Alyia's POV. 

I rolled again around my bed for the nth time. What he said made me thinking and I don't know why.

It's getting late but I can't sleep because of what he said. Darn. 

After hours of rolling around my bed, I decided to stand up and get a bottle of milk. 

'This should really help make me sleep', I said to myself. 

I passed by the dining area. Taking steps to the kitchen, I saw Cosmos' sleeping face. 

I found myself staring at him. I suddenly remembered what he said earrlier. It really went inside me. Argh! He's so annoying! 

The moment I got what I was supposed to get, I quickly ran to my room. 

Hours after, I already fallen asleep.

"Good morning, madame! It's monday! You should get going."

My eyes were half-closed when I heard Debbie's voice. She woke me up by calling me this early. 

I turned my gaze to the clock on my phone and saw that it is just 8:40 am. So early. 

"What? It's so early, Debbie. I didn't get enough sleep last night, you know.", I said with my sleepy voice. 

"Oh my! You forgot, madame? You said that you'll manage the company this week?", Debbie answered. 

I flinched because of what she said. Oh, right. 

"Okay. I'll get ready. Make sure you will be there. I don't know what happened there so you should update me.", I said and stood up. 

"Understood, madame!", she said before hanging up. 

Wearing my slippers, I went inside my bathroom and took a bath. 

Minutes after, I got contented by how I smell so I got off of the bathtub and wore my bathrobe. 

When I saw my reflection at the mirror in front of me, I was shocked. My eyes are swollen. 

Dang! I didn't get enough sleep because of that guy! Annoying! 

My face turned into a grumpy one while I was finding formal clothes to wear. 

I walked into my walk in closet and just got clothes which I first saw. A white slit sleeve as my top, paired with a black pencil skirt.

When I finished changing, I got out to find heels that goes well with my outfit.

Walking towards my mirror, I got my makeup bag. 

I don't like wearing heavy makeup when I'm going to work but this time, I have to. Unless, there would be issues about me rising again. Just because of my swollen eyes. 

Yes, it's just a simple thing but it will cause big time. Of course, I'm a celebrity. 

That thought made me roll my eyes. 

I started putting makeup but it just couldn't be concealed. My swollen eyes are still visible so even if I'm not in the mood for wearing sunglasses, but again I had to. 

Grabbing one of my sunglasses, I walked downstairs with my handbag. 

When I saw Cosmos at the kitchen, preparing our breakfast, I got annoyed again. Even his face is annoying. 

"Good morning, Ma'am!", his smiling face greeted me. 

I just nodded and turned my sight on the table. 

"Ma'am Iya told me that you're going to your company today so I decided to cook breakfast for you. I was about to knock on your door but I heard noises so I assumed that you are already awake.", he added while putting plates and utensils in front of me. 

"You're being close friends with them. I see.", I replied and took a bite from the bacon. 

"That sounded jealousy to me.", he said while smiling widely at me. 

"I just spoke what I was thinking. Don't take it seriously.", I said and rolled my eyes. 

"Don't be jealous, Ma'am. I'm just yours.", he said and winked at me. 

That caused me to cough because I spit out what I was eating. He chuckled at me and gave me a bottle of water. 

"Pack these foods! I'm just gonna eat these at the office! I'm running late. Hurry!", I shouted and turned my back at him. I felt like all of my redness went on my face. Darn! 

I heard him laughing that made me roll my eyes again.

He's. Just. So. Annoying.

"Good morning, ma'am.", the people inside the building greeted in unison. 

I just answered them with a sweet smile. 
As I walk towards my office, I saw Debbie approaching. 

"Good morning and welcome back, madame!", she shouted while running to me. 

Smiling, I greeted her good morning before asking for informations about the company while I was gone. 

"You just have five meetings today, madame. 10:00 am, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. You have a pile of files that you must review and sign on top of your table and that would be your schedule for today.", she said while looking at the folder she's holding. 

I nodded at her and told her that I can handle those. I also told her that I'll just call her when I need her. 

As she turned her back, she encountered Cosmos running to me. He was holding boxes and he was really sweating. 

I left him in the parking lot earlier because I can't stand seeing his annoying face. Debbie walked towards me again and gave me a suspicious smile. 

"Ma'am! You know that I got boxes but you just left me there!", Cosmos exclaimed while looking at me. 

Debbie pinched me slightly that made me look at her. 

"Who's this guy?", she whispered, making sure that I'm just the one who heard it. I rolled my eyes. 

"Cosmos, this is Debbie. She's my secretary. Debbie, this is Cosmos. He's my personal bodyguard.", I said while pointing at them both. 

"I didn't know that you had a really handsome bodyguard, madame.", Debbie said while smirking. 

I cringed at what she said. She's seeing Cosmos as handsome? Oh hell no. 

She offered her hand to Cosmos and he received it while smiling. 

"Okay. Enough. Go to your table now, Debbie. I'll just call you when I need anything.", I said while crossing my arms.

"Patience, Cosmos, okay? You have to be patient towards her. She's just so grumpy but believe me, she has a soft heart. Okay, bye.", she said that made me raise one of my brows. 

