I was driving us to the small shopping mall with the big supermarket and a liquor store. The store everyone from college gets their booze from.  Joanna was looking out the window, not saying much. I tried my best to be nice to her, after all she was really helping me out here. At least I will be 21 soon and no longer require anyones help to buy some nice drinks for myself.

"What do you want to do first? Food or drinks?" "I don't mind" She replied. Her voice was very soft. I would recognize it anywhere. I always hear her when she is at the pool with Jake and their other friends. It distracts me from studying.

"Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo..." I read out loud. We found the correct aisle and got the cheapest brand of each. "You are just like Jake" She laughed. "What?" I turned around to face her. She was a fair bit taller than me, so it was a bit hard to look her in the eyes. "He would've bought the cheapest brand too and also in those ridiculous amounts" I shifted my eyes to the shopping cart. 5 tubes of ketchup, 3 mustard, 3 mayo and 4 BBQ sauce. Maybe this wasn't needed after all? I slowly grabbed one each and put it back in the shelves.

"You will be set on sauces for a while" She stated, and grabbed the shopping cart to continue the shopping.

We actually had a little bit of fun picking out the candy and chips. Turns out we are both sweettooths. I love candy, to be honest I eat it way too much. How can it be a good day without a piece of chocolate or gummy candy though? Joanna and I kept picking out different things , throwing them in the cart and debating which ones are the best. The brunette couldn't stop laughing when I accidentally popped open a bag of big fluffy marshmallows. They fell all over the floor. I was quite embaressed and immediately offered the store employee to help clean up and pay for it. Joanna hasn't stopped laughing yet.

When we finally got to the register she jokingly asked me if I had done enough damage in the store for the day. I felt a little embarassed still and blushed, whereas she smirked at me. Great, she still finds this funny. She'll tell Jake and then they can both laugh at me together. Seriously though, I wonder if they ever do that. I mean Jake and I are siblings, although we aren't kids anymore, we still have stupid fights and this special sibling love between us. I wonder if he ever complains to her about me, tells her about me or if they ever make fun of me.

I unloaded the things in the truck of my car whilstJoanna got us the alcohol. "There you are, finnnallly,  took you long enough" I commented as she finally arrived back at the car. "Sorry, the line was long  and the man wanted to make sure I was not using a fake ID. Apperantely I look younger than 21."

I eyed her carefully. Her soft, big eyes, her lovely smile, the weirdly shaped ears and the shoulder long hair. She did look like a teenager.

I let my eyes wander to her body. She was wearing a white top with some lace at the top and blue jeans shorts. Effortlessly pretty.

"Hey my eyes are up here" She joked and once again giggled. I turned bright red, not saying another thing, just turning the car on and driving back home.

She helped me unload all the things. "Thanks for helping me with the shopping" I said awkwardly. "You're welcome" She said. No you owe me one or I will make you do something in return, just you're welcome. I appreciated that.

"I better go now. Goodbye, Alicia" I like the way she says my name. I didn't expect the next thing. She went over to me and hugged me. Just briefly, nothing extraordinary. Yet, we never hug. Her and Jake do maybe, but not the two of us. Her hands were around my shoulders, I put mine on the sides of her waist, which was mostly a height thing. Girl is tall as hell.

"Bye" I said as I watched her get into her car and drive off.
