"Let's go party tonight before your flight tomorrow", Venice suggested

"Do you want me to go there with a hangover?" I ask while fixing my luggage

"Come on, just a few drinks. We won't party all night," she said and smiled sweetly.

I was discharged from the hospital, and as a promise, I'll go to Korea to help the team perform their first fashion show. Thinking about what happened to me these past few weeks makes me want to go there and forget everything. Well, back to reality, my friends are currently at my condo and disturbing me.

"Okay, fine, but just a few drinks and no hard drinks", I agreed.

"Yes ma'am, you should prepare so we can already go out," she said

"Give me a minute" then I ran into my closet to get change. It's party time, guys!

"Look who's coming," Micah said as she saw me walking toward them.

"What?" I asked Ignorantly

"You're a bad girl. How can you be so sexy and stunning?" Venice complain jokingly

"I can't disagree with that since it runs in our blood", and I smile.

"Lovely, Zoe. You don't look broken at all," Faith said

"Oh, come on, stop complimenting me already and let's go" I get my bag and get out.

"Hey, wait for us!" Venice shout, and they follow me

"Hurry up, you're too slow," I said

"You silly girl", then Micah messed up with my hair.

"Stop it! I work hard for that" and fix my hair

"Okay, that's enough for you two. We need to hurry up before Seth sees us," Venice said

"She's right. My brother won't allow us when he'll know we're going to party", I agreed.

"Don't worry, guys. He's in a meeting right now. There's no need to get anxious about it?" Faith said
"How did you end up dating anyway? Did you get tired of fighting and decide to be a couple?" Micah asked, which made me curious and look at her

"The owner just texted me that the VIP room is ready," she said, avoiding answering the question.
"Oh, that's good," Venice said

After 10 minutes of travelling, we're already here. This was the bar of someone we knew, safer than the other bars we went to. We were never harassed in this place. That's why we love it.

"Glad you're here. Come on in", Bliz greeted us at the entrance. She's the owner.

"Blizy, I miss you," I said and hugged her.

"Me too. It's just sad that you're going to Korea."

"Why do I feel guilty leaving you guys? Come on, stop the drama. I'm not going to live there." I said they kept saying that this was my last day with them.

"You should," Micah said

"Come on guys, we came here to have fun so cheer up," Venice said to lighten up the mood

"Yeah, we're going to have some fun to the fullest", I agreed and brightly smiled at them.

"Okay, it's party time" Micah is also getting in the mood.

We drink, dance and party like there's no tomorrow. I have fun being with these girls. They bring out the best of me. That's why I need to protect them and all the people I cherish the most.

"Are you having fun?!" Faith asked in a loud voice for me to hear

"Yeah!" I shout back

"Let's go back in the room and have some drinks!" Venice said, so we left the dance floor and went back to the room

"We wish for your safety there, To Zoe!" Micah said

"To Zoe", they respond as we raise our glasses and make a toast.

"Thank you, guys, for making this day so worth remembering", and I hug them.

"Of course anything for you dear" Venice said

"Don't you dare accompany me to the airport tomorrow? I'm done with the drama. I'll just chat with you when I get there" I can't let them see me leaving the airport and will be flooded with their tears. It's like someone died, so I don't want that to happen.

"Okay fine, but let us sleep in your apartment tonight," Micah said

"Sure, no worries", I respond, and we continue drinking.

"Dr Won, please finish it for me," I said to him as I stood up. "Good job, everyone", and I smiled at them.

"Are you already going home?" he asked while I removed my surgical gown. It's my second surgery today, and I'm happy for another successful operation.

"Yup, just call me when anything happens," I replied

"Okay, take care doc," he said

"Sure, bye everyone", and I leave at the OR.
I want to take a shower badly. That's why I want to go home. Another thing is my mom is going home today from her trip. She made me worried just about going on a trip with a friend. Though it's good that she's safe, that's all that matters to me.

"Can you check room 1001 later please and update me." I said to the nurse at the counter while looking through my messages

"Did you just finish the surgery?" That voice makes me lift my head and look at her. How could I forget that she's on the night shift?

"Yeah", I answered and smiled at her.

"Noted Dr. Park, you should go you must be tired," Mia said. She was the head nurse

"Oh, okay, thank you", and look at Camille. "Bye," I said

"Bye, here, take this with you" then she gave me a canned coffee.

