DANIEL

As we got in front of Kath's house, I saw Rick restless to one side and still complaining.

"Do you guys know? Maybe, it's not right for us to come here. Can we just come back?"

"Why? Are you afraid of Kath's siblings?"

"You're over-reacting, Rick. It's like you've experienced what Daniel went through, eh?"

"I'm just scared of what he's doing to Daniel. Especially, when he said that the girl almost shaved his hair! Aww, I love my hair so much!"

"Don't be such a baby, Rick. COWARD! Come on," Jessiah pulled him so he could do nothing but follow his girlfriend.

Sandy and I were just in the back and I saw Kath's siblings open the gate and were pleased to see Sandy.

"Hi, Ara! How are you?" Jeremy greeted him and smiled more. He couldn't even smile at me like that before, but I hope now they can do it to me.

"I'm fine, Jeremy," Sandy replied back.

"Hey, sister! You have some friends with you, who are they?" I heard Camille's question and they seemed to notice us but they couldn't because we were in the dark portion.

"It's my friends from Butuan, and perhaps friends that you also know maybe," when Sandy left the front we were already seen and I saw their eyes widen as if they didn't expect me to go to their place.

"DANIEL?!"

"Yes. It's me guys," I shuddered because maybe they'll do something to me. Especially since I even hurt their sister.

"B-but, h-how did you get here? All of you? You've come all the way up here," Jeremy asked us in surprise, "How did you meet Ara?"

"I took them here to see Kath and Daniel here is my cousin. I am Sandrina Ara Elizalde, by the way. I'm very surprised that your sister and my cousin were dating," I rolled my eyes. Ara is really talkative.

"I s-see. But why are you even here, Daniel? Let me remind you that you hurt our sister," Sandra said.

"You even promised that you would never hurt our sister," Nicole said.

I bowed down and wiped my face, "Yeah, I know that. That's why I didn't miss this opportunity and I wanted to talk to her and fix everything. I realized that I can't afford to lose your sister, even if you don't want to."

Camille looked at me and nodded, "She's upstairs, Daniel. She looks like she's in a hurry as soon as she got home."

I immediately went in and went upstairs and was accompanied by her siblings. They pointed to Kath's room but she wasn't here, "She's not here. Guys, please cooperate. I know that I hurt her and I'm aware of that but can you please just don't hide your sister for now, please."

“We saw her a while ago and went into her room,” Raffy said.

"Brother, even though we're bad kids -- well, we admit we became brats when it came to you but in times like this, we're not liars," Jeremy admits and nods, "We're not exaggerated liars."

"Okay," I said and brushed off my hair. We all went down and the group greeted us, "Kath isn't here. Can we split up and find her. Her siblings also don't know where Kath is."

They agreed and Nicole said, "Can we go with and look for her, too?"

I nodded, "Okay, okay. Rick, Jessa, Jeremy and Nicole, you go together at that side while the rest will be on the other."

"Ok!"

"Copy!"

"Roger that!"

Then immediately they all left and went out of the house without them knowing that I was not with them.

I looked around, "Kath, get out of there. They're not here now," I said suddenly until Kath came out to one side and her face was obviously full of astonishment.

"You knew I was here hiding?"

"No, but I recognized that scent. Your scent is just because of your smell, I already know where you are."

She looked up and sighed, "What are you doing here, Daniel? Didn't I tell you that you don't have to look for me anymore?"

"I can't, Kath."

"Which one can't you?"

"I can't afford to lose you in my life. Look, I'm really really sorry when I shouted at you. I'm sorry for what I said but I'm sorry for all that. I love you so much so I didn't stop looking for you and now that you're here I will never let you go even if --"  I felt like I was electrified when she puts her index finger on my lips. It's like she just did it to me for the first time. She still gives me the chills and butterflies.

"Wait, I'll speak first. I'm also sorry because I suddenly decided that I didn't let you know, especially you. I still love you dearly, Daniel. Can you still forgive me? Because I left and didn't come back. If I could just go back to the time I was still deciding, I would have done it. I'm really sorry for what happened, especially with the pin-- " I didn't finish her when I applied my lips to her lips.

I missed her so much so I didn't know that that kiss would go deeper but I still let go and I could clearly see that she smiled, "I love you. Can you be mine again?"

"Daniel, I haven't lost you in my heart. I realized that you are the one for me."

I smiled and I was about to lean for another kiss when suddenly someone coughed on the side. We were surprised that they were all here and that her siblings glared at me.

No, not again! I'm nervous again and maybe these squirrels will separate us again.

"Guys, you're all back. Well --" Kath couldn't continue what she was going to say when they all ran and hugged the two of us. O-kay? This is weird.

"Kath, it's fine with us," Sandra said and I looked at them in shock.

They let go of the hug and they all smiled at me. The smiles are true and genuine.

They gave a happy smile, "Earlier, we were all talking and we realized that we were the ones who were wrong. Actually, when Jess even had an accident, I saw that you were really something," Camille said, "Maybe, it's time for us to let you go, Kath."

"You know what, Daniel? Even though I kind of disliked you at first, I'm still amazed at you. You're actually nice, we're the only ones who aren't," Jeremy said and I laughed, "Well, sometimes let's play basketball."

"Well, sure."

"Are you guys that serious?" Kath asked them all in astonishment. She still couldn't believe it.

"Yes, we are. We're very sorry Kath and Daniel. Because of you, you have been affected by the evils of our behavior."

"It was nothing," I said and smiled, "As long as we're all okay."

"OH MY!" We turned to the newcomer, Kath's mom, "It's good to see you, Daniel! Are you all right, my son?"

"Mom! You're really right! My decision was wrong and now we're fine."

"Maybe we'll go back to Butuan? I told my boss in Butuan that I was just on leave for a year so I was still able to join the same company," she said, "Your class is over, and next time. You're in your fourth year."

"Yes, Aunt Luz. I'm happy to be with Kath again and promise, we'll never be separated again!"

"Hey Rick! I'm disgusted with your hair!" I heard Jessiah shout, "You need that haircut! You can shave it, too. SANDRA, COME ON!" Jessiah shouted and Rick's eyes widened.

"Perfect timing!" at the same time, Sandra smiled evilly and waved her favorite peeler weapon.

"HEY! NOOOO!" Rick shouted and the two of them chased each other.

We just laughed because with the hardship we went through we became well. Especially, with her siblings.

We all get along and it's like we're also siblings because we're so close. They also had a party at their school and we went back to Butuan at the same time.

My parents have already met her and they are happy to have met Kath again. Now, we have finished studying as well.

Time flies so fast and we both got married and of course, I'm also happy to see that Kath's siblings get along better with other people. They also became friends with the triplets, now that they have all returned to Butuan City.

Forever will be loved by Kathryn Silvenia-Elizalde. I am a happy husband and father to my four children. This is also where the suffering of Daniel Elizalde ends.
