Chapter 5

KAIROS'S POV

I smiled before walking out of the dormitory building. Once I stepped out, everyone's attention is on me. I was weirded out, but I know this is all because of what happened between Fixra and me. God probably open his big mouth and announced it to the world. The oh so familiar whispering to each other makes me wonder if they don't have anything to do with their own life.

"You're quite popular nowadays, huh?" I was shocked to see the dark elf suddenly appeared in front of me. "Hey, Gimiel. Want to join me? Fixra went to see her friend's first thing in the morning, so I'm going to go and see her now." She thinks for a second before agreeing. "Let me ask you an important question. May I?" I nodded. "Are you ready to have a war with the king of Gods?" Her question baffled me.

"Hmm... What do you mean?" I asked while walking down the stone stairs. "A vampire killed Fixra's grandfather, the current king's father. The whole family hates beast, like us. Not Fixra though, I can assure you that, but her family does. Can you handle the Gods and Goddesses wrath when they know about you?" Hold on, she's worried about me, isn't she?

I turned to face the elf's face and grinning like crazy. "What?" She asked while stepped on the last flight of stairs. "I can handle it. I am strong, you know. I'll do anything for her, my soulmate." She actually smiles. "Good. That's what I want to hear. Fixra is such a fragile Goddess. She gets hurt easily, so don't make her mad. But I know she's happy now since she found you."

"Are you two friends?" She nodded. "Tharos and my cousin Milno said it's impossible. But we're best friends. Secretly. Better protect my friend Kairos. If you don't want the whole army of dark elf attack you, better keep your promise." She warned me before excusing herself. "I'm going to teach Tharos a listen he won't forget. Fixra told me what he did to her."

I watched her go. "Kairos.." the soft voice I fell in love with calling for me.

When I turn, Fixra smiling face greeted me with Victoria standing behind her. I tilted my head and noticed a few bruises on Victoria's face. "What happen to you?" I asked the maid. "I am one of the servants who agreed on this relationship." She showed me the others who have the same bruise on their face. "Them too." I was shocked.

There's a few who doesn't hate me. I smile at them.

"Don't worry. I'll heal them later." Fixra said while fixing my jacket. "I'm sorry for leaving your room early in the morning. Victoria was calling for me." I waved it off. "It's fine. No big deal." Fixra rubbed my side and smile. "Did you have breakfast?" She asked. "Yea, in my room. You?" She shakes her head, and so does the others. "We can go to the banquet hall." Their expression change when I mention the banquet hall.

"Or I could call someone, and they will prepare your meal without having to go to the banquet hall." Their face lit up. "Can you do that?" I nodded at Fixra's question. "I can do anything. I am a Zadicus." I reached for my phone and make it happen for my queen. Piper authorised the user of the mini ballroom for this. I have to thank her later on.

"How is it possible for you to do all this? Did you buy us way in?" Victoria asked with her mouth full. For the servants to the goddess, they all eat like vultures. "My parents donate a hefty amount of money, and my mother is on the board." Fixra turns to me. "I thought only witches could do that." She stated. "My mother is the prime minister. She oversees everything. Including the royalty. So like I said, even we could go to your holy mountain. Without the ministry, there won't be any orders where you came from."

I said while wiping a little sauce from the mouth. "I can't believe there's someone who's even more badass than Fixra's father." Victoria finished her food and began to drink her drinks. I look around the others who are enjoying their time here without worrying about being attacked by the others who hated me. "Hey, Fixra. Do you need me to do something about the harassment?"

I feel sorry for the others for taking such bruising. "Tell me about your options." She said while feeding me her share of food. "I can do anything." I smile. She wipes the smudge from my lip and thinks for a second. "Are you sure you can do anything?" She asked to make sure. I nodded. Please, I'm a Zadicus. I can do anything. For a second there I noticed a sly smirk form on her face.

"Meet my parents and end this ridiculous hate between god's and beasts ."

I didn't expect that at all. "Is that your wish?" She slowly nods. "I'll make it happen. I'll do it. But you have to meet my family in return. Everyone can go." I refer to the other servants who supported our relationship. "You don't mind they came along?" My soulmate asked. "I don't mind. It is a party, after all. My mother will be happy."

Fixra leaned into Victoria as she tells her something. I look at the time, and it's almost time for me to meet the headmistress. "Hey.." I leaned to the goddess. "I have to go now. I'll meet you at lunch. I already told the chef to prepare some for you all." She nodded. "I won't be in class for the rest of the day." I stood up and placed both hands on her head. I kissed her head.

"For good luck." I chuckled. She blushed when her servants saw us. "Bye, beautiful." She smiled. "Please don't go too long." She said before I excuse myself. When I opened the door, I smile at Hugh and Aster. "Thank you for waiting for me." They both nodded. They followed me from behind as we went to the headmistress building. I'm not sure if this plan of ours will succeed or the other way around.

We need to make sure this new order will be accepted by her and the others. That's our goal for today's meeting.

"You may come in. The headmistress is waiting for you all." Said her assistant. We smiled and entered the headmistress office. Inside, Piper and Xavier were waiting together with the headmistress, the school councils and school board representative. We were about to take a seat when the president of the council threw the proposal we've prepared.

