like this, especially after falling in love with a supervillain, but I knew I had to keep my emotions in check or I would lose this mission, and it would not be a win for the superheroes. If I have feelings for him, I will have to keep them a secret. However, most importantly, I would have to find out who he is and why I love this supervillain.

I pushed him away and said, "Ugh, get off me. Why did you do that?" I asked him while staring him down, not ready to give up the fight.

"Well, you see, as a tiny superhero, you lack combat training, and I just wanted to give you a small lesson, especially when you lose focus," he said. In one swift movement, he had me pinned down on the floor with him on top of me.

When I fell to the floor, I lost air from my lungs as I fell to the rough, cold floor. It was quick, and it hurt like hell, especially when you get thrown onto your back like that. I could not help but cough while catching my breath. However, I just felt hopeless, knowing something was wrong, and stuck on the floor like I was superglued to it. As I looked up, I made eye contact with him. He stopped looking at me like he cared and wanted to stop fighting.

He took a deep breath and sighed, recognizing it was wrong to fight a girl, especially when it was the one he fell in love with. I do not know what love at first sight feels like. However, I knew his stomach was full of butterflies, and his heart would explode out of his chest. He bent down, looked closely, and said, "Sorry, love, I have to leave, and I hope to see you soon."

"Maybe we can meet again like this, especially by giving the people in this city a show of justice versus evil," he whispers in my ear.

In a few moments, he left my view, grabbed the duffle bag of money, and left the bank. As I lay on the floor in pain, my mind wondered about the many different possibilities that could have happened. One of the thoughts that ran through my mind was how pissed my father would be when he found out that I let the supervillain get away with the bags of money. As I slowly got up from the hard, cold floor, my head felt like it had been hit by a train. This is due to my head hitting the ground as I got pinned down. A lady who worked at the bank came behind the teller line and said...

"Oh, my goodness, your head is bleeding a bit; here, let me take care of your small injury," she said as she grabbed some Kleenex from the counter and started to put some pressure on my forehead wound, which made me jump in shock.

"Sorry I jumped and scared you; I didn't mean it, and thank you for helping me," I told her as she cleaned my wound.

"It's alright, my dear, and I hope you get a chance to get your other injuries looked at before they get serious," she said and emailed.

"Oh, I will; don't worry, and I'm glad you and your coworkers didn't get hurt or, possibly, killed," I said. I looked around to see how the damage was and how the other employees were doing. This was after having one of the worst days of their lives.

A few seconds later, the lobby was full of police officers. One officer gave me an intense, cold stare that sent a shiver down my spine and gave me goosebumps.

"What the hell are you doing in here, and where is the supervillain?" He yelled so loudly that everyone in the bank looked at him.

"I told you; I was sent here on a super call. If you had come in sooner, you would have gotten him. But instead, you just either drink coffee and eat droughts or do not know how to do your job correctly," I told him in a sarcastic tone.

"Excuse me, young lady, haven't your parents told you about law enforcement with respect?" he said.

"Well, yeah, only when they do their job," I said, pointing my gun at him, knowing it would piss him off.

"Now you better get home so we can do our work and not be lazy. You better get home now; this isn't a place for children," he said, turning around to talk to his following officers about the investigation.

"Fine, but just make sure you do your job right; in fact, I can't wait to tell the superhero council about this, and this is why we don't always trust you guys to get the job done right," I said, then turned around and headed towards the door.

"Oh, I am so scared I'm shaking in my police belt; good luck with that, and they aren't even being paid to protect this city from crime and, of course, supervillains." "Superheroes are a joke, and we are the real heroes," he said, taking a sip of his coffee, which had a few doughnut crumbs floating on top of the warm liquid of delicious coffee.

I turned around, and I saw his face react, with his mouth dropping open and his face looking pale as a ghost. As I left, the police chief knew he was in serious trouble with Red Bolt, the city council, and even the superhero council. I ran home to change into my superhero outfit and costume. This was before my mother found out about the injuries I had sustained and learned the truth about skipping training to embark on a mission.
