"The two of you still don't change. By the way, I need to go. I had to check another VIP patient," Dr Zie said

"Let's go. I also need to grab some food," Mr Sue said, and they all left together. I was left with this patient who looked sad and was about to cry.

"Here", and lend her my handkerchief. "It's bad to keep it. You should let it out. Don't worry about me. I'll be waiting outside until you're done," I say, leaving her.

I heard her crying as soon as I got out of the door. She's holding that for a long time. Even though she didn't tell me I already knew, her eyes showed how broken she was. She needs time, so I leave and go to the vending machine to get some coffee.

"How is she?" I looked at him

"She's fine now, how about you? Is your face okay?" I asked back

"I'm good. Thank you for helping me yesterday", Luxe replied

"No need to thank me, I just did what I suppose to do," I said and got my coffee.

"Um, Dr Park, about what happened yesterday, can you keep that between you and me. You know, as an actor, it would ruin my reputation," he said, trying to explain his situation.

"Don't worry, Mr Faber, I don't spread rumours about people, so rest assured," I said and returned to my patient's room.

"Want some coffee?" I asked her when I got there.

"No, thanks", she replied.

"How are you?" and checked on her.

"Better than fine," she answered.

"Good, keep that up and you'll regain your strength," I said

"Can you do me a favour?" she asked.

"Sure, what's that?" then looked at her.

"Take me to the rooftop. I just want a fresh air," Zoe said

"Okay, I'll just go get you a wheelchair."

"No need for that. I can walk. My feet are just working fine."

"Oh sorry. Of course, how could I forget that." well, most of my patients use a wheelchair when going somewhere, so I was used to it.

"It's okay" she slowly got up, and I assisted her to stand.

"Are you new here? It's my first time seeing you in the VIP ward," she asked while we walked.

"Nope, I'm a general surgeon and was assigned to the emergency ward. The reason that I'm here is because of you," I replied

"So I'm your first VIP patient?" then she smiles.

"Actually, my second one. I heard that Dr Zie are the only doctor that can check on you, but because he was busy, he asked me this favour to look after you." he was the sister of Mr Sue, who owns this hospital. The much-known fashion designer who just had a successful fashion show yesterday.

"Well, you're on the list now. My brother trusts you, so it means you're one of those doctors who can check on me," she said

"How can you be so sure about that? It's my first time meeting him, and the worst thing is I give him a piece of advice without realizing whom I talking to," I said, feeling embarrassed.

"My brother would not leave me alone with a doctor that he doesn't trust. Do you know why there are only one who's allowed to check me?"

"Why?" I get curious

"It's because three doctors have threatened my life and some of them tried to take a picture of me to sell them to the reporters when they found out that I'm his sister, but my brother saved me from all of those so starting that time he didn't let any doctor go near me every time I'm here except for Dr Zie," she explained.

"Don't worry, I'm not that type of person. I don't know what got unto them, but that was too harsh to do to your patient; as a doctor, you should treat them and not kill or do anything bad at them just for your own good," I said.

"Well said. Anyway, did you put new plants here?" It takes me a minute to realize what she's saying, and when I look around that's where I see that we're already at the rooftop

"Hey, are you still with me?" She snaps her finger.

"Oh, yeah, sorry. I didn't realize that we're already here" I said

"Haha, I guess you enjoy hearing my story", Zoe say's

"I did. It was my first time talking to my patient. I don't get to talk with my patient with a serious conversation like this before." I said

"Wow, I guess I'm too a chatty patient," she said

"No, it's okay. I would love to have a conversation like this with my patients. This would help us to be comfortable with each other," and I smile at her.

"I know you already, but I want to introduce myself again. I'm Zoe, by the way," she said

"I'm Healer but I would prefer you to call me Dr. Park when we're at the hospital," I said

"Dr Park", she looked at me. "You know what? I like you already", she smiles sweetly.

"What?" I asked confused

"I like you", she repeated and looked at me while I was standing looking at her, puzzled.

 "You can't just say things like that. We don't know each other yet," I said, making Zoe laugh.

"What? I think you misunderstood me right now. I like you mean I want us to be friends. This is my first time talking to a person I just met, and I was so comfortable with him" as she said, I wanted to hide in embarrassment. How could I actually think that she really likes me?

"Okay, by the way, enjoy the air. I'll just make a call," I said and walked a bit far from her. 

I don't want Mr Sue to panic when they come back to the room and see that Zoe is not there, so I'll call to inform him. After talking to him, I tried to call my mom, but she was not answering. I don't know if she's still at work, but I hope she's already home. It's already late.

"Look at the moon. It was beautiful with the stars surrounding it," she said when I joined her.

"Yeah, it is", I agree.

"I used to hear from those who are important to me that they love me to the moon and back, but it was a lie. Ultimately, they will leave me, and I'll be alone again. No one loves that much because when people grow older, they realize that you're not that important." she started crying again. "You know what? I saw her again, my so-called best friend, but she was still angry at me, and her eyes were full of hatred towards me." She continued

"Shh... I know how you feel right now, and it's okay to let it all out," I pat her back slowly.

"Thanks, this will be the last time I'll be crying. It's time for me to wake up and go back to the game," Zoe said and wiped her tears.

"Good" then I smiled at her "We should go. You need to take a rest if you want to get well soon," I said

"Okay, you're the boss," she said, and we returned to her room.

"Sleep well, see you tomorrow" It's time for me to go home since I didn't go home yesterday.

"Goodnight, have a safe trip home, Dr Park" as she said, I left and ready my things.

"Dr. Park can I have a minute with you?" I look back

"Dr Zie, of course. How may I help you?" I stop walking.

"I would like to share this good news with you," he said while looking happy.

"Sure, what's that?" I can't wait

"You've been promoted" did I hear him right? Did he say I've been promoted?

"I don't understand" is this even real?

"Mr Sue was impressed with you. He saw something and said that this hospital needs a doctor like you", he explains.

"I don't know what to say, sir. I'm just delighted right now" all my hard work is worth it.

"Come on, go home and celebrate with your family. You deserve it. Good job Dr Park" he pats my back and leaves.

"YES!" I jump in excitement 

(At Home)

"Mom, I'm home" I was so happy to tell her that I'd been promoted at work this day.

I bring the food to the table and go to my room to change. After that, I go out to see if she's in the kitchen, but she's not. Perhaps she's taking a bath. I get the dinner prepared and wait for her.

"Mom! Let's eat!" I shout so she can hear me, but there is still no answer. I'm becoming nervous. I get up to knock on her door.

"Are you there, Mom?" I checked, but I have yet to hear back from anyone.

When I opened the door, she wasn't there. I quickly took out my phone and attempted to call her. That is when I noticed she had called me over 20 times. I contact her again, but the phone is only ringing.

"Answer the phone," please! What exactly happened to her? If something terrible happens, I won't be able to forgive myself...

"MOM!" I yelled and went out to the house to find her.

After doing rounds in the neighbourhood, I returned to the house and waited for her. Maybe she called because she'll be working late tonight. You can't blame me if I'm worried. I don't know much about her work, so I get paranoid at times like this.