"This is bullshit." He said before facing the headmistress. "You want us to consider such bias plan? This is not Zadicus kingdom. This is Lavaria, the kingdom for witches, wizards and mages. He turned his attention to us. "Werewolves and vampires together just plain odd. Your kind has been in war since the moment you met each other. There's no room for you all in this kingdom."

"But their kind and the others keeping this academy alive. Don't forget that." He scoffed. "The council will never accept this atrocious plan. We will say no even this beasts insist." I hold Hugh down. "I want to make this happen without my parent's help. As you know, Griselda Zadicus is my mother and this proposal you just read is from one of her many ideas to make this world a better place for all kind of creatures."

I can feel his eyes putting holes in my face.

"I actually attended your mother's conference. It was such an eye-opening idea, but not everyone agreed on that bitch's opinion." That strike a nerve or two in my body. He just called my mom a bitch. "And I'm sure her DAUGHTER'S opinion is useless, like hers."

Control yourself Kairos. Don't kill him. Not just yet. "Well, this is why we... the students, wanted this meeting to happen. In front of the headmistress, the student council president and Vice President, the council member and of course, the school board, we wanted to show you what actually happens in this academy you all thought for witches, mages and wizards."

I nodded my head at Aster to showed them what we had prepared. Aster stood up and placed a picture in front of everyone. "This is what happens while you all sitting idly on your comfortable chair. The student is suffering, witches, other creatures alike. They all being judged for something they don't even do." I let them examine the pictures in front of them.

The council member tore the picture in front of me. "This is an act to deceive us. Do not believe in this picture." He wanted to be in denial. "This is not an act. This is fact, this is what happens as we speak right now. The students aren't happy here. Your... kind ... they BULLIED others." I end my speech while standing behind the president of the council.

"This is your daughter, am I right?" I pointed at one of the pictures. A young witch was being bullied right before I save her while investigating the school. "Your own daughter is the victim here. I wonder why? Probably because her father never accepted the new order that the ministry wanted to commence. Or simply he never wanted to accept others." I stated before I went back to my seat. "Don't worry. I save her. She's a pretty decent witch once she being friendly." I chuckled.

"So, my friend, the vampire finished her speech from A to Z. What will be the decision here?" Hugh asked for my sake. "Well, council member, school board? What say you?" The headmistress asked. "I agree with this idea. There's nothing wrong in trying new things. A new subject to teach, a new world to explore, everything will be provided by the ministry I presume?" I nodded my head at the school board representative question.

"Do not worry about that. The teachers and students would be brief by the ministry if you all agreed to have this new teaching plan in this academy." I assured them. "I don't have any problem." The school board representative said. We all turn to the council member for his approval. "I can't approve of this alone. I need everyone's approval."

"I don't think there's a problem. You're the president." I smiled at him. He scoffed. "Don't test me Kairos Zadicus." He thinks for a moment before sighing. "I won't like this... fine... But, on trial period. If something happens while this new teaching plan commencing in the academy, I will make sure your parents will receive a hefty amount of letter from my council stating of suing them."

He actually threatened me!

He stood up and went out of the headmistress office, followed by the school board representative. "I'll make sure the other board members will agree to this. It's actually a pretty amazing proposal. I am surprised a student came out with this." I patted Hugh and Aster on the shoulder. "Good job, man! A true alpha and Luna." He excuses himself, leaving us with the headmistress, president and VP.

"Kairos... is it true that you found your soulmate?" The headmistress asked. I think she's in her aunt mode because she didn't call me formally. "Yes, I did." I am grinning thinking of Fixra. "The goddess of lightning?" I nodded. "Good luck with that child." Suddenly I heard somebody snickering inside my head. I sound familiar to me. I ignore it for a moment. "Don't worry. I will do anything to protect her." Aunt primrose actually laughing.

"It's you who should be worried. You really don't know who's Lady Fixra really is?" She asked that makes me wonder. "No. Why do you ask?" Piper leaned into her mother. She was nodding her head and apologised to me. "Well, you will know soon enough. All I can say now is that, do not underestimate a goddess. Because she's a little weak now, doesn't mean she's weak. She's a goddess."

I nodded. I know what she meant by that. Fixra is a goddess, after all. She does have power, and she will use it when the time is right. "I received a call from your brother, Zaff, he said that the ship will at the dock by Thursday night. If you don't mind, we too want to catch a ride with you." I smile. "Sure. I don't mind. The ship is big enough for all of us."

I turn to my friends. "How about you? I'm sure your parents coming as well." I asked Hugh and Aster. "Well, we actually wanted to ask you if we could catch a ride as well." I nodded. "The more, the merrier." The headmistress stood up and asked us all to follow her to another room. This is where we discuss the new order of the academy and rules we need to consider.

Since the academy agreed on commencing the new ministry project, the students will have to obey another set of rules regarding the new subject, the human world. Mom thought that young creatures should be aware of everything, including the human world. Because of that, she's trying to make the new ministry a place where everyone can accept unique teaching and new things that yet to be explored.

