"When did you last talk to her?" the police asked, I’m at the investigation room

"Yesterday morning" I answered

"How about your fiancée? Did you call her when you got home?" he asked

"I just texted her, you can see it on her phone. She didn't reply so I just assumed she's sleeping" I replied "Can we just start finding them? We shouldn't waste time, something might happened to them" I'm very worried

"Don't worry sir, we will start to investigate this case. One more thing, the blood that was found in the scene, one of them belongs to your mom. Still we shouldn't lose hope on finding them"

"Yeah sure," I said

"Thank you for your time, you can go home now” and they leave me. My phone keeps on ringing but I don't want to answer any calls for now. After hearing that my mom owns the blood in that crime scene makes me more anxious. I can't even calm myself right now

(Flashback)

"Heal, I need to leave there was an emergency at work," my mom said

"But Mr. Qui is not here yet, you should meet him before leaving" it's time for them to meet each other

"Maybe we'll meet next time, I really need to go. Sorry Camille, do enjoy your party" then she hugs her

"It's okay auntie, take care." Camille said after that my mom leaves. I saw Mr. Qui (Camille's dad) coming down the stairs.

"Camille, Healer I'm so sorry but I need to leave. There was an important call and they need me at the company right now." he said

"That's okay sir, don't worry about us, we will take care of everything." I said

"By the way, tell your mom that I will say hi if she'll come" then he leaves. Camille and I look at each other and just smile.

"Come on, let’s just greet the other guest." I said and go outside

After a long day, I go home and take a shower. My mom is not home yet so I decided to cook some food for her to eat when she comes home. The telephone suddenly rings so I answer it but when I speak it suddenly hangs up which is weird. Anyway, I go to my room and try calling my mom but she's not answering. Maybe she's busy again, I'll just text Camille that I got home there was no response so I slept.

Ring...ring..ring..

My phone was ringing like a hundred times already and I don't know why. I reach for my phone and answer it immediately.

"Hello" I answered

"Is this Healer Park?" a man asked on the phone

"Yes, who's this?" I asked

"I'm a police officer, this phone was find in a crime scene" he answered

"What do you mean?" I'm confused, I open my eyes and try to check the caller and it was my Mom. I quickly got up

"How are you related to the person who own this phone?" he asked

"She's my mom, but where did you get it?" I said

"Come to the police station right now and we'll tell you all the details. We actually found two phones and I think they're both related to you." as he said that he hang up

I change instantly and drive directly to the police station he sent me. When I got there I saw Camille's parents going to the police station. They look so not okay and it gets me nervous for no reason.

"Mrs. and Mr. Qui, what are you doing here?" I asked them

"Healer! Did they also call you?" Mr. Qui said

"Yes sir, I don't know what happened but they had my mom's phone" I replied

"Healer" Mrs. Qui starts to cry

"Auntie why are you crying? What is happening?" I never saw her cry like this before

"We got a call that they saw my daughter's phone at a crime scene. Camille is missing Heal" when Mr. Qui said and I was so confused and I don't know how to react.

"What do you mean?"

"Are you the family we called?" a police officer came to us

"Yes" I answered

"Come in inside" we all go inside

"We saw two phones on the crime scene one belongs to your mom" he looks at me "and this one belongs to your daughter" he looks at Camille's parents "Though the distance was a bit far from another. Someone reported to us a dead body on that site and as we confirm the body identification he's not one of the people who own these phones."

"So are you telling us that the two of them might have witnessed the crime?" I asked

"Yes, mostly your mom because her phone was near the dead body. We also see that there's a lot of blood in there, according to the investigation it owns by a two-person which we're still confirming." he said

"Tell us, is there a possibility that they're okay?" I'm starting to get worried

"For now we can say that there is a possibility since there was no report about finding dead bodies." he answered "Anyway, we need to interview you separately if that's okay?" he said

"I'm sorry but I have to go back at the hospital I still have a surgery to perform today. If it’s okay I’ll be back later? " I said, I know my mom was involved but I still have hope that she's fine.

"Go on Heal, we'll take care everything" Mr. Qui said

"Thank you sir"

"Okay sir" the police officer agrees, so I leave and go to the hospital to perform the surgery. After that I go back to the police station.

(End of Flashback)

When I got home I received a text message which made me angry.

'I know what happened to your mom I saw everything'

'Who are you? What do you know?' I replied, my phone suddenly rings so I answered it

"If you want to know, you should get one million dollars and meet me at the place I'll text you" . It was a man's voice but the voice doesn't seem real so I'm not sure about its identity.

"How can I be so sure that you really know?" I said

"You'll be when you see their pictures" he answered

"Then prove me, money isn't matter just make sure you won't hurt them" I said

"Make sure you won't tell this to anyone, even the police" and he hung up. I received a message. It was a photo of my mom at the crime scene covered with her own blood and a picture of Camille who's unconscious.

This is not a simple case anymore, so I call my friend who can get me the money. My dad was rich and he didn't leave me penniless so it's time to use that money. What is important to me now was my mom and my fiancé.

"Heal aren't this money too big?" he asked when he gets in the house with the money

"Wong don't worry, I had a plan." I said

"Bro are you in trouble? Why do you need a lot of money?" he ask

"Someone took my mom and my Camille need this to claim them." I said

"How are you sure about that? You can't just trust someone, don't fall for their trap on you." he said

"I'm not falling into this trap, you know me. This money will be just proof that I can pay." I took a picture of it and sent it on that no. He sends me the address and the time to meet.

"Are you going there alone?" he asked

"Of course not, you'll be my backup in case something happens" I responded "Get ready, you should be there before we meet" he was one of my trusted friends. Wong is a private investigator and he was an expert sniper. Before being a doctor I trained with him but my mom doesn't want that kind of job so I didn't continue it.

"Okay, I'll be going. Make sure you wear some bulletproof. I remember giving you a jacket, wear that" he said and leave.

That person texted me to see him at 9 pm so I went to my car and started driving to the place he texted me earlier. As I got there I took out the money and waited outside my car, suddenly I heard footsteps coming to me. I looked up and saw a woman, she's the woman I saw at the party yesterday.

"You?" I said confusedly

"Hi, remember me" and she smiles devilishly

"You're the one who took them? Why?"

"Shhh..You asked a lot of questions. Do you want to find them or just waste your time asking?" she said

"Where are they?" I asked

"Show me the money first." she said, I opened the case and showed her to prove to her that it was all money I poured on the ground.

"Haha, do you think you can fool me? How dare you call a police when I told you not to" she said starting to back off

"What do you mean?" I said and look around I saw the police was surrounding us

"Wait! I didn't call them. I don't know how they get here" I explain

"Shut up" and she pointed a gun at me. I put my hands up

"Listen, I just want you to tell me where they are." I said and step forward

"Back off before I shoot you"

-Bang-

She drops her gun

"Damn!" she runs, I chase her but she was so fast enough and suddenly she stops.

"I can't believe you're such a fool." she said and laugh sarcastically

"What do you mean?" I asked. She got shot in the hand but she still look fine

"Got you!" she turn around and smile at me
