Alyia's POV. 

"You have three meetings to attend later, madame. Also, you have to visit the site. Remember the resort that's soon to rise? You have to visit it personally. As the board wishes.", Debbie said while holding her folder that states all of my schedule for today.

"Okay. You may go out.", I commanded her.

After a few seconds, I heard the sound of he door being closed. 

"Good morning, Cole.", it's Debbie's voice from outside. 

"Here's the steak, ma'am. And also, there's rice. I know that you haven't eaten yet. So, I'm sorry if you woke up and didn't found me by your side. I just bought you breakfast."

There comes his annoying face with a smirk again. Last night, he was acting like somebody else. Not like this. 

A weirdo. That's Cosmos for you. 

"It's okay and besides, I thought this day would be so peaceful but when I saw your face, I realized that bad days really exists.", I said as I get the food from his hand.

Tapping his shoulder, I smirked. Now, it was him who rolled his eyes. 

I stared at him, amazed. Argh! He looks so handsome doing that! 

That thought made me slap myself. No no no! He's so annoying! Right! That's the word to describe him! 

"Have you eaten?", I asked while eating. 

"Oh? Concerned?", he said while smiling widely. 

"Whatever.", that was the right word. 

He's back at his usual mood again and it made me smile. What is happening to me? Darn! I'm being a weirdo, too! Hell no! 

"To answer your question, I saw Ma'am Iya on my way to get you food so, I ate breakfast with her."

His answer made me raise my right brow. 

"What's with the face, ma'am? I see jealousy? Hmm?", he said while rubbing his chin. Acting like he's thinking. 

"You know, there's a job hunt in the next building. Ask them if they're looking for a weirdo. That job will perfectly fit for you.", I answered him with an annoying smile. 

You think you're just the one who knows how to annoy me? Let me show you that I'm better than you. I tilted my head and laughed at his face. 

"You're beautiful with that smile, ma'am. You should smile a lot.", he said that made me flinch and avoid his gaze. 

I felt a tingling sensation inside my stomach. 

No. They're not that 'butterflies in the stomach' that they're saying. I'm just hungry. Yeah. That's right. 

"Go and buy a drink.", I commanded without daring to look at his eyes. 

After a minute, I heard him walk out from my office. 

I sighed.

"You can get out now, ma'am.", I heard Cosmos' voice said those words. 

I opened the door of my car and wore my aviators. 

Cosmos offered his hand to assist me but I just ignored it. 

Walking towards the place, the sun is hitting my face. 

"Cosmos! Umbrella!", I shouted and after minutes the umbrella was protecting me rays of the sun. 

"Thank you.", I said and didn't wait for his response. I just walked around.

This place is beautiful. As I walk around, the big space is really fit for the 15 story building that's soon to rise here. 

The place has a good view. I'm sure that people will love to go here. 

I closed my eyes as I felt the wind passing by. The moment I opened my eyes, I was mesmerized by the view I've seen. 

Sunset. So beautiful. 

I just stayed here, looking at the sunsey. It made me smile. 

Galaxy and sky became special to me because of my mom. She's the one who influenced me to tell all of my problems to the sky if I can't tell it all to someone. 

"At least, I'm here with you now."

I heard a whisper beside me that made me look at the guy who is holding the umbrella for me. 

"What did you say?", I asked him as I raise my right brow. 

His brows raised too and his eyes were just staring at me like he's questioning my whole existence. 

"I didn't said anything, ma'am.", he answered me while shaking his head.

"Oh, maybe it's the umbrella who whispered just now.", I said and rolled my eyes. 

"I didn't know that you can hear non-living things talking, ma'am. Are you halucinating or you just have that talent?", he sounded amazed but I know it's just pure sarcasm. 

I walked away from him and heard him laugh. 

"You're so short-tempered, ma'am. It's funny.", he said while following me. 

He's still laughing and it's making me so irritated. I gave him a death glare before taking off my stilletos. 

The heat is hitting my face so I ran quickly and got in my car. I saw him with a confused look. That made me laugh. 

"You know what's more funny?", I shouted at him while he was walking towards me. 

I saw him run to me that made me laugh more. 

"This!", I said before driving away from him. 

I laughed so hard while driving away. I could feel sweat seeds dripping from my forehead because I was so happy imagining his face. That was so hilarious! 

When I arrived at the office, Debbie was so shocked when she saw me. 

"Madame, what happened to you?", she said with a worried tone of voice and a worried face. 

"Nothing.", I said while still laughing. 

I wore the pair of stilletos and wiped all the seeds of sweat from my face. Debbie looked at me like I'm the weirdest person that existed.

"What?", I asked her while still wiping my face using the towel on my hand. 

"You're so weird today, madame.", she said that made me stop from what I'm doing. 

I stopped laughing and told Debbie not to find or contact Cosmos. She and I knows that Cosmos don't have a cellphone. Both of us didn't know why. 

