Part 3

As Bea stared at the dim lights of the bar, she can't help but imagine lewd things that Rose was currently doing inside. That Rose was dancing sexily in the bit of a Flirtatious music. Dancing daringly while the men's eyes feasts on her body.

But then, she immediately erased Rose's ugly images in her mind.

No. Rose can't do those things. What she was thinking was quite impossible because on her memory, Rose was more modest and self-conscious than she was. She even remembered that Rose didn't want to wear short clothes.

Bea shook her head and totally deflected away from all the ugly thoughts. Instead of thinking bad at her friend, she would just wait for Rose to come out.

Right. Only Rose could answer why she went inside the bar.

After sighing, Bea cranked to find a good place to wait for her friend. But to her surprise, she suddenly hit a hard chest of a man in her back.

She faced the man as she took a few steps away. "W-Who are you?" then she asked with a slight fear in her voice.

Instead of answering her, the guy boastfully shoved his hands into the pockets of his hoodie jacket and he simply gave her a nonchalant movement of shoulders.

Thereof, Bea's face began to turn pale. She already felt a danger towards the guy. She thought he might be a robber. "P-Please spare me. I h-have nothing to give you. I have no money."

"Tss!" The guy frowned. His lips twisted in an insulting manner. It was as if he were saying that she was like a fool for what she had said.

Bea's cheeks started to heat up with embarrassment. She knew her face was as red as a tomato right by now.

"Who are you then? What do you want?" Yet, she tried not to show her embarrassment. So what if he's not a robber? It's only right that she should be cautious, right?

"Relax. I just noticed that you're staring with that poster. Are you interested?" Finally the guy asked to her seriously.

It's okay if he didn't answer her question. What matters is that he has already spoken and showed that he is not a bad person.

"Huh?!" she reacted, slightly wondering. Not just because of the guy's question, but because of his manly voice. Her heart suddenly filled with excitement. And only now did she notice that the guy is incredibly handsome. That even though he seems arrogant, he knows how to carry himself. Actually, he looked like an Oppa of a K-Drama because he is tall with a slim figure. He had small face, V-shaped jaw, small lips, straight eyebrows, flawless skin, and large eyes. He is like a Korean Actor who is lost here in the Philippines. OMG!

The guy lengthened his snout. He seems to be saying that she needs to look behind.

And she did.

Bea's lips parted when she saw a hiring poster with 'WANTED WAITRESS' written in large bold letters.

She winced and scratched the back of her head. She now understood what the guy was talking about. Maybe he thought she was interested in the position.

"You go out here. Someone is interested in your hiring poster," said the man that she had heard.

When she looked back at the guy, he was talking to someone on his phone already.

Bea pouted. What the hell is he doing?!

"Okay." The guy ended up the call and put the phone in the pocket of his rugged jeans.

"Umm... S-Sir, it's not what---" Bea was about to tell the guy that he was wrong.

"Dude, what's up? I was just at the door when you called." But then suddenly, another guy came that interrupted what she was about to say. A guy which also undoubtedly handsome. Another Oppa. Phew!

Bea's eyes gleamed with admiration. What is going on? Is she here in Korea now without her noticing it? That's why there are so many Oppa in front of her?

"You have an applicant, dude," said the first guy to the guy who had just arrived.

Hearing that, Bea snapped back to attention. No, they are not Oppas. They are two crazy guys.

Bea's face looked really puzzled. Especially when the two guys look at her from head to toe and back in looking for each other.

"Shoot," said the second guy after looking at her swiftly, from head to foot.

"Wait. I'm not an app---" Bea would have wanted to correct the guys again with their wrong assumption about her.

"You're hired, miss. If you want, you can already start now. We're really lacking in staff now. We're urgently looking for more, actually," but the second guy cut her off again abruptly. "Let's go inside?" then he offered to her immediately.

"Um... W-Wait, sir..." Bea would have decided to say that she is not an applicant and will refuse the offer, but when she saw the first guy she had talked to earlier entering where Rose had entered, her mind suddenly change.

Isn't Rose inside? She wants to talk to Rose, right? Then, this is now her chance!

Bea's face lit with an instantly sheer excitement. She couldn't wait to catch up with Rose.

"Something wrong?" the second guy asked her, maybe he noticed she was stunned for a moment.

Bea pursed her lips. She couldn't say anything right away. What will she do? How's this? Because even though she was from the province, she was not that stupid as she doesn't know what was happening inside that door. Of course, she knew there were some unpleasant things going on. She knew that many 'miracles' were happening inside.

"Don't worry, you will do nothing but work as a waitress. You will only take and serve customers' orders. Nothing more, nothing less." But because of the guy's explanation, her doubts were somewhat lost.

Bea chewed her upper lip, deep in thought for a moment, then gave the guy a vague smile.

Okay. She will try this job even just for tonight, so she could talk to her old friend already. She now wants to know the answer if what is Rose is doing in this kind of place. She wants to know the truth and hopefully she is thinking the wrong thing.

"Let's go inside?" The guy invites her again after he smiled back at her. "You know, lots of customers were inside now. You're really a big help tonight if you will not change your mind."

Bea gave one sharp nod of agreement. "Okay, sir, we better go inside so that I can start my new work right away. Thank you for accepting me," and she said as if she was meant for it.

The guy smiled at her, showing genuine gratitude. "No problem. By the way do you have a CV or resume?"

"Um.. None, sir, but I can bring them tomorrow." Bea raised the paper bag she was holding. "The truth is I'm just taking a stroll today. A little shopping to pamper myself, you know."

