CHAPTER SIX

Here two families having their lunch together in Rakshit's home. It seemed like the wedding discussions really went on. At the head of the table, Vikram Oberoi was sitting and his one side was Ojaswani Oberoi and the other side was Aradhika Randhawa. And their adjacent seats were occupied by their sons. And last but not the least Rinisha was sitting close to Rakshit, always touching.

“Aradhika, do you have any objection about the marriage date?” Vikram asked. Vikram Oberoi was a friend of Rakshit's father. After his father had died, Vikram had helped them to bring up their business as well as family. Now he had owned most of the company's share.

“No, bhai. I am very much happy about it. In fact, I want to see my son get married soon.” Aradhika said. She wanted to see him get married as soon as possible. It's her biggest dream ever.

“Well, it's fixed.” Vikram finalized his daughter's wedding date. Rinisha couldn't be even more happy than this. Two months later, Rakshit would be hers forever. She nudged him with the sweetest smile she had.

“Just two months! Oh my god! How we will do everything so fast. A lot of things are still pending.” Ojaswani worried.

“Don't worry, mom. I will take care of everything.” Raunak assured.

Vikram smiled at his wife, “our son will take care of everything.

“Dad, I will contact today the best event management company in this country. And I will make sure my sister's wedding will be the---” Suddenly, Rakshit interrupted him.

“Uncle, I have an opinion.

Five pairs of eyes instantly focused on him. What he wanted to talk about his marriage. It's the first time he had said that he had an opinion of this marriage. Or his mother would be the one who always took decisions over everything.

“Yes,” Vikram allowed him to continue.

Before going to reply, he peeked up to his mother, “I wish to get married in India.” His mother looked at him, shockingly. She knew exactly why he wished to get married in India. It's actually not for his marriage, it's for his past life. He badly wanted to go back and find out what he was.

Rinisha asked confused, “what for India? London is the best. Or if you want, we could choose any other place. But, India... I don't think it's a good idea.

“She's right, Rakshit.” Raunak agreed with his sister. “India is not a good choice.

“No, Raunak. It's his wish to get married in India. Maybe he has his reasons, right?” Vikram asked.

“Yes, uncle. I have...” Rakshit felt a little happy as someone understood him.

“First of all, it's our country. I don't even remember when I was there. And our family members and friends are living there. If we go back to India, it will be a great get together for all of us.” He waited for Vikram's reply, but Raunak peeped in.

“We could call them here and arrange a grant wedding. We don't have to go back.

Rakshit wanted to punch him for always delaying his plans. He hopefully looked at Vikram Oberoi, he could feel that he was not convinced with his idea, so he continued.

“Uncle, just think about it. If we held our wedding in India, the whole country would talk about the wedding. It will be the greatest wedding in India ever. Whatever, we are secondary people here, so...

Vikram thought for a minute, in the meanwhile his mother, Aradhika asked him. “Why do you want to go back?” The mother and son acknowledged the hidden meaning behind the question.

Rakshit replied, without any hesitation. “To get married.

Just as she was going to say something, Vikram made his decision.

“As you wish, Rakshit. Your marriage will be held in India.

Finally, after six long years, Rakshit was going back to his land where he could get the real Rakshit Randhawa.

“Beautiful!” Rakshit stated as he took a detailed view of the suit room.

Rinisha had dragged him to her hotel after having their lunch. She had been planning this for a longtime as she wanted to spend quality time with him alone. Now she got it. She wouldn't lose the chance.

“You like it!” She beamed. She had arranged everything for their romantic moment.

“Yeah, the interior designs are beautiful.

“What? Interior design?” Rinisha wanted to smack his head for his stupidity. “Don't you see the flowers, candles and other romantic stuff.

“Who told you these are romantic stuff?” Rakshit sat on the plush bed. He really wanted to take a nap, he could feel his body completely eaten by tiredness.

“Of course, they are.” Rinisha sat beside him and intertwined their fingers, “you know I have a lot of dating history. So I am right.

“Maybe, but for me romance is something, we should experience each other with their presence. It should naturally happen, not created like this. It's a feeling we want to cherish within our heart.” Rakshit's concept of love didn't like her at all.

She suddenly jumped onto his lap and wrapped her hands around his neck, “now stop your philosophy. And experience our love...” Just as about to kiss him, he pushed her away and got up.

“I told you we could wait for our wedding night. Then, why did this hurry?” Rakshit hated her flirtatious ways.

“What are you? Don't you have any feelings for me. Do you even remember when we kissed last time? One month and three days.” Rinisha sneered.

Rakshit replied to himself, “I don't even remember myself.

“I have been waiting for this moment, just you and me.” Rinisha brought her hands up to touch his face.

“I love you, Rakshit. I love you so much.” She sealed her lips onto his. At first, he didn't respond as he got startled by her sudden move. Later he began to kiss her with the same intensity. After all, she was his fiancée and he couldn't ignore her feelings anymore. But the hottest moment didn't last long as he pulled away from her.

“Rakshit, what's wrong?” Rinisha yelled.

Rakshit looked at her, flabbergasted. When they were kissing, his mind travelled to the dream with a quick pace. Where he kissed the girl with so much love and passion. He wanted to devour her all night. He could feel her luscious lips against him as it had originally happened. But here, full of possession, nothing felt like it. Even if he tried to make her happy, kissed her back while imaging his unknown beauty in his mind. As a thunderbolt, something had passed into his memory. Suddenly he had taken aback with the waves in his head.

He couldn't understand what was happening to him. He clenched his head in pain.

“Aahhhh...” Rakshit screamed. He kneeled down and held his head tightly as it would break the very next second.

Rinisha was scared, “Rakshit, what's wrong?” She sat next to him and grabbed his hands. “You're scaring me, Rakshit. Please say what happened.

Rakshit couldn't keep himself steady as he slowly fainted to the floor due to the sudden rush over to him. Before he completely lost himself, he had said. “Scre--Screaming--she--she is screaming.
