It's almost a year since Jake broke up with Kath Miller but he still loves her. Everytime I was with him he seemed distant to me and I hated that. We were lovers in secret but that's all. He couldn't hold my hands in public, he couldn't kiss me in front of his friends and he couldn't introduced me to his family. I was sick of this situation and I wanted to go out there to tell everyone that Jake Morris is my boyfriend.

We were in a hotel in Makati,Manila where we stayed there for three nights because he said that he needed me badly. I went there and accompany him but I thought we would be happy together but it's the opposite. He's always drinking at night and talked nonsense things about his ex girlfriend Kath. They seperated two years ago but he still talking about her over and over again. " Will you please shut up Jake! I'm your girlfriend now and you have to forget about her ",I told him. He looked at me while he was standing outside the balcony of the hotel. I was at the door almost crying for myself. He walked closer and pinned my neck on the wall. " You're not my girlfriend Anna! You choose to be with me even it's only about sex. You're crazy!",he said those hurtful words in front of my eyes. I quickly let go of the tears I've been holding inside my eyes. He pushed me on the bed and left me alone in the hotel room.

I stayed there and curled myself like a crying baby." You'll regret this Jake!",I told to myself after I heard the door closed behind me.

Jake pov

I was here in the hotel for three days with Anna Danes,the girl I had slept with and the reason why me and Kath broke up. I didn't know what am I doing for now. I'm started to think about my relationship to her wasn't love but it's only a lust. This whole set up was not good and it's time for me to end it. I didn't care if she was the daughter of the president or the emperor but my decision was final. While I was busy thinking on my future I heard a screamed from inside our room. I turned around and I saw Anna was there beside the door cursing my name and our status. It's better that she did this kind of a child scene because now I had my reasons to leave her. I walked over and grabbed her neck pushing her on the wall. " You're not my girlfriend okay. It's over now Anna! It's over !",I confessed what I felt for her. It wasn't my fault in the first place that we lasted for two years as lovers only. She's the one who made the choice. She chose to be my fucking body ,no feelings attached and just for fun but she broke it. She abide the rules and she thought what I felt for her is love. No! The only woman I loved was the woman I saw on a cosmetics company event four years ago. It was her first time working in Lee Beauty. I was mesmerized by her charm and simplicity. I never thought that she would like me but it was only memories now because I cheated on her. Now I'm having a hard time to fixed myself. I wanted to say sorry and I want her back in my life. I'm aware that I hurt her feelings and I betrayed her trust to me but I'll do anything for her to forgive me after waiting for her for almost two years.

I was driving and I don't know where am I going but I started to find the place I wanted to go. I decided to come over to her apartment near on this area. Maybe she was still awake and playing with our beloved pet named sky. I was outside her apartment and I'm about to pressed the bell button of her gate when I heard a male voice behind me. " Do you know it was late at night to knock on someone's house?",he said it near my ears. I turned around slowly to checked who was talking and lecturing me this hour. In front of me was a young man who was very familiar to me. He was Karl the Lee Beauty security guard. What a loser! " Oh Mr. Granada it's you I know you why are you here also?",I asked him wearing a smirked on my face. " I'm just passing by but I stop because I thought Ms.Miller could be in danger. I thought you're a robber", he told me and he got my nerves. I quickly landed a heavy punch on his face then he stumbled on the ground. I was about to make another blow when I heard a female voice behind me. " Jake what are you doing here? And who is this guy?",she asked me. Karl suddenly stood up and she saw him. " Karl why you two fighting each other outside my apartment?",she didn't loved the scene she saw. Kath was not in a mood to see us like this. I stayed quiet and three of us looked at each other in silence. What was happening right now? I felt the tension between us. Me,Karl and Kath. Is there something I didn't know between them or I'm just making things complicated?

Kath pov

I couldn't sleep tonight. After the incident on Karl's house and on the road I felt lost. He called me a mother and I'm a little embarrassed about it. Do I looked like his mother or same age of his mother? Am I too ugly or old to made him called me that? I hated him for being disrespectful especially to his boss. I should forget my feelings about him and continue my life as the CEO of Lee Beauty Cosmetics company.

I rose up from my bed to get a fresh air on my window when I heard a loud commotion outside my apartment. I looked down and saw Jake hitting someone. I quickly went outside to checked what was happening then I saw Karl on the ground. What are they doing outside my place at this late hour? I told them to go home and finished their fights anywhere but not in my place. " Before I called the police please both of you get out on my sight!", I told them.
