When we got home, I immediately scolded the twins because I didn't like what they were doing to Daniel, "What are you two doing?! You were so rude to Daniel earlier! You did mean to tackle him onto the ground, didn't you?"

"What? Of course, not," Jeremy defended, obviously lying, "It's his fault that he blocked the court."

I noticed he looked at Nicole as if they were talking with their two eyes. Looks like there are others of them now so I needed to be alert.

"We're going to our room. We're kind of tired," Nicole laughed a little as she went up and Jeremy smiled as she went up as well.

I rolled my eyes because of their habit I knew they were planning something again so I had to find out what they were doing.

NICOLE

"Hi, guys! We have a surprise for you! OH! You're here too, Camille!" I shouted briskly and quickly sat down on our bed.

"Yeah. What's your surprise?" Camille asked while she is busy pressing onto her cellphone.

I immediately grabbed a wallet that was in my pocket all along, "HERE!"

It was as if heaven and earth had fallen on Sandra's face who was looking at my hand, "What are we going to do with that wallet? Eat it?"

"This is not just a wallet, guys! It's Daniel's wallet."

"What?!" Camille immediately spoke and looked at the wallet, "Wow. Really? How did you get that?" she asked and threw her phone away. She immediately took the wallet I was holding and seemed unable to believe what he was seeing.

"Of course, I took it secretly. Unfortunately, I'm making a fuss."

"What are we going to do with it?" Raffy asked.

"Let's just burn it or take the money first!" Camille said and we all agreed.

We took the money and were about to leave to burn that purse when Kath suddenly blocked the door to stop us.

"Okay, then brats. Now, I know your plans. You won't burn anything today and mind if get this?" she snatched the wallet from Sandra's hand and the money in my hand, "Go into your room and don't you ever mind going out, or else!"

We were just afraid of being reprimanded so we just followed my sister. But we will make sure we succeed next time!

KATH

I sighed as I walked to the entrance of the school gate. I haven’t seen Daniel yet and I don’t know how to deal with him. I was afraid he might get mad at me because the twins took his wallet.

I saw Rick on the stairs near the registration area, "Rick!" I called him and he immediately looked at me and smiled.

"Hey! Hi Kath! Good morning! You're so early, well our classes will start in an hour."

I scratched my head even though I didn't have lice and smiled, "Yeah, I was about to find Daniel as I have to give him something important. Did you happen to see him?"

"Ah, yes. He's in the other building at the gym, the basketball court," he replied so I nodded and thanked him.

I left immediately and hurried to the school overpass to cross to the other building where the room of the senior high students was. When I entered the gym, I couldn’t find Daniel anywhere.

I was about to leave when I spotted one of his friends and teammate, John, "Hi! You're Kath, aren't you? Are you looking for Daniel?"

I nodded, "Yes, I hope you know where he is? I can't see him everywhere. I have to give him something important."

"He's in the locker room on the corner. Just go inside, he's all alone in there," he said and left suddenly.

I hurried over there and as I entered I saw him preoccupied with searching the inside of the locker.

I was silenced and he was surprised to see me by the door, "Kath! It's you, come in!"

"It's okay. U-uh ... are you looking for something?" I asked even though I knew what he was looking for.

"Yeah," he replied gently, "I still haven't seen wallet since last Saturday. I'm confused that I couldn't find it. I know I didn't leave it here, also I know it wasn't stolen either."

I immediately opened my bag and took what he was looking for and handed it to me, "Here it is."

He looked at my hand and his eyes widened slightly in shock. He looked at me and pointed, "My wallet was with you all this time? I mean, how?"

"Jeremy and Nicole took it while you were guys playing. I'm sorry, Daniel. I'm ashamed of you now. My siblings just have a brain tumor. I hope it doesn't happen again."

"What are you talking about? Don't worry. It's okay with me. I just thought I lost it," he replied. He opened his wallet and checked the contents, "See? Still complete and nothing is lost."

I smiled a little when he suddenly put his arm around me which surprised me and my heart pounded, "Come on and we might be late for our first subject," he said and we walked back to the main building at the same time.

As we walked he was still looking at me and I could still notice that, "Do you want to tell me something?" I suddenly asked him.

I saw that he was still looking at me and his face was a little red as if he was still embarrassed, "I'm sorry," he said and scratched his neck, "There's going to be a party later on our block and I'm thinking of inviting you. I don't want to go, but it's more fun to go with you."

