Chapter 10 Save

"You can only be touched by me, Ellen."

Ellen had to be insane to hear the man's voice in her ear. Ellen heard the voice of the man she despised. Where did the gang of men who were harassing Ellen go? Shouldn't Ellen be hearing a lot of people clamoring to wear her body by now? Or was it just Ellen's hallucination?

"Finish them all! I will take this woman to my own car."

Ellen did not mishear anything. Chase drags her and forces her into his car. Ellen, who was still shaken by what had just happened, looked at Chase, who had no smile on his face. He didn't have his trademark grin, which Chase used to make Ellen feel helpless as a poor woman.

"Where are we going, sir?" asked Aidan, who was driving.

Chase mentioned his old penthouse, which he had shared with Sheena. Despite his confusion, Aidan did not want to interfere with whatever his boss was about to do. It's better to do everything Chase says than to irritate him.

Ellen, who was still terrified, couldn't say anything because she was shocked by what would happen to her. Then Chase appeared, widening Ellen's eyes as she noticed the group of men who were going to harass Ellen had collapsed to their knees with injured faces. Ellen realized it was Chase order, and her mind raced at the thought of what Chase could do to the woman's family if she told anyone about their one-night stand.

"Why? Are you still looking at me with that terrified expression? Ellen, where is the bravery that you always display to irritate me? Why are you afraid of seeing me?" Chase's voice was clearly irritated.

"What exactly are you doing here? How did you find out where I was? Are you... torturing my family the way the men are right now?"

"Do you always have a negative opinion of me? You can only judge me negatively, right? Shouldn't you be grateful to me for saving you time?"

Chase shook his head, unconvinced by Ellen's response.

"Oh! I have the answer. Wouldn't you rather have your body groped by that gang of perverts? You must enjoy the sensation of their hands yanking your pants off—"

Ellen slapped Chase after he said something harsh. Ellen unexpectedly burst into tears because of anger towards to Chase of all what he said, which perplexed Chase. "You slapped me, but you were the one who cried. Huh! What a pathetic person you are!"

Chase turned away from Ellen and stared out the window. They both became silent as his rage grew in his mind. They both have their own, completely unpredictable way of thinking. Ellen was relieved that she wasn't being harassed by the mob, but she was also concerned about the state of her family, who had discovered Ellen's pregnancy. She wanted to say thank you, but she wasn't sure if Chase was okay or if he was just threatening Ellen, who was worried about her family's situation. Dom is a powerful man who begins to frighten Ellen's life and has a habit of using derogatory words about her. Ellen couldn't say thank you if Chase was also disrespectful to her.

Their hatred for each other seemed to be growing.

Chase head feels like it's going to explode if he doesn't find Ellen, and he's forced to travel through time. Despite being distracted, Chase vents his rage on Aidan, who is deemed incompetent to handle a single task. Chase continues to chastise Aidan for failing to locate Ellen. According to Aidan, the woman they were looking for, Ellen, did not appear to be on the street. If she were on the street, she would go to the nearest police station because she is unemployed and should not be on the side of the road. Greg's conclusion that Ellen was most likely at someone's house enraged Chase even more.

Chase's rage turns to rage when he finally finds Ellen. He was furious because a man attempted to touch the woman's body. Who do they believe they are touching? Ellen is the woman who is pregnant with Chase's child! Chase was nearly killed by the thought of the man who was holding Ellen and pulling on her pants. Fortunately, the bodyguard Chase had hired performed admirably and quietly. So Chase could easily take Ellen with him.

Unfortunately, the woman had no control over her speech. Instead of asking why Chase was in the same place as Ellen, Ellen should have thanked him. She should not have irritated Chase by accusing him of being a liar. Don't blame Chase for finally responding to Ellen with harsh words; it's all her fault. Chase, on the other hand, receives a slap on the cheek, and the woman sobs after doing it to him!

Chase had good intentions when he saved Ellen, but she was mistreated by the woman. Chase, who had previously been calm, suddenly hardened his heart in order to face Ellen. The woman would come to regret her rash decision to slap Chase a second time.

"Enter!"

Chase pushed Ellen back into the tidy penthouse. Ellen's gaze swept over Chase, and she refused to easily comply with the man.

"I'm not going to do what you say! Where exactly is this? What are you planning on doing to me?!Are you kidnapping or what?!" Ellen inquired, suspiciously.

"What am I going to do to you? Of course, I have to make sure that you will remain silent and don't do anything that could ruin my reputation! I'm not going to let you tell everyone that you're pregnant with my child!"

Chase noticed Ellen's surprised expression. "Why? Didn't you think I'd find out about your pregnancy? You think you can ruin my reputation by running around?"

"I'm not interested in doing anything! I intend to abort it!"

"Who do you think you are to decide everything! Who gave you permission to kill that baby that you are carrying ?"

Chase couldn't take it any longer and pushed Ellen into the house.
Chase would not let ELlen leave because he would have very strict security.

"Let me go or else I'm going to call the police ! Somebody help me, someone try to kidnap me!" Ellen shouts loud but know one can hear her shout.

"Shut up, or I'm going to abuse your family!" Chase intimidated the woman into silence.

Ellen couldn't do anything right now. She couldn't help but obey Chase's commands and offer no resistance.

