CHAPTER 5

KAELYNN's POV

My eyes widened with his sudden move and took a step back.

He’s maybe the same with the twins or maybe worst. I had to think of a good alibi.

Ah! that’s right!

"Ah but sir Darenn’s probably looking for me already so..." I didn’t know if he’ll believe me or not but I do hope he does.

He smiled at me, the normal one, then stood up. I took another step backward and hugged myself out of fear.

"Easy, I’m not like the twins. Let’s transfer to Darenn’s room so you’ll still be able to look after him. Okay?" he said and I felt relieve because of what he said.

"Okay sir" I replied to him. He’s different from the twins. I knew it already by looking at him. He would never have dirty thoughts about me.

He looks so intimidating and workaholic so I’m sure he also has high standards when it comes to women. I know that even if I strip in front of him, he will not take even a glance at my body, unlike the twins whose big perverts! Hmph!

"Let’s go," he said so I followed him to Sir Darenn’s room. When we arrived, I saw him looking out on his window and I got confused about why sir Daryl suddenly stepped out of the room.

"Kaelynn can you please close the window, I’m being dazzled by the lights," sir Daryl said. I nodded at him and walked closer to sir Darren.

"Sir let’s close this for now, okay? Your brother doesn’t like the sunlight that much" he just nodded at me then went back to coloring, I turned on the lights instead then sir Daryl came in.

"Sir do you have any sickness?" because of curiosity, I suddenly just blurted it out.

"Ah nothing, my eyes just tired from staring too much on the laptop that’s why I got dazzled easily," he said. Really? Then how come they only leave the mansion every sunset?

I still had a lot of questions in my mind.

"Stop overthinking already, come here and massage me already" I nodded at him then he lied down on sir Darren’s bed. I massaged his back already while trying my best to ignore my fast-beating-heart.

I don’t want to entertain this feeling of mine for sir Daryl anymore because I know, he will never notice me.

"Can you step on my back too?" I was surprised by what he said. Yes, I did that before on the orphanage but that was when I am still young. I don’t think he can handle my weight now.

"But sir I think I’m too heavy and you might break some bones" he tilted his body a little and face me.

"I may be skinny but trust me, I can handle your weight" he smiled at me in a teasing way and gosh! I think I just felt some romantic excitement.

Aaaah! Why is my boss so handsome!

"Okay sir" I gulped then just focused on my job. I stepped on the bed already and was about to step on his back already when the door flew open.

"Bro if you want someone to step on your back, you can just ask Darren to do it" we were shocked when the twins suddenly entered the room and Danrious took sir Darren then put him on sir Daryl’s back.

I winced then fix myself down. Sir Daryl just laughed at them and said "Your right! Darren, can you step on my back please?" I assisted sir Darren while he’s walking back and forth on sir Daryl’s back. While they’re both enjoying the massage, I could sense a sharp look from the twins.

"Hey! You give us a massage too later" said Danrious while looking at me sharply and Daniel just smiled at me.

"We’re next Kaelynn, just go to my room," Danrious said and before they could totally leave the room, Danrious threw another sharp look on me and walked out.

We just finished massaging Sir Daryl and he went back again to his room. I hugged Sir Darren and said.

"Sir Darenn, thank you. Can you come with me to your twin brothers’ room?" but he just shook his head.

"Why? You don’t want to? Poor Kaelynn" I said with a pout but he just pointed on the drawings on the floor. I just sighed and let go of him.

"Okay, but can you follow me in your brother's room later when you're done? I’m a bit scared of your brothers" I said to him but he just rolled his eyes on me and went back to coloring.

He’s really grumpy but it’s okay he’s still cute. But I really want sir Darren to go with me to the twin's room to make sure that they will not do anything to me again also, the way sir Danrious look at me earlier is scary.

I shook my head. No Runo! You can’t be scared of those two monsters!

I stood up and convinced myself that everything’s gonna be fine.

"Babye Sir Darenn, Aren’t you going to miss me? Come with me please?" He didn't mind me at all, not even a glance was given to me.

I walk through this long and dark corridor on the way to the twin's room which is located in front of each other, the one on the right is Sir Danrious’ room but he’s not using it that much since it looks like he doesn't want to be separated with his twin.

I took a deep breath and was about to knock when the door was open and they both drag me in.

"Kaelynn! you’re really cute!" Daniel hugs me then rubbed his cheek on my cheek. This one’s too clingy, tsk!

I pushed his face away from mine and looked at him sharply. "Who’ll be the first one that I’ll give a massage with? Hurry up! I still need to take care of sir Darren" I said with a brave tone. Daniel smirk at me and pull me on the bed.

