Van POV

I stopped the my car at the parking lot of restaurant where I had reservation.
Aphrodite didn't speak the whole trip, which I found it weird. When I was with Aphrodite, I got used to her opening the conversation. She never runs out of topic. But now, she was quiet. Maybe she was just awkward so I just understood.

"We're here." I said and turned to her. She looked out the window and then the car door was about to open when I took her hand so she could look at me.

"I'll give you something." I said and handed the flowers and bear toy from behind then looked at her.

"My siblings give me advised what good to give to women." I said and handed it to her.

"Thank you." She said with a smile. I got out of the car and immediately turned around to open it. She came out and smiled at me.

I closed the car door then held out my hand to her.

"Let's go?" I asked. She looked at my hand and slowly you took it then smiled looking at me.

"Let's go." She said with a smile. We walked into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by the servers there and hoped to get to our table.

I smiled when I saw the romantic set up of the place. I turned to Aphrodite. She was smiling and it was obvious in her eyes that she was happy.

"Do you liked it?" I asked. She turned to me and nodded. I helped her sit in her chair then I sat in front of her. There's a romantic candle in the middle of our table, roses petals on the floor and red balloons. The venue is so romantic, pairing with the romantic music.

"Van, you don't need to do these things." She said. I shook.

"As I said, just let me love you." I said and smiled. She smiled at me hard.

"Aphrodite." I held out one of her hands laying on the table. "Thank you for agreeing to date us." I said. I could see how the joy in her eyes disappeared but she came back again.

"No, thank you for taking me to such a beautiful place." She said.

"Can we dance?" I asked. She nodded and stood up. I approached her, I put my hand on her waist, as she wrapped both hands around my neck.

We dance slowly. I stared into her eyes as we danced. I'm probably the luckiest man in the world because an Aphrodite agreed to date me.

"I feel so lucky today." I said while looking at her. She did not speak.

We have been in that position for a long time. Just quiet, no one speaks and feels the romantic music we hear.

"I love you, not for now but for always." I said and hugged her. Many ideas came to my mind. That what if, what if the man she wants also loves her? I don’t even know who the man she wants is. What if she just hurt because of that man?

"Van ..." she called in a trembling voice. I pulled away from her and looked at her, I saw how her tears dripped.

"Why are you crying?" I asked and wiped away her tears.

"I-I have something to tell you." She said while looking at me. I smiled to hide my nervousness.

"What's that?" I asked. Is she going to reject me again? Please don't. I enjoy the atmosphere here.

"No--"

What she was going to say was cut short when I put my finger in her mouth.

"Shh, if you were going to reject me again please don't. I'm still enjoying the atmosphere here. Just pretend that you like me too." I said and give her a small smile.

"No Van, I'm not--"

"Sir, here's your foods." We looked around at the waiter who was carrying trollies where our food was placed. I helped Aphrodite sit in her chair then I sat in my chair and looked at the food. I smiled and looked at Aphrodite thoughtfully.

"Are you alright?" I asked. She looked at me and stared at me for a long time then nodded.

"If you need something Sir, just ring this bell." The waiter smiled as he set the bell on the side. I nodded and looked back at Aphrodite.

"Let's eat?" I asked. She nodded and touched the cutlery. I noticed that she wasn’t very heavenly now. She seemed to be thinking of something. I tried to read her mind but I couldn't.

"How's your day by the way?" I asked, trying to put some hype.

She looked at me.

"It's fine." She said coldly. Suddenly I remembered Cleopatra. Maybe she was already infected with Cleopatra by the coldness of that woman's dealings.

"By the way, I didn't see Cleopatra today." I said and took a bite of the steak. I saw that she was stunned.

"Where is she?" I asked.

"Look, Van I have something to tell you." She said and held my hand. I could see in her eyes that she was remorseful.

"What is it?" I asked. And wiped my mouth with one hand.

"I am not---"

She stopped when my phone rang. I looked at the phone I'm on the edge.

I also looked who is calling. Von?

"I can cancel the call." I said but she shakes her head and letting go of my hand.

"Answer that." She said and ate. I nodded and picked up my phone then stood up and answered.

"Yow bro--"

[Where are you?] I frowned at his voice. He was obviously nervous.

"I'm with Aphrodite, we're dating." I said and glanced at Aphrodite who was looking dumb.

[Aphrodite?] He asked.

"Yes, why?"

[Bro, Aphrodite is here.] I was stunned.

"Huh?" I asked.

[Who is Aphrodite with you?] I turned to Aphrodite again. She turned to look at me. I didn't answer Von. I turned off the call then returned to the chair. It's normal. I seem to have heard nothing.

"What's that?" She asked.

I just looked at her. Impossible that Von was with Aphrodite. She's with me.

I stood up and approached her then kissed her on the lips. She pushed me and slapped me.

"Van what the fuck ?!" she shouted and was obviously surprised at what I did.

I looked at her.

"Who are you?" I asked. She was stunned and changed her expression.

"Van ..."

"I Said who are you ?!" I shouted. I'm trying to calm myself down but i can't. I don't know if I'm a toy or what.

She took a deep breath and in an instant she became a different woman.

"Cleopatra." I call. Her Golden hair in a bun turned black. I laughed.

"So all this time you're fooling me?" I asked laughing.

"No Van listen--"

"HOW DARE YOU ?!" I shouted, preventing my tears from falling.

She did not answer. It was obvious in his eyes that he was hurting.

"Why did you imitate Aphrodite? Is it because you envy her? Is it because you want something for me? Cleopatra, I trusted you." My tears flowed.

After all this time. Aphrodite wasn't with me.

"This is the best day in my life but then you ruined everything." I added.

"Van ... Let me explain."

"Explain for what Cleopatra? Will you lie just to excuse yourself?" I asked and shook my head.

"I wont, i will never listen to you again. You traitor." I said and passed her.
