*The Next day*

Seraphina slowly opened her eyes. The room she was in was unfamiliar to her but she could sense someone around. She turned sideways to see a Physician. 

“You are up. Do you feel better now?” The Physician asked. Seraphina was confused as to why The physician was suddenly asking how she felt. 

She tried sitting up and it finally dawned on her that her arms and legs had been strapped to the bed. “What is going on? Why am I here?” Seraphina asked in confusion. 

“The king wants you to stay here till he sends an order. You were transferred from the dungeon since you didn't wake up earlier.” The Physician stated. 

Everything The Physician said made absolutely no sense to Seraphina. “Who are you? What happened last night? I was at the king's hall and then...” Sera halted. That was all she could remember from the previous day. 

“You attacked the Crown prince and also sent Guards flying Across the Hall. If the Royal mage hadn't interrupted, you would have surely killed someone!” The physician stated. 

Seraphina's jaw dropped in shock. It sounded unbelievable that she did everything the Physician said. “But...It all feels so strange as I can't remember doing any of these things you stated! ” She Exclaimed. 

The physician sighed. “Well, it sure did happen. We do not know what the king would do about you yet.” 

A Knock was suddenly heard on the door. “It must be one of the guards...” The physician mumbled. The door opened and Prince Zephyr walked in.

“My prince...” The physician said and bowed. Zephyr nodded and walked to Seraphina, who was still strapped to the bed. He halted and stared into her innocent eyes. 

Sera quickly looked away. If only she hadn't met him in the first place, she wouldn't be in so much trouble. “I was so terrified when I saw you change into a blood lustful Monster. You looked as if you would kill everyone in the hall last night” Prince Zephyr stated. 

“It was that bad...” Seraphina muttered.

“It was a sight I really do not want to see again. You could have killed me if Lupe didn't stop you.” Zephyr stated. 

Seraphina sighed. Her hopes to get released soon were gradually fading away. “ This is all too much to handle quickly. Whatever decision my Father makes, I will make sure he doesn't hurt you.” Zephyr said. 

“Thank you...” Seraphina muttered. Zephyr nodded and left the infirmary afterwards. The physician left too and Seraphina was all alone now. 

She took a deep breath and tried breaking the straps. They were tightened hard and it was hard to break loose. Seraphina felt a strong urge grow in her, she tried breaking free again and this time, the straps broke free. Seraphina sat up staring at herself in shock. 

At the king's hall, The ministers were all yelling and arguing on top of their voices. They waited for the king to address the incident. 

The king soon emerged and sat on his throne. “I am certain everyone has the same question. For the time being, Lupe would inspect the maid and try to find out as much as possible.” 

His ministers whispered amongst themselves. What they really wanted was an explanation of what Seraphina really is. 

After Lupe revealed Seraphina is a Hybrid wolf, The king Asked the guards that overhead to keep it a secret.The king's aim was to inspect Seraphina and figure out if she's a great threat to the kingdom or otherwise. 

“This will be all for the meeting. Words would be sent to you all of there are changes.” Alpha Imogen said and left the hall afterwards. The ministers resumed their endless arguments.

*At the crawling Jackers pack*

The sun ray forced Aeogon's eyes to open. He sat up and stared around like a lost Dog. “You are up...” A voice said from behind him. 

Aeogon turned around to see Alpha Mingan. “What happened to me?” He asked with a cracky voice. He felt so weak and could barely move his body. 

“Your inner Wolf acted up. Something similar to that...” Alpha Mingan replied. He couldn't just tell Aeogon what was truly inside him. That would ruin the plan he has been scheming for a decade. 

Slowly, Aeogon tried to stand up. He was on his feet but couldn't move well. Alpha Mingan walked to him and helped take his seat again. 

“You should rest for now and as soon as you're completely fine, you'll head to the palace.”

Aeogon's eyes widened in shock. The time he had longed for was finally here. “I will head to the palace now?” He asked excitedly. Alpha Mingan nodded in affirmation. 

Surprisingly, Aeogon was completely healed the next day. Alpha Mingan was forced to let him leave for the palace immediately as had promised to let him when he was completely fine. 

“The maids have prepared everything for your departure. Always remember to stay undercover and wait for words before acting.” Alpha Mingan instructed. 

Aeogon bowed his head. He left the pack, riding his horse to the King's palace. After a long ride, He reached the gate.“Finally, I'm here for you...” He mumbled as he Alighted from his horse. 

He walked with his horse to the gate. “State your reason for being here.” The guard said. Aeogon reached for the pass Alpha Mingan gave him at the pack. 

“Here. It's my pass.” He said and handed it to the guard. The guard did a quick check and nodded. Aeogon happily walked into the palace with his horse.

Aeogon sniffed the air in the palace. It was his first time stepping into the palace after longing for decades. 

A man soon emerged and walked to Aeogon. “Alpha Mingan sent word that you'll be here today. I see you came very early.” The man said. 

“Erm, who are you?” Aeogon asked in confusion..

“Do not ask questions, just follow me.” The man said and walked off.