"Me first. Make sure it feels good, okay?" I rolled my eyes on him and smack his back and he just laughs at me then lie down on the bed like a child.

"You’re really brave Kaelynn, your even smacking me even though I’m one of your masters here" he said. That’s because your not worthy of respect.

"Ahaha" I just laugh at him. I really don’t want to stay in this room, after what they did to me yesterday.

"Kaelynn do it harder," he said so I did push my hands as hard as I can to hurt him but it seems like it didn't work at all.

"On the other side Kaelynn ahhhh...lower...do it harder" I just shook my head. He’s too noisy.

"Lower kaelynn ahhh that feels good" I’m getting irritated here.

"Lower kaelynn, lower" I smacked his butt. He just wanted me to do that. They were both shocks with what I did then they both laugh.

"Hahahaha she smacked my butt Rious! Sh*t that feels good! One more time Kaelynn" he said and I stood up.

"I’m leaving. You're just playing a prank on me again" I was surprised when Daniel pull me by the arms to the bed.

"Rious" Daniel called out to his twin, Danrious and the latter approached us with a bored expression.

"You're leaving without completing your job? But with Daryl, you’re willing to step on his back? Maybe you want him to ride you, huh, sl*t?" my eyes widened with what he said.

"What did you say?" I asked and he just smirked at me.

"I said you're an sl*t" I bit my lower lip out of anger and was about to slap him but he was able to stop my hand midair.

"You want to slap me again? I won’t let you! Remember this, don’t you dare flirt with Daryl unless you want to die already" my chest tightened with what he said.

Me? An sl*t? But there’s nothing wrong with having a crush on someone, right? Besides, I’m just doing my job earlier.

I’m trying my best to stop my tears already.

"Remember this Runo, we’re the only ones allowed to touch you here and stop imagining that Daryl will like you. Look at yourself, your just a low-life container" he said. This is too much, I know that I’m just a maid here but I’m still a human, they’re not allowed to belittle me and what’s with the container?

"Where’s Luno?" the door suddenly opened.

"Sir Darenn" I couldn't stop my tears anymore, I don’t know, I feel like he’s my brother protecting me in this house.

He approached us and held my hand. He frowned on his brothers and the twins let go of me.

"Don’t have color buks" sir Darren said while looking up at me while I just hold my lips trying my best to stop crying already. I just nodded at him and let him drag me out of this place.

I heard Daniel sigh and Danrious said in a low voice.

"Let’s talk later" I no longer turn to face them and just keep walking out. Whatever I do, even if I talk to them with a firm and brave voice, they’re still higher than me so it's easy for them to step on me like I was just a slave.

But I can’t accept that, especially if I can’t fight for myself like earlier. Why do they always treat me like I'm a useless person?

That I’m just a weak girl? I stopped walking and fall down on my knees, this is too embarrassing, sir Darren can clearly see me crying right now.

"Hush now Luno" he patted my head and I looked at him, and for the very first time, I saw him smiled at me so I hugged him.

We continued walking back to his room. I felt like I don’t want to be separated from this kid anymore. I felt like I’m safe when I’m with him and that he’s my big bro who would protect me even though he’s smaller than me.

He pulled me to sit at his playing area. He gave me one of his teddy bears and opened the window.

A breeze of fresh air entered the room and I could clearly see their wide backyard and I was amazed with the view.

"Behind this mansion is a sea?" I stood up and walked towards the window, from here you could see their backyard full of trees and plants and passed through that was the wide and blue sea.

On the side, you could see a path to the city. I looked at sir Darren and he’s just staring outside while holding one of his stuff toys.

"Do you wanna go out?" I asked him and when he looked at me, I saw this spark on his eyes that no one will be able to say.

"Alright, later at sunset. We’ll just ask for sir Daryl’s permission" he shook his head as a no and frown.

"He no allows us" he turned his looks outside again. The view here is so relaxing. It just too bad that he can’t go out of this mansion.

Maybe that’s why he’s too pale since he’s not exposed to sunlight that much and he can’t even play outside. Is it also because he can’t go out so he won't have any friends?

But had he ever made contact with other people?

I composed myself and carried him. he snaked his arms on my neck and I smiled on him.

"We’re going outside later this afternoon. I promise" I winked at him and put my index finger on my lips and said “shh”

"This is only between the two of us, okay?" he nodded at me and hugged me tighter. Sir Daryl will leave the mansion at 3 pm and I’m sure the twins will be too preoccupied to mind us, the other maids don't care at all as long as they are doing something so we just need to sneak out of Mila’s sight.

"Ok, sir this is our secret, alright?" I said and again. I saw his cute smile.