When I walked inside my office, my smile disappeared when I saw all of the papers that I gotta review and sign. 

"The board added some papers. They said that it's better that you review it yourself, madame. I'm sorry if it's so many. The board really is just missing your presence here.", she said with a awkward chuckle. 

I smiled at her but it's not like my smile earlier. I gotta do all of these since I don't have a freaking choice. 

"You may leave. I'll just call you when I need something."

Cosmos' POV. 

"Where am I? Alyia really did leave me! Damn!"

It's getting dark but I'm still here. Walking, trying to find the way back to the company. 

I'm not familiar with this place so I am seriously lost. And the fact that I don't have any device to contact Alyia. Damn.

The way that I'm walking to is now getting dark. This won't help me find the right path to take to come back to the company.

I walked a little farther. I was about to take a rest but my gaze caught a familiar person. 
Is that Debbie?

I saw the girl coming out from a building. Trying to read the lights on top of the building, I got so excited when I realized that I'm almost there. 

Running towards the building, I was sweating when I saw the bodyguard in the guard house. I just nodded and walked. At last! 

I walked to Alyia's office with a grumpy face. 

When I got in, I was about to shout at her for leaving me there but her sleeping face is the first thing I saw. My heart fluttered for a while. I was just staring at her peaceful sleeping face on her table. 

Deep inside me, I don't want to wake this angel face 'cause I'm sure that this will instantly turn into a demon. 

I saw a sofa adjacent her table so I got an idea. Trying to walk quietly towards her while taking off my jacket. When I got closer to her, I carried her carefully and put her into a more comfortable position on the sofa. I saw her move so I distanced myself. 

When she stopped moving, I smiled and covered my jacket around her. 

"Good night, ma'am.", I said and slept at the seat beside the sofa. 

Alyia's POV. 

"Ouch!", I exclaimed and held my head. 

I suddenly woke up because I felt like someone's banging my head. I closed my eyes when I felt the same pain again. 

"Ma'am, are you okay?", a voice asked me. 

Opening my eyes, I saw Cosmos' face so near at me so I slapped him. 

"Why would you do that?!", I exclaimed with an irritated voice. 

"I'm the one who should be asking you that, ma'am! Aww!", he said while caressing his cheeks. 

"You suprised me! You little dimwit-ah!", I suddenly felt another pain that made me lay down the sofa. 

"Ma'am, are you okay?", I heard Cosmos asked in a worried voice. 

"Do you think that I'm okay? At this situation?! You're not helping! Get away out of my face! You're just causing me to endure more headache!", I said as I kick him away from me. 

I turned my gaze to my wrist watch and saw that it was already 1 pm. 

"I'm running late! I have to go to the company! Why didn't you woke me up?!", I shouted at him. 

I was so shocked when I received a laugh as response from him. Brows furrowed, I stood up and realized that I was still at my office. 

"Your lunch is on the top of your table. I just gotta go and get you clothes from your condo. Debbie is busy so I'm the one responsible of taking care of you now, ma'am.", he said while smirking.

I turned my sight at my table and saw carbonara there. I felt a little hungry so I walked towards my table. 

"Enjoy your karma, ma'am. Oops! I mean, enjoy your meal!", Cosmos' voice shouted as he opened the door of my office. 

I took off one of my stilletos and threw it at him but it was too late, he already got out. 

"Whatever!", I shouted back at him and just heard a loud laugh. I smiled  and starts to eat the carbonara in front of me. 

Cosmos' POV. 

I'm about to go out from this building but then suddenly, I heard the heavy rain pouring outside so I took steps backwards. 

'I'll just go get an umbrella' , I said to myself. 

Holding a bag, I got in Alyia's condo and started to look for an umbrella. 

Minutes ago, I found one so I closed the door and walked towards the door. I went out with the bag and umbrella. 

Walking towards the parking lot, I played with the keys of the car. When I saw Alyia's car, I got in and started to drive to the company. 

Driving just took a few minutes. When I was about to drive to the parking lot, I saw a girl under the rain. I shrugged but after seconds, I got alarmed and drove back to the girl. 

I-is that A-alyia? 

Alyia's POV. 

As I look at the rain from my window, I suddenly teared up. I wiped the tear that escaped from my eyes and sighed. 

I was about to close my windows but I saw a familiar face. D-daddy? 

"It's just a storm. The sun will rise soon, baby.", a voice from my mind said. 

My feet felt like they're controlling me. The next thing I knew, I am under the rain already. Crying. 

I saw Daddy's face once again. I tried to reach it but failed. I cried and cried. W-why am I crying? 

D-daddy... 

I was tearing up under this heavy rain but when a familiar warmth embraced me, I just felt like I calmed down. 

I-i'm home. This feels like h-home.

"You're so stubborn." 

When I heard his voice, it felt like a cue. Countless tears fell from my eyes and it made me cry even more. 

"Hush. Everything will be alright. I'm here with you now.", he uttered that made me tighten the hug.
