7 months after the birthday party

Amy’s pov

Today I’ll turn 18. Maybe I'll find my mate Today. My father hopes that he will be an alpha from another pack and that will help to Keep the peace. Peter's father and mine hope that Peter is my mate. If he is, I’ll find out in two months but i hope he is not. Don't get me wrong i love Peter but as a friend. There's no spark between us at least not from my part.

I always wanted to love my mate because of who he is and not only because moon goddess made him for me. I wanted to be liked for my personality, someone who would cherish me and love me for who i am and not only because of the matting bond. I’ll hoped that I could met my mate and fall in love with him before we found out that we are mates. Ok I hoped that this someone would be Peter but he isn’t. He doesn’t have feeling for me and I don’t want to force feelings. 

I got of the bed, I washed my face and teeth, used the toilet and had a bath. Now I was looking for an outfit. I think red, that’s the color that Anton hates or I think he does cause every time I wear it he rolls his eyes. So red it is for today. I wore a red midi dress with white sneakers. It was spring so the weather was warm. 

I got down the stairs and Auntie had prepared a festive breakfast. Everyone was already there. "Happy birthday kido" uncle Said. "Hope you find your mate soon and if he's not good to you, he is as good as dead" he continued.

"If he isn't good to my daughter you won't get a chance to kill him, he will be already dead from my hands" my father said "happy birthday Princess" he continued giving me a kiss on the head. "Oh please, you old people, i am quicker than you, one tear from my little sister and he wouldn't even understand what got to him" my brother teased uncle and dad but he was dead serious. He hugged me saying "Happy birthday sis and if he is not good you tell me, they are too old for this kind of stuff".

Auntie took her turn hugging me "happy b-day sweetheart. I have a feeling that you will find him today and he will love you beyond imagination". "Thank you auntie i hope so too". I loved our family everyone was so carrying and we had fun together. Well almost everyone. 

Anton was irritated as always, he just coldly said "happy birthday".  That was it? Only happy birthday? Are we strangers or something? I Just rolled my eyes. I was sick with his attitude.

Auntie had made French toasts, pancakes, omelets, croissants and carrot cake. We usually have these many things at our table but most of the times gammas prepare our meals. Gammas are the lowest rank wolves. In some packs they are like slaves but in our pack they getting paid and we treat them with kindness. 

It was Saturday so we didn't have school. Peter and Katia entered to the kitchen cheering and wishing me happy birthday. "We wanted to be here for your transformation" Katia said. My brother had a big smile on his face and he was checking her out. Peter caught him and looked him in the eyes with annoyance. "What? You have a hot sister" my brother said standing up and going to her. He kissed her "good morning my beautiful girl" and she of course kissed him back blushing. They were so cute together and everyone could see that they were madly in love.

‘’You also have a hot sister’’ Peter teased only to have death glares pointing at him from all the males. Anton as soon as he heard it, stood up and he was holding him from the neck. ‘’leave him, he was just joking’’ my father ordered him. I knew that he only said it to mess with my brother as all of us did but I don’t know what got to Anton. I guess his usually temper with no reason. 

Anton didn’t leave him, he had a killer look and I was afraid for Peter. My father had to use his Alpha ton to make him comply ‘’leave him and sit down, he didn’t mean to disrespect anyone’’. 

Everyone was looking at them, I just touched Peter at his arm asking him if he was ok. ‘’I’m fine don’t worry’’ Peter reassured me but this time he was looking at Anton with hostility. This was unlike him, he was always nice even when Anton was an asshole to him. I think he had enough too. Anton got a sit again but he looked furious and ready to attack him again. 

"So, you two are an item now" Auntie asked Fabien and Katia in order to light up the mood again. "Pretty much" Katia said smiling "until we find our mates" she continued but the smile disappeared and she had a sorrow on her face. My brother took her hand to comfort her and she smiled lovingly at him. 

They are together for 7 months now and I never saw them happier. These two belong together. I am pretty sure they are gonna turn out to be mates, if not, moon goddess will be so cruel. 

Anton left after 5 minutes without saying anything but none of us comment on it. We already have learned not to ask him about his attitude, he never told as what was bothering him. Not even me or father and brother got mad at Peter’s comment, he had no right to attack him. He doesn’t even talk to me and now he wants to protect my honor that by the way doesn’t need protection. 

Anyway, we continued our breakfast laughing and having fun trying to forget the previous event. Today was my birthday and I would be damned if I let Antony ruined it.