She wants the creatures and human to be friends, employer and an employee, either way, they want everyone to live in harmony. I heard the school bell rang while we were discussing another matter at hands. I turned to the clock and asked for permission to leave. I promise my dear Fixra to meet her by then. The headmistress nodded her head and let me go. "I'll be back after lunch." I smiled before closing the door behind me.

I was about to go to the mini ballroom where they should be having their lunch when I saw Fixra standing in the garden, watching the mountains. I decided to sneakily walk up to her and wrapped my hands from behind. "Hey," I whispered. She leaned back to me while her hands on mine. "I miss you already. How's your meeting?" She asked.

"Went okay. Why are you here?" I asked. She didn't say anything as we feel the wind brushes against us. "I want to wait for you. Also, Tharos wanted to see me. He told my parents. They're furious." He did, huh. "Are you worried?" I asked as I kissed her head. She likes it when I do that. "I am. What if.. you... they will..." she seems to be having trouble in finishing the sentences.

"Nothing will happen to me. Don't worry." I assured her. "You don't understand. My brothers, they will come and seek for your head. I don't know what to do, Kairos." She legit worried about my life. "Listen to me. I am a vampire. I will not be killed easily. I promise to protect you with my life, and I shall. For as long as I live, I'll be there for you. So don't worry about me because I promise you I'll be fine."

We kissed. It's passionate, it's representing our love for each other. I love her even more now that I know she's mine forever. We were so engrossed in each other that when Victoria came to get us, we were too busy eating each other out. Victoria had to shout for us to make us stop. When we face her, she looks troubled. We both went to see her and ask what happen.

"Tharos happened. He, Hamon, Milno, Rosmann and Emack on their way here, to get the goddess back to him. He asked for their help." They wanted war from me?! Are they mental? I decided to grab Victoria by wrapping my arm around her neck and jumped with both Fixra and Victoria away from where we stood before an axe hit us. The familiar axe of the yeti.

"That was close!" I said when I released them. "Seriously, what kind of man asked for help to defeat a woman?" I joked before facing all of them. "With what do I owe the plea... " I didn't get to finished my question when Tharos use his weapon to strike at me. I manage to avoid before a fist connected to my face. My body was thrown from the impact. I stood up again and face them yet again.

This time there are a few bystanders decided to watch our brawl. "I don't want to fight," I said before Emack kicks me on the guts. "We want to fight you little bitch!" He yelled before stepping on my stomach. It took every bit of breath out just to bear the pain. "NO! DONT!" Fixra screamed while being hold by Victoria. "I'm fine," I assured her.

"FOCUS ON YOUR OPPONENT!" Rosmann said before slamming his axe on me. It was inches away from hitting my face before I rolled over to the left to avoid it. "DON'T HURT HER!" Fixra screamed again. "This is not a good idea, Tharos! She will lose it!" I heard Rosmann told Tharos. "Let her be! I want her to transform." Transform? What does he mean by ...

"FIXRA NO!" I heard Victoria yelled before a blinding light hits us all. I covered my eyes using my hands, and I have no idea what's happening right now.

"Yes! TRANSFORM! SHOW YOUR REAL SELF TO YOUR SO CALL SOULMATE!"

I heard Tharos screamed at the situation while laughing annoyingly. I listened to a screeching scream before one by one, my attacker begins to slump on the ground. Tharos was being hit as well, but he continues to laugh at the situation. At that moment, I knew why.

When my eyes landed on a single being that floated in front of me, I was baffled and surprised. Its Fixra herself in such divine form. She was avoiding eye contact while she faces me. We both heard some noise behind her, but she simply pushes her hand forward before Hamon was thrown away towards the pond at the garden. She didn't even have to touch him to hurt him!

I tried to touch her, but she moves away from me. "Don't! You'll burn if you try to touch her! Your not a holy being to begin with." Victoria warned me. I didn't let her words get to me. I try to touch her again. She moved again, but this time I show her my real intention. "It's okay," I said before leaning in.

At first, it's burning my flesh, but I ignore the pain and just try to grab her hand. When I manage to grab her hand, I pulled her into a hug and burned my whole body. I didn't let go until the pain is bearable.

"Don't worry. She's our soulmate. This will not be the death of us."

Again this voice in my head speaking to me. "Who are you?" I asked, mentally.

"I am you, you am I. We're one another. I am your inner self, the voice of you. Embrace her all you might, you're the first vampire than could tame a divine being. Be proud." This voice said.

"Kairos... am I hurting you?" When I open my eyes, Fixra was herself again. I looked around and saw Tharos, Emack, Milno, Rosmann and Hamon all passed out, laying on the ground. "You didn't." I smile at her. She didn't smile back as she looks down. "You saw me in my worst form, my flaw. How can I live with myself." She said. I lifted her chin. "Worst form? Oh, honey, all I see was such a beautiful divine being. I don't see any flaw in you."

She finally looks me in the eyes. "Are you being true?" I nodded. "Oh, Kairos... I love you." She said before kissing me on the lips. She just said she loves me.

On hold, did I just witness what Gimiel and the headmistress warning about Fixra?
