KYDAH's POV. . .

It's been a month since Paa told me about my arranged marriage to a mystery guy and a month since I've heard anything from Anwaar. Maybe he heard about her so called marriage and decide to disappear by himself. This is very heartbreaking wallahi. This feelings are all foreign and I feel like killing myself at the moment. I hate every single thing.

My conversation with Paa was as if I was talking to a stranger that day, it was like I was never a daddy's girl nor his princess...

"Princess," Paa called as I sat down on the carpeted floor in his living room with Ya Muhsin, Ya Habib, Amdaad and Mehr on the other side. Is this a family gathering or what?

I don't know why Paa called us saying he has something very important to say and we should all come here at once. This is strange tho!

"Yes Paa," I answered silently, afraid of bursting the angry bubble.

"I know I didn't ask you whether you have a suitor or not but I know you don't since you didn't talk about any," Paa started. I don't know where this is going but I'm having a bad feeling about this and it is not good. Hmmp

"But I have someone for you and the wedding is taking place in two month," Paa stated like it was the easiest thing to say.

"But Paa.. " I started but he cut me off as he usually does when there is no going back about his words.

"You have no say in this princess. You're getting married in the next two months and that's that!" Paa said emphasising each word for me to hear him clearly.

"But who's the guy Paa?" Ya Habib asked, throwing me a sympathetic look which I hated at the moment.

"There's no need for that, it won't change anything. Will it?" Paa asked almost rudely, as if he's talking about some business and not his princess.

I stood up and ran to our room... Closing the door behind me, I crashed on the bed.

"Why Paa, Why!" I shout out loud to the empty room and to myself.

Since from that day, I've locked myself in our room not going out even when they told me my best friends are here or Anwaar.

I open the door only when Mehr want to sleep at night or bring my food which I'll leave it untouched only eat the dessert which is mostly my best chocolate cake.

"Didi!" Mehr said knocking at the door, she thought it was locked again, I'm kind of over that bullshit now.

"Come in its opened," I said hoarsely, my voice is so groggy and I hate it.

"Maa asked for you," she said sitting on my bed next to me, keeping she distance like I'm a psycho.

"Where's she?" I ask, closing my eyes sleepily.

"Her room," she replied, still looking wary.

"This is the first time you talk in ages Didi,"she added embracing which is what I need right now. A sisters hug!

"We were all worried, Amdaad especially," she added again, seeping her head into my neck.

"Call him in please," I  said pulling away from her hug and sitting on the bed again. I feel weak.

"Sure"she said and sauntered out of the room to call my favorite sibling. I'm closed to him than to anyone else as he understands me better than anyone.

"Sis!" Amdaad yelled coming into the room hugging the hell out of my weak frame. This huge person.

"Can't breathe," I teased but he didn't live away, instead he tightened his hold.

"I missed you sooooooo much wallah!" he said emphasising the 'so' for me to understand how much he missed me.

"Same Amdaad," I said hugging him tightly!

"Why will you do this to yourself. See how you look pale and weak and slim even," he said sadly making me want to cry. Examining my body from head to toe with a head shake.

"Sorry my favorite sibling," I said kissing his cheek.

"So, how's Anwaar,"I ask the question that has been bugging me.

"Ya Muhsin told him what's happening. He said want to see you!" He verballed like he's hiding something but I didn't probe.

"Where's he?" I ask pulling away from him again.

"He's coming later!"

"Okay! Lemme go to Maa," I said standing up from the bed I collapsed on.

"Ok...I'll let you know when he's here and Ya Muhsin and Ya Habib are waiting for you downstairs." He said as we both amble out of the room.

"Tell them that I'm coming, lemme go see Maa first,"I mumbled quietly.

Why's life so cruel?!
