Seraphina overhead some strange voices echoing outside the dungeon. The aura she could sense was that of someone she knows..

“I think it's him...” She mumbled and got on her feet. The big door opened and a figure walked in. Alpha Gordon finally revealed himself. 

He stood there, staring at Seraphina in complete shock. “ it's you...” Alpha Gordon mumbled. In fear, Seraphina backed away from the cell cage. 

“You have no idea how long I've been searching for you. How in the world did you manage to get into the palace?” Alpha Gordon asked.

Seraphina didn't respond. She saw no point in speaking with Gordon as she already knows his intentions. “Did you come all the way here just to kill me?” She asked.

Alpha Gordon scoffed. “You sound more confident now. The old would be on your knees whilst speaking to me!” 

His words sent chills down Seraphina's spine. She was beginning to quiver in fear. “Not that it matters now though, because I will end your pathetic life at this moment!” Alpha Gordon said and slowly took his wolf form. 

*In the king's Chambers*

Adolf came in a haste. “You were right, your majesty. He really has something to do with The woman.”He said and bowed. 

The king sighed and slowly stood up. “Where did he head to?” 

“I think he's heading to the Dungeon. The guards were discussing something with him before I left them.” Adolf replied. Imogen walked out of the room and Headed to the dungeon. 

Adolf quickly followed him. They both reached the doorway to meet the guard laying there subconsciously. “What is this?” Alpha Imogen asked in confusion.

“ I should head in first, Your majesty...” Adolf said and slowly unsheathe his sword from its scabbard . He headed into the dungeon and the king followed him nonchalantly. 

They soon spotted Alpha Gordon, trying to shred the Cell cage into pieces just so he could reach Seraphina. “What in the world is he doing...” Adolf mumbled. 

“Do not take another step!” Adolf yelled, pointing the sharp end of the sword at him. Alpha Gordon slowly calmed down and turned to him. 

“You, What do you intend to do with your tiny sword!” Alpha Gordon said sarcastically. 

The king, who had been lurking in the shadows, Finally emerged. “Stop whatever you are doing Gordon.” He said, menacingly. 

Immediately, Gordon backed away and took his Human form. Many guards came in immediately. “Take him away to the special prison. And as for the girl...” Alpha Imogen said and halted. 

He stared at Seraphina who was completely still. She had stopped quivering and just watched as the scene unfolded. “Release her, but keep an eye on her yourself, Adolf.” 

“Yes, your majesty.” Adolf said and bowed. 

Alpha Imogen walked away in silence. The already broken door was opened and Seraphina walked out of the cell cage. 

“We Should head to your Chamber now...” Adolf said to her. She nodded and led the way out. Seraphina walked past Alpha Gordon and stared at his menacing eyes. 

Gordon's eyes were so frightening that she couldn't stare for too long. She quickly looked away and continued walking. They exited the dungeon afterwards and Headed for Monica's chamber. 

They soon reached the maid's quarters. Few maids were sitting around and they all jerked in fear when they saw Seraphina. Everyone in the palace had already heard of The incident. 

“I always knew she's a freak. Do you think we are safe with her here?” The maids whispered to themselves as Seraphina walked past. 

Seraphina's heart throbbed in fear as they approached Monica's Doorstep. She wasn't sure Monica would still accept her after hearing about the incident. 

Adolf knocked on the door. The door opened and Monica peeked out. “Adolf? How can I... Seraphina!” Monica sprang out of the room and hugged Her tightly. 

Even Adolf was confused as to why Monica was so excited to see her. “Ermm, You are not scared of me?” Seraphina asked meekly. 

“Scared? Don't be silly! Head inside now, I'll join you in a moment.” Monica said, Her face beaming with a bright smile. 

Seraphina nodded and walked in, leaving Adolf and Monica outside. Monica sighed after Sera left. “What is going on Monica, why are you so attached to her?” Adolf asked. 

“I do not think I am that attached to her, Adolf. Alright, maybe I am but does it really matter?” Monica asked. 

Adolf sighed. “The king wants her to continue staying here but with proper attention. She should not leave the palace in any accord.” 

Monica nodded. She wanted to step back in but Adolf stopped her. “Wait, do you really know what she is?” He asked.

“I do not know and also do not care. If I cared what she was, I wouldn't let her come back here.” Monica replied. Adolf sighed and turned to leave, He went back to the king's Chambers afterwards.

Entering the room, Monica met Seraphina sitting on the chair and eating an apple. “Did they not feed you well in the dungeon?” Monica asked and laughed. 

“They didn't. I was quite underfed there, it's a miracle I'm still alive!” They both laughed it off. Monica sat next to her and ran her fingers through Seraphina's hair. 

“Are you not bothered by what happened at the king's hall?” Seraphina asked. 

Monica halted. “You need to tell me the full details of what happened at the king's hall. I've been so curious about everything.” 

“Oh, I do not remember much. I was asked some questions by the mage which i answered and The king asked his guards to take me away, that is all I can remember...” Seraphina replied. 

There was a sudden knock on the door. Monica stood up and walked to the door. She opened it slightly and peeked out to see one of Seraphina's Roommates. 

“Are they that worried about her that they couldn't wait to see her?” Monica thought to herself. 

“My lady, I do not think I can continue staying in the same room with Seraphina. I would like to request that my room gets changed.” The maid said. 

Monica's jaw dropped in shock. She turned to Seraphina, who was silently listening to the conversation.
