Birthday

Van POV

Everyone is busy fixing up the whole house. Today is our birthday. For the past few days I have not seen him smile. He was just quiet and even colder than ice dealing with us. I'm already worried about him because even I have a different attitude towards him. Von and I will only have our birthday here at home because we don't want to have too expensive a party just to celebrate our birthday. We just want simplicity.

I remember, today Von's fiancée will also be introduced. So maybe he doesn't know much about it today. Back then, every time we had a birthday, he was even more excited than me, but now. It just seems like nothing to him. I'm already worried for my twin. Even our brothers and sisters are worried about him because of his treatment.
The other day, they almost punched Fin. Fin spilled the coffee that Von was drinking so it was thrown at him. Von's head suddenly heats up and he lurks to attack Fin. Fortunately, I was there to take him away. I noticed, Von's head was getting hot and turned into a fight. He wasn't like that before, it only started when papa said he was inarrage married.

"Have you given all your friends an Invitation yet?" Creed asked me. I looked at him and nodded.

"How about Von?" He sat down in front of me. I took a deep breath.

"I'll give it to his friend later." I said then put my hand on my head.

"Have you talked to your twin yet?" He asked. I shook.

“When I try, he leaves suddenly.” I said. He was silent.

"Where's Von?" Creed and I looked at the speaker. It's Fin.

"He's not in his room." I turned to him and immediately teleported to Von's room. I see that Von is no longer there. I was suddenly nervous. I immediately ran out of the room down the stairs.

"Nothing in the back either." Liana said.

"Not in the garden." Leona said. I closed my eyes because of nervous.

"Where is he going?" I said annoyed. Seriously, my twin's head is hardening.

I immediately went back to Von's room and took his clothes then smelled. Part of the power of our werewolves is the strong sense of smell. I just followed that smell until I landed on the roof of our house. I frowned when I saw Von sitting in the middle and looking at the setting sun. I took a deep breath and approached him. I sat next to him and looked at him. I saw how he wiped away his tears before looking at me.

"What are you doing here?" He asked coldly.

"I thought you ran away." I replied. I looked at what he was looking at.

"If it's possible why not." He said so I looked at him.

"Dad put electric force on my bracelet." He said so I looked at his bracelet. That's her favorite of all the bracelets.  I found out someone gave him that before we left Vampire High.

"When I try to leave, my bracelet releases electricity into my body which makes me weak," he said.

"Why don't you just remove the bracelet?" I asked. He shook his head.

"When I remove this, it was as if I had broken my promise to her." I could just look at him. What he says is hers. Which means he's referring to woman. Is that what he's waiting for?

"I don't want to be Vaughn Van." My chest tightened even more at what he said. "I feel like a criminal locked up in a cell for what dad is doing." Her tears flowed.

"I want to help you my twin." I said reason for him to look at me. "I will help you get out of this house but promise me that you will be safe when you leave this house." I said and looked to the front. "I have a property down town. It's in a secluded place. I'll give you the address later after the party." I said and looked at him. "Just promise that we will end this day happy my twin. It's our birthday today so we should just be happy." I said. He smiled. This is the first time I have seen my twin smile after a few days of his cold dealings with us.

"Have you invited Aphrodite yet?" He asked.

"Of course, I already sent an invitation to her house." I replied.

"Have you talked to her yet." He asked. I took a deep breath.

"Not yet." My answer. I haven't talked to her after what happened to Cleopatra and me. Speaking of Cleopatra.

"How about Cleopatra, have you given an Invitation yet?" He asked. He looked at me. I shook.

"I don't know her address." I said. "She hasn't shown up since I left her at the restaurant." I added.

"That probably made you angry." He joked. I fell silent.

"You know, take her with Aphrodite." I said and looked to the front. A few days passed, after I left her at the Restaurant. She still doesn't show up to me. I want to Talk to her to apologize but I don't know where her house is. I also don't want to ask Aphrodite because I also don't see Aphrodite. I wanted to ask Liana and Leona but they also didn't seem to know where Cleopatra's address. I don't know why but, there's a part of me that i want to see her. Maybe because I have a guilty conscience? But why was it different for me? Why do I seem to miss her that I don’t? I took a deep breath.

"That ice girl. She probably won't show it to me again." I said.

"Maybe she's with Aphrodite later." I turned to Von. Did he hear anything? "Did you miss her?" He asked laughing. I frowned and stood up.

"That's a disgusting question, Von." I said. He laughed and stood up. "Only Aphrodite can beat me." I said. I heard his laugh out loud. His question was disgusting.