"I'll try, Ma'am Debbie!", he shouted while laughing. 

"Whatever.", that was the word that I utter before opening the door of my office and slammed it loudly.

"Cosmos, will you please hand me those papers on top of that table?", I said while pointing the table near him. 

He was just sitting on the sofa facing me. I saw him stood up and did what I told him. 

"Thanks.", I just said while looking at the papers I have to sign. 

"Madame, your last meeting will start 10 minutes from now. The board said that you must be at the meeting room now.", Debbie said on the phone. 

"Okay.", I said and stood up. 

I fixed myself first before taking steps out from my office. Cosmos did follow me. 

"This is your last meeting for this day, right? Ma'am?", I heard him whisper at me.

I nodded at him as a response while walking. 

"So, after this we can go out and grab dinner?"

I stopped when he said those words. 

"Are you asking me out for a date?", I said while raising my right brow. 

"If you're thinking it that way. Why not?", he said in a annoying voice. I saw him smirk that made me roll my eyes. 

Just how many times I rolled my eyes because of him? Countless times! I just continued walking and didn't mind him. 

When I got into the office, people bowed and quickly started. Cosmos was just at my back the whole time.

The meeting just discussed about the improvements of our projects this year. For the investors to know what their investments did. 

I was getting bored but I had no choice but to listen to the guy in front of me. 

"Any questions?", I asked when the guy finished reporting. 

"None? Okay, meeting adjourned.", I said closing the meeting and stood up. 

Cosmos is just following me quitely until we came back in my office. 

It just felt strange that he is quiet now. I looked at him but he is obviously spacing out so I didn't bother asking him. It's a good thing, though. I can have peace, at last. 

But after a few minutes, I was wrong.

"Ma'am, we should eat dinner." 

I didn't mind him. I just continued reading the papers in front of me. 

"Ma'am, it's getting late. I'll go get you dinner?"

Again, I didn't mind him. 

"Ma'am!", he shouted loudly that made me so irritated. 

"Can't you see that I'm working?! You're so annoying! Stop, okay? I won't die just by skipping one meal.", I shouted back at him with an irritated voice. 

"But it's not just one meal! You hadn't eaten your meal for lunch too! Just this once, I'm just asking you to eat your dinner.", he said in a sad voice that made me think that he just want me to eat but here I am, being the bad guy. 

I sighed before answering him. 

"Okay. I'll give you minutes. My time is limited. I have to finish all of these now. The board needs it tomorrow.", I whispered but I made sure that he'll hear it. 

I stood up and took my steps out of my office.
 
"There's a fast food chain near here, Ma'am. Is it fine?", he asked as he walked. 

I nodded and followed him quietly.

"Here's your order, Ma'am Vega. I'm a fan. Can I take a picture with you?", the guy who gave us our order said. 

I just nodded and the next thing I knew, he is already beside me holding a cellphone. I smiled and shaked hands with him. 

We've been stuck here for almost an hour. So many people recognized me as the celebrity that I am. I saw Cosmos' face darkened. 

"Still wanna grab dinner with me?", I said and raised my brow. 

"As long as you don't skip your meals on time, Ma'am.", he said and then gave me my order. 

Rolling my eyes, I started to eat but I felt something different. Something strange. Someone's looking at me and it's creepy. 

I turned my gaze around the place but I didn't found anyone looking at me. It's late and we're the only customer left. The manager just gave me extra time to eat because again, I am Alyia. The celebrity. 

When I looked at Cosmos, his brows are already furrowed. I mouthed "what?" at him but he just shook his head. 

I shrugged and continued to eat but the strange feeling really can't be removed. I really feel like someone really is looking at me. 

The whole dinner, I was just like that. 

"Ma'am, I'll just go to the comfort room.", he said before standing up. 

My gaze just remained staring at his back. Another weird man. Very weird. 

Cosmos' POV.

"Who are you and why are you following us?"

I didn't really go to the comfort room. This guy was following us since we got out from the office. I thought he was just one of those weird fans of Alyia but when he didn't stop, I knew that he has this strange aura. 

"Okay. I'm  sorry. I was only paid by someone to spy on Miss Alyia. Don't hurt me please.", he said with a scared voice. 

A weakling. I loosened my grip from his collar and gave him a sign that he's better to leave. 

The next thing I knew, he was running quickly away from me. 

Someone's planning something bad for you, Alyia. 

'You don't have to interfere, Cosmos', a voice inside my head said. 

"Your only mission is to be with her, Cosmos. I hope you don't forget that. Interfering with human's life isn't our thing.", a familiar voice said. 

I just nodded with frustration on my face. 

"I understand that clearly, my deity. I know my do's and dont's. Don't worry. I'll finish this task perfectly.", I said and started to take steps to Alyia.

Alyia's POV. 

"I was waiting for you for minutes already. The comfort room is just so near from here. What took you so long?", I exclaimed when I saw Cosmos walking towards me. 

I stared at his face for a while. What's with his face? He just got a lot of weirder.
 
"Let's go, Ma'am.", he said coldly and walked. 

I just followed him. Brows furrowed. This Cosmos now is weird. I shrugged. Well, he's always weird. What's new?
