CHAPTER NINE

Rakshit was staring at the sky, feeling the cool breeze kissing all over his exposed skin while enjoying himself in the beauty of Indian nature. He just felt like he came to India for the first time ever in his life. Everything around him seemed new. Actually it's the first time he came to India after he lost his memory.

Rakshit wanted to go back to his home in Mathura, but his mother didn't agree with his decision. He knew that something was his mother hiding from him that didn't let her go back to her own home. So she decided to stay in Agra, one of the Oberoi's guesthouses. He was not happy with this arrangement, but he had to.

Finally, Rakshit came to India as he wished; at least that everybody believed. But it's his determination to come back to India to find his real soul; the real Rakshit Randhawa. There were some solid reasons behind his intention. Most importantly he wanted to know who he really was. He began to doubt the persons who were masking their emotions when it came to his past life. They always tried to make him the perfect image of a man. Little did he know that, or he could feel that he was someone who nobody wanted to talk about. Therefore, this returning was not only meant for his marriage but also to find himself.

After listing the things he had to do here, he looked up to the beautiful moon. As if he had remembered something, he fished out his phone from his pants pocket. He glanced at the beautiful face of her.

It's his dream girl's picture.

Shaurya believed that he had destroyed the picture by tearing into pieces. But he was unaware that his friend had already captured her on his phone.

Rakshit was staring at her like he was talking to her through his eyes. Day by day he was crushing on her just looking at her face. He knew that it's not right to fancify another girl when he was already engaged. But it's his mind trailing behind her. Whatever he just loves the feeling. He wanted to feel this throughout his life.

Rakshit whispered, “Where are you?

Today Rakshit and Aradhika paid a visit to the Oberoi mansion as per Vikram's special invitation. Vikram and his family were very glad to have them here as their guests, why not; they're going to be a family soon.

“Nandhini!” Ojaswani called their maid.

Nandhini was a 50 years old woman who was working here for a longtime, and she was one of the trusted servants they had. So they considered her as a family member.

“He's Rakshit, our Rini's fiancé. And that's his mother Aradhika Randhawa.” Ojaswani introduced them to her. She greeted them so did they.

“Aradhika, she is Nandhini. Our head chef. Though she is a servant, we considered her one of us.” Ojaswani said.

Rakshit looked up to the old woman who was grinning ear to ear. He was surprised to hear the words from this family. The high class family just took a servant as their family.

Unbelievable.

In the meanwhile Anuradha was walking towards the place where they're sitting by carrying tea for them. They're all chatting to each other, nobody was paying any attention to the little maid who was aiming towards them. Even Rakshit was too busy with Rinisha when his dream girl was just a few feet away from him. Their destiny was playing in the air without even realizing themselves. Just as Anuradha was going to serve them, Nandhini turned over to her and took the tea from her.

As if her wave of spell, instantly Rakshit looked straight into her direction. But her slender figure was perfectly blocked by the fatty old woman; Nandhini. If she hadn't stopped her now, then he could have seen her; alive as he wished.

It seemed that destiny had other plans for them. Maybe it's not the right time for their meeting. Two different souls like two opposite poles. Here he was dying to see her at least once while she was hiding from her own life just to stay away from his presence.

Anyways destiny brought them together under a roof.

Anuradha walked away not serving tea. And she was thankful to Nandhini for taking the charge. Anyway, she didn't want to face the rich people.

Rakshit excused himself from Rinisha's hold and came out from the mansion to get some peaceful air. Rinisha was giving him a tour of the mansion and took him to her bedroom. There she had shown him her antics collection and her childhood photos as well as some of her jewelry.

Rinisha was very happy to show him her precious collection while Rakshit was least interested in seeing her personal things. Somehow he managed to escape from that boredom. First she offered her company to show around the outside of the mansion, but he rejected her offer sweetly.

Rakshit was wandering around the mansion for a few minutes. He was mesmerized by the architectural excellence. The Oberoi mansion was a real masterpiece and much worthy to see. He didn't know where he was going. His legs were stretching out to somewhere as he was looking for a treasure.

Just as he entered the garden a ball rolled on the ground towards him. He picked up the ball in his hand and looked around to know where it had come from. He had not seen anybody there. Without dropping the ball there, he decided to continue. Before he could walk forward, a voice stopped him.

“That's my ball!

Rakshit turned around and looked down at the little voice.

“It was Vedant!

“That's my ball!” Vedant extended his hand, “Give me! I want to play.

Rakshit was looked down at by the cutest boy he had ever seen. He could feel that naughty vibes from this little boy as he was looking to him in a daring manner. Anyways, it's going to be quite adventurous when you have to deal with little monsters.

“Hey come here little champ!” Vedant hesitantly walked towards him. Rakshit crossed his hands, “I haven't seen you before. Who are you?
