Bracelet.

Van POV

The next day, everything changed. The whole house is back to normal. No guests. Later, papa would leave to go to another land. I'm still here in my room even though I was called earlier for breakfast. I don't want to go down and see Von. I'm still mad at him. I took a deep breath and looked at the ceiling of my room, I was already hungry. But I didn’t want to go down because Von was there. I don’t want to see my good twin.

"VAN FLOYD VAUGHN!" I was overwhelmed when I heard Creed shout. I immediately ran out of my room. I quickly went down the stairs and ran to sit in my chair. It was different when Creed called me. Wrong to starve a Creed Vaughn. I just saw that I was what they were waiting for. They looked sharp at me so I bowed down. Annoying.

"You're still too VIP." Annoyed Leana said.

"Who said I'm going to eat, I'm not really hungry." I was right when I said that my stomach was full. Leana and Leona raised an eyebrow at me.

"Just a little." I added and glanced at my side. Oh, Von is not here. I grabbed my spoon and was about to take the food when Fin tapped my hand. I wrinkled my forehead.

"Why? I'm starving." I said.

"We're still waiting for someone, Van." Fin said and glared at me.

"Hayst, who initiated that wait?" I asked angrily and lowered my spoon.

"Sorry i took so long." we all look at the door. I saw Von and Cleopatra holding hands.

"Quite traffic on the road." My eyebrows rose when I saw Cleopatra clinging to Von's arm. Seriously, it's like just last night they said they didn't want to marry each other. And Von actually even picked up his fiancée.

"Pain in my eyes." I whispered, causing Fin to look at me. He raised an eyebrow at me and I did the same. I picked up my spoon.

"Thank God you two are here we can eat now." I said and took food first.

"Van, sit here next to Leana first." I looked at Papa at what he said then looked at the empty seat next to Leana. I turned my gaze back to papa.

"I really don't want to, this is my seat." I said and he didn't obey.

"Van." Dad called threateningly. I rolled my eyes.

"Papa, this is my seat so here I am." I said and looked at Von who was looking at me.
I glanced at Cleopatra with no emotion on her face.

"If you want, your guest or maybe your guest's fiancée will be the one to seat on that chair." I said. "Aphrodite has been taking away from me as well as my seat." I whispered.

"I'll sit down there." I smiled when I heard Von's voice. I saw him sit next to Leana while Cleopatra sat next to me. Dad sighed. I just quietly eat here while they talk nonsense like when they marry Von and Cleopatra. They really think  they're lovers, they no longer have chemistry with each other.

"Van, poor bread for you." I looked at Creed when he said that. I looked at the bread I was holding, which was already full. I took it down and took a sip.

"I'm full." I said and drank my coffee then stood up. I was about to leave when papa called me. I sat down again and looked at him.

"How are you and the person you're dating?" Dad asked. I fell silent. How are we? I looked at Von who was quietly eating, I turned my gaze back to papa waiting for my answer.

"I've stopped." I replied so they all looked at me.

"What? You stopped flirting with Aphrodite?" Leana asked. I just shrugged then leaned back in my chair and toyed with my spoon.

"Why?" Dad asked. I looked again at Von who couldn't look at me. I looked back at papa.

"She love someone." I replied and looked at Von again who was looking at me. The expression is blank.

"I still thought you guys were good together, I found out that you and Aphrodite dated last time." Leana said. I laughed.

"That's not Aphrodite." I said and simply looked at the person next to me. She could only look at her food.

"So, where is she now?" Creed asked.

"I don't know, maybe she'll go to the man she wants." I said and looked at Von.

"Isn't it, Von?" I asked. He looked up at me. Everyone fell silent as Von and I looked at each other. There was no emotion on his face but he knew he was pissed.

"How did you know she love someone?" Fin asked me. I shrugged.

"Last night I saw them kissing." I said and looked at Von who was looking at me.

"The hell? Who is that?" Leana asked. I laughed.

"Ask Von." I answered and put water in the glass. I looked at Von.

"Who is that Von?" I asked.

"You've stopped Van." There is an emphasis that Von says so my siblings are even quieter.

"I smell something doesn't nice here." Fin said.

"Did you fight?" Creed asked me.

"Ask Van." said Von so I laughed. "Too immature." He whispered.

"I'm ashamed of you, stealer." I said. He cringed at what I said and stood up in his seat. I also stood up so they all stood up and stopped us.

"I didn't stole her from you Van!" he annoyed said.

"Really? That's why you two are kissing." I said.

"Why don't you believe me ?!"

"Because you're incredible!" I shout.

"STOP!" Papa shouted angrily so we were stunned. We looked at dad's direction, he's massaging his head.

"You're embarrassed." Dad whispered and looked at me.

"What is this Van?" He asked. I laughed.

"It's embarrassing, only Von can embarrass Pa." I said and looked at Von. "He's getting married but he even been able to kiss others." I said while turning to look at him.

"She kissed me." He insisted.

"Aren't you really going to stop ?!" Dad shouted. I looked badly at Von. I removed Fin's grip on my arm and then stood up straight.

"Tell that to turtle." I said and turned away from them.

"Van Floyd Vaughn." Dad called me.

"I'm full." I said and went straight out of the house. I turned the road to go to the back of our house. I took a deep breath then looked at the sky. Dark, no sun. Sunlight does not go here in our house. I sat on the grass and calmed my emotions. I couldn't help myself again.

"It doesn't matter." I whispered as I thought about the scene of what I saw last night. I closed my eyes to hold back my tears. This is the first time I have fought my twin like that.

"You're really mad at your twin." I turned to the speaker. I saw Cleopatra turn her back on me as she looked at me. I returned my gaze to the front.

"Who wouldn't be angry with what I saw." I whispered. I felt her sit next to me and look at me.

"By the way, if I'm in your position, maybe it's too much pain for me." She said. "You'll just see how happy Aphrodite is with my aching chest, what if I see her lips pressed against yours." I turned around when I heard her whisper.

"Are you saying something?" I asked. She looked at me. She took something from her pocket.

"give me your hand." She said, frowning at me.

"For what?" I asked. She did not answer me, instead she took my left hand and wore a bracelet. I immediately felt the flow of strange energy as our skins came together.  I look at her as she wears the bracelet with the V pendant on me.

"What's this for?" I asked.

"Birthday gift." She replied and when she already put the bracelet in my hand she looked at me.

"Yesterday was my birthday." I said.

"I know." She replied. "Late birthday gift." She added. "Your birthday was too dramatic yesterday so I didn't give it to you." I took a deep breath and looked at the bracelet. I smiled.

"Am I the only one you gave it to?" I ask. She looked at me.

"Who else will I give it to?" She asked.

"Von." I replied. She just looked at me. "Maybe we're both--"

"I haven't given anything to Von." She said coldly and looked away. "Even myself." She added. I could just look at her.

"Why are you so unreadable?" I asked. She looked at me.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"I feel like you like me, but you say nothing. I feel like you don't like Von, but you say you like him. Then now you're giving me a bracelet while you're not giving anything to your fiancé." i said, Sh was silent as she turned to look at me.

"Is that what you think?" She asked.

"Yes." I answered and looked to the front.

"In that case, what you were thinking is right."
