Amy’s pov

I asked him why he was here and his reply was ‘’Because you are my mate’’. This is the only reason he is here. Not because he is interest in me or because he wants to spent some time with me.  He is here because of the stupid mating bond. ‘’Right, not interested’’ i replied coldly covering my emotions. He was angry, cold and distant for a year so now he has to take a taste of his own medicine. 

He was looking at me like a lost puppy but I couldn’t retreat, I had to stand my ground. I had to remind myself that he was only here because of the bond. 

‘’Get out please and leave me alone’’ I said pointing at the door or at least where the door used to be before he broke it.  

He didn’t leave, he just stared in my eyes, so I blackmailed him ‘’either you leave or I reject you right now’’. ‘’No, you wouldn’t do that to us’’ he said being sure. So I began ‘’I Amy Heral of the Greenland pack –‘’ he cut me off saying ‘’ok I’m leaving, please stop’’ and he left with the head down. I wouldn’t really reject him at least not yet but I had to put him in his position and no letting him believe that I’ll accept him in an instant ignoring his previous behavior. 

After he left Katia showed up, she hugged me while I was purring my heart out. ‘’Ok enough you two will work it out, you had a crush at him since forever and now he is your mate. That’s a good thing.’’ Katia said trying to comfort me. ‘’You don’t understand, the only reason that he wants me is because I am his mate.’’  I stated as I kept crying. Katia swept away my tears with her fingers ‘’you are acting like a child, he is your mate you’ll work it out, end of the story’’.

Let’s get ready for the party. "Have you picked a dress?" Katia asked me cheerfully. "Yeah i did" I had picked a nice pink satin drees with a slit on the right leg. I decided to let my black hair loose. I applied light make up and i putted mascara. Katia wear a nice green dress matching her eyes and a red lipstick. She would take my brother's breath away for sure.

I wasn't in mood for a party but it was my birthday party so i had to go. We went down the stairs and indeed she took my brother's breath away. They were such a lovely couple. "Aww you look absolutely amazing" my brother complimented her with widen eyes and took her hand to go to dance. "Oh, you look good too sis and happy birthday again" he said turning his head as they were walking to the dance floor. 

Anton came closer "wanna dance?" My wolf stopped wining finally and she was screaming yes but my mind was saying no.  He understood my hesitation and he took my hand "Just one dance" he proposed. "No thank you, you were distant for so long now it's me who wants space" i said not looking at him and leaving. 

The party was full of people but not so many as at the boy’s party. Me turning sixteen wasn't such a big deal as an alpha turning sixteen.

Auntie came to talk to me. She hugged me and whispered at my ear "hunny i don't know what's going on with you two lately but i know that both of you are in love since you were five. So, give him and yourself a chance" and she walked away. Was she right? Was he in love with me? one year ago, i would have believed her but not now. How he could be in love with me and avoid me so long.

I had not eaten since the morning and I was starving. So i went to the buffet when i notice a girl speaking to Anton. He didn't seem interested and he was looking at me, but it was a good reminder that he whored around all this time and stopped only because his Wolf wasn't interested in them. He was with all those girls ignoring me even as a friend and now he has to be with me only because someone choose this for us? Not happening. 

When i was full Peter came to take me to dance. We were heading for the dance floor and a tango song was paying. It was a formal event and all of the high rank Wolves had learned since they were kids how to dance at formal events.

Before we could start Anton took my hand and pulled me up against him. " If you wanna dance, you dance with me" he said as we started moving. Peter left us probably not wanting to get between mates.  Our eyes were locked to each other and our bodies were collided making me feel tickles. My Wolf was Happy. " Oh, i thought you were busy with the girl right there" i said playfully pointing at her with my eyes. "Never busy when it comes to you" he said seductively. "Oh, but you were busy for me for more than a year and you also whored around so now it’s my turn" i stated and left him there.

I was going to my room but he followed me, he pushed me at the wall and he leant to kiss me but he looked me in the eyes before he kissed me passionate. It was my first kiss and I was nervous as our tongs played with each other. He broke the kiss looking me again deep in the eyes ‘’so do you still wanna whore around?’’ he said cockily with a smirk.  

‘’yeah I do’’ I said only to make his smirk disappear. As I was saying that he got furious and put his canines out going to mark me. ‘’If you forcingly mark me I’ll never gonna forgive you and you know that’’. He stopped and look me in the eyes again saying ‘’you are mine’’. I smiled saying ‘’we’ll see about that’’ and got out of there going back to the party.
