Seth is in serious discussion when his phone starts vibrating non stop in his chest pocket. He ignores it and continues the conversation.

After his brief discussion with his directors, he shooed them away and then checked his mail.

It was an app notification and there are the promised pictures.

It's already 7.

Maybe he should go back?

He stands up and walks to the door.

The secretary is yawning hard. Waking up early, going home late, despite this kind of torturous and monotonous lifestyle, the pay is just too tempting that she never thought of quitting.

No.

So many people are aiming to get her job.

If she quits, it's just a matter of who will replaced her so she never complains.

"I'm going home."

The secretary almost screams hearing the boss's voice.

She didn't notice when he opened his door because her eyes were concentrating on the computer..

She stands up and gives a respectful bow that she cultivates over years of working here.

"Thank you for your hard work." She said but Seth ignores her.

The secretary immediately dialed the boss's drivers phone.

"The boss is going down! Wait for him in the entrance."

She said in a tone of urgency.

"Wh-what?! Why didn't you call immediately?" The driver is caught off guard and immediately starts the engine and cools the car at the right temperature (the boss preferred temperature).

"The boss suddenly walks out the door without informing me. How would I know?"

Despite people getting anxious, Seth is in a good mood.

Jessica is playing with her new phone.

She wanted to call Seth but she hasn't got his permission yet.

She sent him pictures wearing a dress, a night gown and sunday dress, pants and skirts but he only got a seen indicator.

There is no reply.

She types on her phone even though she is scared.

Jessica : Seth...Can I call you?

Seth is about to walk through the glass door but stop.

Jessica flinched seeing a call.

She excitedly answered.

"Seth!"

"Hm.."

"Seth, did you see?"

"The pictures are good. The phone's camera is good."

"Oh.. Seth, I ask Butler Aeron to get me a phone that looks like yours. So we match."

"Hmm.."

"Thank you for the phone and everything else."

"What can I do? I am a good owner."

Jessica giggles.

"Yes. Yes. Tell me when you are almost at home. I'll wait in the door."

"What an obedient dog."

"I'm a cat! Nyaaa~~"

"Hmm."

"Seth, am I pretty?"

"Not really."

Jessica pouts.

"Hmp."

"Your courage is growing."

"Hehe."

"I'm going home now."

"Oh?! Really? How long will you travel?"

"It depends on the traffic."

"Hehehehe."

"What are you laughing at?"

"Nothing. So even the rich Seth can't hide from the traffic. I feel so funny thinking about it."

"You think I can build a road for myself? Am I that omnipotent in your mind?"

"Seth is the best!"

"Hoh."

The driver is relieved to see the boss still inside the building talking to the phone.

If the boss gets out and he isn't there.

This wonderful super huge money earner job, he can kiss goodbye to it.

The driver waits and the body guards that are waiting in the entrance are waiting too.

When the call ends, Seth walks through the door and in an instant large tall bulky men surround him.

But they are his personal guards and not an enemy.

Yet they still look scary.

Only one guard will sit next to the driver while the other three guards will sit on the other car that will follow the main car.

This is an ordinary thing for Seth.

Being surrounded by guards and surveillance.

Nobody can get near.

But somebody actually succeeded.

"Seth!" Jessica runs the stairs and hugs Seth.

Seth catches her as her skirt sways in the air.

Seth frowns

"Heavy."

Jessica laughs and rubs her head to his face.

Seth frowns but he let her be.

"Nyaa~"

She said kissing Seth's cheek.

Seth stares at her.

"Get down. My arms are shaking."

"Nyaaa~" the spoiled cat hugs him tighter.

"Don't be willful. Get down."

Seth said.

"Mad?"

She asks and stares at him.

Seth sighs.

"Don't move." He said carrying her to the dining area.

"Hmmm." The spoiled cat hummed happily.

Everyone dropjaw at what they witness.

Everyone stares at each other but says nothing more.

Eating dinner, Seth sits on the top middle as the head of the household. Yet there are so many chairs lined up with only one person eating but now there is one seat occupied.

Eating happily is a person yet she is his pet.

She volunteered herself to be his pet.

As crazy as it might sound, he took her in.

"As a cat, shouldn't you eat in a bowl with cat food?"

Jessica stops chewing and frowns.

"I'm not."

She pouts and continues eating.

"What are your plans? Continue acting?"

Jessica looks at Seth.

"Nyaa?"

"I can give you resources. Acting roles, commercials----"

"I'm Seth's pet." She stands up and sits on Seth's lap.

"You can't ask me to leave."

Seth lips twitch.

"You are saying you don't want to work and rely on me?"

"Cats don't go to work." Jessica said and wound her arms around his neck.

"Jessica is a cat."

Seth flicks her nose.

"What a lazy cat."

Jessica scrunches her nose and kisses Seth's cheek.

"My human is so powerful I do not have to work."

Seth snorts but says nothing.

Jessica hums and didn't leave his body.

Seth is a cold person but why is his body so warm?

"Eat." He said and tried to feed her but she's unmoving.

After a while he realized that the cat was sleeping using him as her cushion.

Seth feels awkward.

He even tries to feed her.

Now she is sleeping on his body.

What else would this pet-thing going to do to him?

"I should have a new hobby."

He is not sure why he takes her in.

If he pity her or what else but to do so many things for this 'cat'.

"Boss, should we carry her?"

"You think I can't carry my own cat?" He looked away and carried the sleeping Jessica.

But it was really a hard climb. Their bedroom is on the third floor so he climbed three flights of stairs.

Panting and wiping his forehead from the sweat.

"You naughty...I know you woke up while I was climbing on the second floor stair."

Seth pokes her cheek.

"Nyaaa~" Jessica giggles and tackle Seth.

"Sleep with my human."

"Stay here in your room."

"Please? Just for today?"

"No."

"Today is a special day. This is our first day together. Sleeping with my human…"

"You are so sticky."

Seth lips twitch.

Jessica waits but Seth walks to the door.

She sadly lay on the bed.

"Come." Seth said before he closes the door.

The cat stood up and ran to hug Seth's waist.

"Seth is the best in the world!"