"Thanks", and I take it. My heart can't stop beating just seeing her.

"No problem", she stands up while holding files. She must be doing her rounds now.

"I should go. Chat to you later." I said and walked away

My mom texted me that she had prepared dinner, so I drove as fast as possible to get home. When I get there, I quickly park the car and go directly inside.

"Mom I'm home," I said

"Oh, you're just in time. Go and change before we eat," she said

"I miss you", and hug her right away

"Come on it's just a few days, stop being clingy they might call you a mama's boy," she said

"It's okay, mom, I'm used to it", then kissed her on the forehead. "Anyway, I'm going to change now so we can eat" I run into my room to change and get out.

"How's your surgery today?" she asked while serving food.

"Of course it was successful, I don't want to fail you so I'm doing my best not to have any mistakes." I replied

"Oh, you never fail me that's why I'm very lucky to have a son like you," she said

"Thank mom, by the way, let's eat before the food gets cold," I said, and we started eating while talking about how her trip to Paris went.

After dinner, I start to fix and wash all the plates. When I was done, I went to my room to shower, which was refreshing. It was so tiring but, at the same time, so worth it because I can help people to get well and improve their health. I sat on my bed as I dried my hair with a towel when an unknown number texted me. Out of curiosity, I opened it.

'Hi, can you meet me for a minute? It's me, Zoe.'
I was shocked to receive a text from her. Where did she get my number? I don't remember giving it to her, but I replied that I couldn't and received another text.

'Come on, I'm leaving tomorrow. I just want to give something to you.' what? She's leaving?
'Fine, on my way', I replied and got out of my room.

My mom seemed to be sleeping, so I didn't bother to disturb her and just left quietly. She sends me her location, and I drive quickly to go there. As soon as I arrived, I saw her standing at the bridge.

"What are you doing here?" I ask while going to her

"You're here. I thought you'll dump me," she said happily.

"Are you drunk?" I smell some liquor

"Just a little, don't worry, I'm still fine, see", and she turns around.

"Okay, that's enough. Let's get out of here" we're on the bridge, surrounded by cars.

"Sure" I assist her to my car

"Where do you want to go?" I ask while putting on my seatbelt

"Anywhere we can eat. I'm actually hungry, haha", she smiles shyly.

"You didn't eat before drinking?" this girl is unbelievable.

"Well, I skipped about that and enjoyed the party," she said and closed her eyes.

"Okay, take some rest. I'll just wake you up when we get there", and drive. She's the closest patient I've met. I don't feel any awkwardness when I'm with her. It's like everything was just so natural.

"We're here," I said and tried to wake her up. She slowly opens her eyes and looks around.

"Oh, sorry, did I just doze off? Your car was too comfy," she said as she got out of the car.

"What do you want to eat?" I ask while we're entering the restaurant

"Where are we? I've never been in this place before," she said with amusement.

"That is a secret. My mom and I love to go to this restaurant for it's surrounded by nature", I respond.

"Yeah, it's beautiful", she whispered but I still heard it.

"Come on, the inside will amaze you more", and bring her inside, and I'm not wrong. She was astonished.

"Good evening Mam and Sir, welcome", the usher greeted us.

"Good evening, I've reserved table for two it's under the name of Zoe," I said

"This way, please", and we follow him.

"Woah, I didn't expect you did a reservation your cool" then she gives me a thumbs up

"You do need to do some reservation when you want to eat here," I said

"Really? The food must be a luxury." I can see that she's already troubled with the prices of the food

"Relax. The place may look like that, but the food prices were very affordable and worth the price" she needs to chill.

"Do make sure I don't have enough cash with me. Though if they accept a card then I'll be happy to pay them," and she smiles.

"Here we are. Enjoy," the usher said and left us. I pull out the chair for her to sit.

"What a gentleman" then she takes a seat and starts to see the menu

"Anyway, order anything you want, and I'll pay for it. I don't take you here for you to pay." I said she was leaving tomorrow and didn't know when I would see her again.

"Oh my gosh, that was so kind of you. I won't disagree. Thank you very much," she said

I let her order for us. I did eat, but I'm feeling hungry again, maybe because it's already midnight. We just ate and talked about life as if we had known each other for too long. I enjoy her company, which is not what I expected since we barely met at the hospital, and that's all. Now I know the feeling of finding someone I can call a friend, and that is her.