I smiled because I was too close to him. I could see that his ears were still red as he said to me, "I don't have a problem with it. What time is the party?"

"Six p.m."

When he said six pm, I frowned. My mom will be home from work at seven PM so I have to take care of my siblings, "It's a pity. My mom can't come home yet. She'll finish her work at 7 p.m. and no one will take care of my siblings."

"Is that so?" he asked and he was thinking when he suddenly smiled, "I know. I'll just accompany you to your house while you take care of them. People will be able to wait at the party and it's as if I can officially ask permission from your mother."

I can't believe what he said, "Really? Is that okay with you? But maybe I'll bother your time, it's just my siblings and --"

"That's fine with me. Promise! If you don't come, I won't go either."

"Are you that insistent?" I joked and pinched his cheek, "All right, I'll come with you right after I take care of my siblings."

DANIEL

I looked at my watch and it was six-twelve o'clock in the evening before I rang the doorbell at Kath's house.

While I was waiting, I couldn't help but be nervous because what if one of Kath's siblings will open the gate and made a deal with me again.

The gate opened from the inside and I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw that Kath. She came out and opened the gate for me, "Hi Daniel! It's good that you're here. Come on, come in first. My mom isn't here yet," she said and I just smiled at her.

She accompanied me until I entered their house. I saw her siblings watching television and I always felt like I'm some kind of an actor because all five of them looked at me.

"Hi Daniel," Sandra greeted and I noticed her fake smiles, but I just let it go.

"Hello, too. So, shall I just stand here or what?" I was joking.

"Do you want to? All right, it's okay," Camille replied firmly and immediately turned her back on me.

Kath immediately scolded her siblings, "What are you guys doing? Don't treat my guest like that," she looked at me, "Sit down first and ignore them and I'll just put on my make-up."

"Even if you don't put on make-up, you're still beautiful," I whispered but her siblings immediately looked at my view.

"What's that? Are you saying something, Daniel? I'm sorry, I haven't heard much."

"That's nothing. All right, I'll be good here," I just answered and he immediately went up again to finish what he had to do.

I was about to relax here in the living room as soon as I suddenly remembered that I was the only one here and I am with her five siblings.

This is what I'm saying! I'm nervous now that I'm looking at them and still smiling. Their smiles are not ordinary because their smiles are different, smiles with intentions and plans.

"Daniel? Are you busy?"

"N-not really. Why? D-do you need anything?"

"Yes, I hope so. I'm suddenly hungry. Can I peel you an apple?"

"Apple? Oh, a-alright," I replied and immediately headed to their kitchen. I know they have a plan again and I feel like something bad is going to happen tonight. I was nervous but I had to be alert to whatever they would do.

"Here's the apple," Jeremy said and immediately threw the fruit at me and I caught it. Of course, I'm a basketball player so I'm used to playing with my hand.

"Thank you."

I looked for their peeler and I immediately saw it. I got the peeler and I washed the fruit and my hand before starting peeling the apple.

As I peel the fruit, I look at them, too and I feel their sharp stares at me. It's a sign that these kids are planning something. But maybe, I'm just overthinking so bad about them.

I was about to continue peeling when Nicole suddenly spoke and held Sandra, "Sandra and I are just going to the toilet," she suddenly pulled Sandra out and left the Kitchen.

I looked to the side where I could see there was a toilet room here. I looked at their behavior but I could no longer see them. Why do they need another bathroom? It’s just amazing but I also need to be alert

SANDRA

Nicole made a soft laugh because we weren't going to the bathroom. We will just carry out the plan we all have. I immediately picked up my favorite weapon, which is the shave. Remember, James? I did shave his hair out that time. I feel sorry, but he deserves it.

Well, about Nicole, all she has to do was take Daniel's wallet again from his pocket. After all, that's where she is good at. She is like a thief because he was unaware that his wallet is stolen.

"Let's do it," I whispered to Nicole and I turned to pick up a stool. I was young and I couldn't reach him that much. He is also way taller than James so I needed a stool without him knowing.

Nicole took his wallet first and we opened it. Oh good, there are three hundred dollars in it. Man, he's rich!

Well, we aren't thieves so we took that money out of the wallet and slowly put it back in his pocket and his other ATM cards without him knowing again.

I stepped onto the stool and when I started using it I couldn't believe he would catch me, for the first time in my life.