Chase went into the kitchen to get some cold water to keep his head from becoming too hot. Dealing with Ellen took a lot of patience, and now she was staring at Chase with a piercing gaze. In fact, that man should have been the one who gave Ellen a piercing stare that ruined everything.

"I helped you get out of that mob harassment, but you slapped me instead.  No thanks, and you no longer appear guilty."

Chase received no response from Ellen at all.

"I'm sorry to have to bring you into my life, but I know you have the potential to ruin my family's reputation."

"That's not my personality! I don't want anything from you!All I want is to have a simple life together with my family.

"I wouldn't believe what you're saying, Ellen. You even took Aidans money without objecting, and where did all the money go? You know how to use it, right? You use it to help your impoverished family. Can I still put my trust in you?"

Ellen was unable to respond to Chase's words because, while she did not accept being accused of being a woman hungry for wealth, she did use Chase money . What should Ellen say in response to Chase's facts?

"It doesn't matter how I learned about your pregnancy. Obviously, I don't want you to go anywhere. I'll also check to see if the child is truly mine or if you're concealing something."

Ellen raised her disbelieving gaze toward Chase this time. "Why do you keep saying that I'm going to use this pregnancy to discredit your family?  You say you don't want anyone to know about my pregnancy, but you don't believe that this is your child? Are you insane? I'd rather abort it than hear you say more nonsense."

"Don't say anything risky in my presence. I did this to ensure that you would not lie to me. Because if I find out you lied to me, I'll make you live with the consequences for the rest of your life."

"I'm not interested in this kid. I even got kicked out of the house just to cover up who the man who made me like this was!"

Chase nodded in agreement. "I must admit that you keep our secret very well. You're willing to make a sacrifice to cover up our one-night stand. But I still don't have complete faith in you. Don't argue with me any longer; I know how to deal with a woman like you!"

"It's entirely up to you! I'm not going to care what you want to do." Ellen was tired of talking to this overly complicated man.

"Before we get into the more serious stuff, you can clean yourself up."

Ellen laughed. "Isn't this a more serious discussion?  What are your thoughts? I'm tired, and could you please just say everything now?"

"Not. I can't say anything right now because I need to prepare something."

Chase would never take a step without first considering it. He knew that forcing Ellen to submit completely to him had something to do with official paperwork that would make it difficult for her to escape Chase pressure. Chass used this to retaliate against Ellen's annoying attitude.

"I can't shower here because my clothes are at a friend's house."

Chase gave a disapproving sigh. "Who is your friend?"

"Jimmy. He works at a fast food restaurant and is a friend of mine."

"If I'm not mistaken, men use the name Jimmy.  And you hitch a ride at a guy friend's house while being kicked out? Are you expecting a child?"

Ellen, who didn't like the accusatory question, responded angrily. "I share a house with Jimmy and his girlfriend! Will you always think of me as a cheap woman who sells herself to her friends? I wouldn't have fallen in love with a random man until I got pregnant if you hadn't forced me to, you cretin!"

Chase quickly ended their conversation by giving Ellen an order, realizing that their conversation would not end. "Alright, you don't have to mess around with any clothes. Your clothes will be in your room once you've finished showering."

***

Chase waited for Ellen, who appeared to be taking her time getting ready for the shower. The man had even finished the sheet of paper he had printed after double-checking that everything was exactly what he wanted. Chase didn't waste the chance he had to retaliate against Ellen while also ensuring she wasn't leaving.

"Why did that woman spend so much time in the restroom?"

Chase, surprised and impatient, moved quickly to knock on the door of Ellen's room.

"Ellen? What are you doing in there you're taking so long, making me  wait for you is a waste of time!" Ellen could hear the man because he shouted.

"You dressed me so ridiculously!  How am I supposed to leave here in this outfit!"

Chase had no idea what Ellen had been assigned to wear. Chase delegated all of the work to a servant he could hire. Chase isn't unconcerned, but determining a woman's dress size isn't going to be easy.

"What do you mean by clothes? My maid prepared it for you; I did not buy it."

Ellen's room door opened slightly, and the woman showed her the clothes in question. Chase couldn't figure out why the lingerie were there to give to Ellen. Now, the woman only uses towels because she doesn't want to use the lingerie provided.

"What the hell happened? I didn't tell them to bring you these clothes!" Chase grumbled.

"You are the most enigmatic boss, Chase.  How could you have been unaware that your employees had made such a blunder!"

Chase growls at his employee's error, causing Chase's desire to discuss the rule sheet with Ellen to take longer. Chase concentration was now disrupted by the sight of Ellen's bare shoulders and thighs. The image of the night when their bodies were united flashed before Chase's eyes, confusing him with his own body's reaction.

"What did you see from that pervert?" For a brief moment, Ellen messed with Chase imagination.

"Please give it to me!" Dom took the lingerie from Ellen grasp. "I will immediately request that the employee change it. You must wait for me because we need to discuss something very important. Don't try to avoid it!"

"How am I going to dodge a naked body?! If you keep talking without bringing me more appropriate clothing, I'll freeze to death!"

"You are the most annoying woman I facilitated so well at my place!" Chase clucked.

Ellen simply rolled her eyes and pretended to be unconcerned.

"You drove me here."

Chase sighed and turned to look for the employee who had made a mistake. Chase isn't going to let that idiotic employee off the hook for sabotaging his plans for the evening!