"I see. Well, maybe today is your lucky day because as you go strolling you also find a job. Awesome, isn't it?"

"Yeah. Maybe you're right, sir."

The guy slightly laughed and then extended his hand for a handshake. "Anyway, I'm Rexon Yanez. You are?"

Rexon Yanez? What a unique name?! It suits him right, Bea thought.

And then she also remembered the guy earlier. What's his name too?

Oh well, it doesn't matter. There's no need for her to know. As if that guy was also interested in her name? Impossible.

"Bea, sir. I'm Bea Ladezma." Bea reached out and took the guy's hand.

"Nice meeting you, Bea. I hope you will like our place," Rexon said which caught her attention.

Bea managed to smile politely at Rexon despite arguing with herself. Why the hell is she more interested in the other guy's name? Ugh!

Another warming smile. "Come on," and Rexon began to walk toward the bar's door.

"Sir, are you the owner of this bar?" Bea asked Rexon loudly as she follows him because the wild music immediately met them.

"Nope," Rexon replied, popping the 'P'. "I'm just managing this bar. Four of my closest friends own this," and he answered soberly when he quickly glanced at her.

"I see," her only comment.

But that made Rexon laugh.

Bea pouted. "Why are you laughing, sir?" she asked out of curiosity.

"Nothing. I'm sorry," said Rexon, suppressing his laugh.

He's weird, Bea thought.

A few steps further, the inside of the bar was already exposed to Bea's eyes. And she was stunned speechless, taking in everything around her as if in disbelief.

So, this is how the bar looks like in real life? A place which is elegant with a vibrant decor, but yet somehow smoky and noisy. Then lots of drunk bitches and jerks, flirting with each other. And a dancer on stage coiling in the pole wearing only two piece bikini. Holy cow!

Bea puts her hand over her mouth. She can't help but gagged with sudden disturbance.

"You okay?" Rexon asked her, full of concern.

She hugged herself before she nodded. "I.. I just felt a little uncomfortable, sir, but I'm fine," and she responded honestly.

"Don't you worry. You'll get used to it," Rexon told her and gave her a tap on her back.

When she glanced at Rexon, because she was being touched by what he had done, she saw that he was scanning his gaze around. Rexon seemed to be searching for someone, so she didn't speak anymore. Instead, she just also roamed her gaze even though she didn't like what she was seeing. She searched for Rose. But what she did find was the guy she first met earlier and...

And he's staring at her as he drank wine wine. Geez!

Bea's cheeks automatically heat up. Until she realized that she was already blushing like a tongue-tied school girl.

The worrying thing is, she didn't want to take her eyes off the guy anymore. In fact, she really likes the feeling as if they are the only one's inside that crowded, smoke-field bar. It's making her shudder, giving her butterflies in her stomach. Ayiee!

"Rose!" Suddenly, Rexon's loud voice that brought her back to consciousness.

Bea diverted her gaze at Rexon and then to what he called Rose. And she felt excited abruptly when she confirmed that it was Rose, her friend.

She secretly smiled at Rose but then gradually vanished when she clearly saw that Rose's face had creased instead of smiling back. Rose didn't seem happy to see her, the exact opposite of what she expected.

Bea swallowed the heaviness in her throat. Hopefully, Rose hasn't got mad at her because she forced to get in here. God knows, she just wants to talk to her because she misses her so much, nothing else.

"Yes, Boss R?" But Rose didn't even notice her when she approached them. No doubt, she's mad.

Bea bit her lower lip and just bowed her head. What did she do wrong?

"Rose, this is Bea. Our new waitress. Please guide her and bring her to Mother S. Tell them that they need to guide and train her," Rexon ordered Rose.

"Okay, Boss R," Rose replied warmly and then looked at her with a wide smile. Suddenly, Rose's mood changed. As if she had a double personality. "Welcome to the group, Bea. Don't worry, we are all kind and the work here is easy."

"T-Thanks, R-Rose." Even though she was uncomfortable she just also pretended that she didn't know Rose. Because obviously this is what Rose wanted, to pretend they don't know each other. If why, she didn't care anymore. She was no longer interested in knowing. What she had discovered was enough. She accepted already that Rose was now very different from the Rose, whom she used to befriend with.

"Come on. Follow me," Rose invited her in and went ahead.

Though hesitant, Bea eventually followed Rose. All of her excitement to talk to Rose has disappeared like a bubble. She was hurt by her behavior. First, she ran away and now she's not happy to see her. She is no longer the Rose she once knew.

It seems that another gossip in the province seems to be true, that when you go to Manila your attitude may change. You can be a better person, but you can also be a bad person.

Meanwhile, Rexon also took a few steps as Rose and Bea goes to the bar kitchen. Hands in his pocket, he walked toward Owell Esmeria, one of the owners of the PEGASUS MEN'S BAR.

"What was that again, dude?" and he asked right away as he sat in front of his friend. He has been a friend of Owell since childhood, so he is comfortable with him, even though he is one of his bosses.

Before responding, Owell bottoms up the drink in his shot glass. "Just get her here and never get her near at the dance floor. Always remember that she's just a waitress here, okay?" he said, making it an order.

Rexon sucked in a lungful of air and shook his head because he knew right away what his dumb friend was planning, but he could do nothing in his command as a boss. "Okay. But when Lucy found out about this. Don't you dare to tell me that I am tolerating you."

"You're so noisy." Owell handed the shot glass to Rexon. "Have a shot. Let's celebrate this night, dude."...
