Seth carried Jessica to the bathroom.

He put her on the flat surface near the tub and removed her dress.

His eyes run up and down looking at her beautiful naked body.

"Seth." Jessica's voice sounds like a cat's meow in his ears.

Seth puts her in the tub. He makes sure that Jessica's feet won't be soaked.

Seth raises his sleeves and starts rubbing the washcloth with bath gel in her body.

"Ah."

Jessica closes her mouth after a shameful moan escapes her mouth.

Her face is bright red.

Seth flicks her forehead.

"Feeling comfortable?" He asks.

Jessica hesitates.

"Nyaah."

"Not going to answer?" He raises a brow.

"Nya~"

Seth grins.

"My cat is feeling shy?"

Jessica shyly looks at Seth then she hugs his neck. Her wet naked chest pressed to Seth's body.

"Don't move suddenly, your feet can't be soaked."

Jessica opens her mouth and bites his neck.

"Ah?"

Seth rubs Jessica's hair.

"Come on, we have to wash you clean. It'll be bad if you catch a cold."

"Will Setb not allow me to sleep with you?"

"I don't like to sleep with a sick cat."

Jessica pouts.

"Dry me."

Seth kisses her forehead.

"Okay."

Jessica rubs her body to Seth who is working with his laptop in their bed.

"Seth~~ Look at me~"

"Let me check this. I'll be over soon." He said typing more.

His eyes are on the screen.

Jessica sighs and rolls on the side facing her back to Seth grumbling.

Seth's eyes wander to the sulking cat.

His lips curl up.

After a few minutes Jessica rolls back to Seth's side and sits up rubbing her body to his back.

"Come on, you said it'll be finished soon.…"

Seth smiles.

"Almost."

Jessica pouts.

"How long is that?"

Seth looks at Jessica and kisses her nose.

"Sleep."

"Sleep with me, Seth."

"Hmm…"

"Seth~~"

"Okay." Seth closes the laptop and stands up to put his laptop on his table.

He is about to go to bed but Jessica grabs him and pulls him to the bed.

He was dragged by her and he slammed to her chest.

He gasps pulling his weight back and about to scold her but she sees her winching.

"What's wrong?" He asks worriedly.

"Umm...Nothing."

"What nothing? Show me your feet!"

"It's nothing."

Seth glares at Jessica.

"Why are you trying to lie?"

Jessica tries hugging him but he stands up and walks away.

"Seth? SETH!"

Jessica's heart trembles.

She waited but Seth didn't return immediately.

Scared, She stands up and walks to the door ignoring the pain.

Seth went to the next door looking for the gauze and the cleaning medicine to put in Jessica's feet.

It takes a while before he finds everything.

"Seth!"

Jessica hugs Seth.

Seth eyes widen as he stares at the blood trails Jessica made.

"What are you doing?"

Seth hurriedly carried her to her bed.

"Let me loo--Why are you walking around like that? Look at your wound! It opens up again!"

"You leave me angry...I thought you would not see me again." Jessica sobs.

Seth sighs and wipes her tears.

"I just look for your medicine." He said in a calm tone.

"Does it hurt?"

"Carry me." Jessica said tugging Seth's sleeve.

Seth carried her back to their room and put her to the bed.

Then he hurried back and took her medicine kit.

He starts cleaning her wound.

"Don't do that again."

He said seriously.

"...nyah."

"Don't answer like that."

Jessica pouts.

"Okay."

Seth kisses her forehead and laid her down.

"Sleep."

"Where are you going?" She asks.

"I will just put this back to the other room."

"Will it take long?"

"I won't."

"Okay. Hurry."

Jessica smiles hugging the soft pillow.

Her eyes are looking at him.

Seth went out and brought the medicine to the next door.

His steps are hurried and large in strides.

He gets a rug and wipes Jessica's blood off the tiles before he goes straight to washing his hands.

Seth lay on the bed and Jessica rolled to his side.

Seth hooks his hand around Jessica hugging her. Jessica lay her head on Seth's chest.

"Seth, good night."

"...How's your feet?"

"As long as Seth is here. I don't feel any pain."

Seth laughs.

"Your mouth is made out of honey."

"Ahahahah."

After Jessica fell asleep Seth opened his eyes and moved to the veranda.

He closed the door and looked at the dark night without stars.

"Aeron,gather a thorough report about Jessica's life. How is she treated and why is she being chased."

"Yes Sir." Aeron replied.

Seth takes a deep breath.

He grits his teeth.

The woman is special to him.

Her reliance on him is a bit strange but he ignores it till now.

Jessica is scared that he will leave her because she needs him.

He doesn't mind if this will make her more dedicated to him.

But that moment when she disregards her pain to run after him breaks his heart.

"What are you so afraid of?" He said angrily.

After calming his mind, he went back to the bed and lay next to Jessica.

Jessica moves to rub herself to him.

"Seth…" she murmurs.

"I am here."

He said rubbing her cheeks.

A smile spread in Jessica's lips.

Seth kisses her forehead and hugs her.

Next morning, Seth frowns seeing all the reports in front of him.

Jessica was treated like a disposable tool.

Seth remained calm after reading the reports but it is a mystery what he is thinking inside his head.

"This group…..How powerful are they?"

He asks.

Aeron thinks for a few seconds.

"They have a local politician as a backer and their operations are being supported by the provincial police director."

"Compared to the Vastian House?"

Seth asks.

"Ah?" Aeron blinks.

He realized that the Master decides to completely shelter and protect Miss Jessica.

He thought Seth was finally fed up with Jessica and wanted to find a way to expel her.

Good thing he is not someone who meddles in other affairs especially not the Boss's affairs.

"They are insignificant."

Aeron answered in a certain tone.

"You know what to do to insignificant people?"

Seth asks.

"Yes Master."

Seth and Aeron walk side by side.

Seth is pushing a tray cart carrying his and Jessica's meal.

Aeron opens the door and politely leaves.

Seth wakes up the sleeping cat.
