The First Day

Hello Everyone! Sorry for the very long wait for a new update. I will try to update this story every 2 days, but even if I can't, I won't make you guys wait that long again. Also, Thank you to everyone who read my book and supported me through this journey. Many more to come! Love you guys:)

Nicholas POV:

"Nick!" I heard somebody say somewhere.

"Nicky, wake the hell up!" Someone else yelled to me.

Waking up, I noticed that I was still at Justin's house.

Last night I was supposed to go back home, but instead I crashed here after getting wasted.

Such a dumb thing to do the day before college starts again.

Fuck! Today is the first day back.

"What time is it?" I asked Justin.

"You should leave and head back to your crib if you don't wanna be late." He told me, not even answering my question.

"Yea I know that, but what's the actual time?" I asked again.

"The first day starts in an hour," Caleb replied.

Slightly annoyed by their answers, the only thing I said back was 'Whatever'.

"You should leave and get ready. You look wasted" Caleb told me.

"I am wasted" I replied to his dumb statement.

"Dude, you're so bitter when you're drunk" Andrew laughed.

"I need to go," I told them all.

"See ya Nick!" Justin yelled.

Leaving Justin's house, I made my way towards mine.

I had a slight headache because of my hangover, and I looked a mess.

Once I arrived, I went straight to the bathroom, and took another shower.

I wore a simple black long sleeve henley shirt with a matching pair of denim jeans.

Once again, I left my apartment and this time I headed towards campus.

Madison POV:

This morning, I woke up to the sunlight in my eyes.

The sun was shining bright through the room, even though I closed the curtains.

Sitting up, I looked at my alarm. I widened my eyes when I saw the time.

It was later than I expected to wake up, but I had enough time to get ready.

Today is the first day of college, welcoming newcomers and welcoming back the ones who already attend. I am officially a college student! I thought, and with this, I smiled to myself while getting out of bed.

I walked to the bathroom and did what I do everyday.

I put a robe on and walked out of the bathroom, towards the closet I put my clothes in.

My style of clothing was good I guess, and I have good clothes, but I am so unsure of what I want to wear today.

Yesterday, when I went viewing the city and shopping, I bought a few new clothes for myself.

I decided on a brown long sleeve shirred crop top, with a pair of white pants. Not my best work, but it's fine for today.

On the way to campus, I received a message from my mother.

Mom: Have a wonderful first day dear, kisses Mom:)

Me: I hope I have one too, kisses back:)

My anxiety kicked in the moment I arrived.

There were so many students around. Some of them were on the phone, some rushing to get somewhere, some talking and playing with their friends, and some looked lost. I'd say the lost ones were new like me, or maybe lonely?

I walked towards the lockers, and unlocked the one that was for me. I added some books that I didn't need to use at the moment in my locker, as well as a photo of me with my family.

I really do miss them a lot and it hasn't even been a week yet since I have left home for college.

After putting my books and photo in the locker, I shut and locked it back. There was some information to help me with getting to each and everyone of my college courses and classes.

My first class was English language and literature, and it was too hard to find. Yesterday helped me a lot for today. I walked into the class along with a few others, while some were already seated.

The class wasn't to start until another few minutes, giving us all time to settle down. Most of the students in the class were steadily talking, and they obviously didn't know how to talk quietly.

Most of the seats in the front were taken, so I chose a seat that was close to the front. It didn't really matter where I sat, I wasn't a nerd or anything, but I preferred the front than the back.

The reason for this is because you'd find most of the dumbasses or students who prefer to play than learn in the back.

You'd find more of the students who want to learn in the front, and I was one of them. Afterall, that's my reasoning for being in college.

To learn, not to play and waste time. I'd rather be a smartass or a nerd any day before being a dumbass or what the popular kids call "Cool".

Their definition of cool is partying, along with drinking, hooking up, and chilling all day. These were things I wasn't raised up to do or be.

I have been to a few parties, but I haven't been back to one since a random drunk girl puked all over me. Just thinking back at that makes me feel sick to my stomach. Eww, gross!

A few moments later, a man who looked in their late 30's had walked in. I assume he's the teacher/professor hence he looks too old to be a college student here.

I was right after all when he introduced himself to the class.

"Good Morning students, I am Mr. Charles and I will be your professor for this semester. I have been a college professor for over 3 years and I have a lot of academic knowledge to share with you lovely students! I only ask you to try your best in my class and give me your undivided attention. This way, we can get to know each other and you can learn all the information and knowledge you will need to graduate, as well as use in life." He introduced himself and told us with a big smile.

Freshman year might be good. I think today is going off with a great start, and I can't help but be excited for college this year.

Most of my anxiety has left me, and has been replaced with happiness. With these thoughts, I smiled to myself.

Nicholas POV:

The moment I got on campus, getting out of my car, I was surrounded by girls. They all love me and I can't blame them, I love me too.

Giving my best smile, I excused myself and went through the almost made crowd around me. I found Andrew and Justin a few blocks away, and I went towards them.

"Hey bro, the girls are going crazy," Justin said once I got to them.

"Yea I agree," I told him.

I enjoyed the realization that people love me, but the attention can be overwhelming at times.

Justin started rambling on about something that I wasn't really paying attention to. Caleb and a few other guys had joined us too.

I was excited to see my angel, I miss her lots. It's not like I haven't seen her since last semester, but it's been too long in my opinion.

I was in my thoughts, but snapped out of them when my eyes found her walking towards us. She was a beauty, I say that a lot, but it's true. Rebecca was my everything.

"I'll see you guys later," I told them.

"Alright, go hang with your girl," Caleb smiled at me.

"Yeah, we'll see you in class," Andrew said.

"Later bro," Justin and another one of the guys said.

I said another goodbye, before walking towards my angel.

"Hey love, how are you this morning," I asked her with a bright smile, giving her a kiss on the lips.

"Hectic morning, first day back," She smiled back to me.

"Did you miss me?" I asked her.

"Of cos babe, I miss you every second I'm not around you," She gave me another kiss.

"Well then I guess we'll have to never leave each other," I half joked.

I miss her like crazy when I'm not around her, and hearing her say she feels the same way melts my heart.

"I doubt that would work though," She laughed.

Everytime I hear her angelic laugh, it makes me feel jelly inside. She gives me butterflies, and I want to spend the rest of my days with my angel.

I started to laugh with her. We walked together towards the lockers.

"Wanna hang out later?" I asked her.

"Only if it's just you and me, nobody else." Her arms were around my neck.

"Sure babe, just you and me." I replied.

"Then expect me later on," She said, making a huge smile come over my face like a little boy.

She opened her locker, grabbed her books and closed it back. We didn't have the same college classes, except for one.

So I only saw her in economics and at lunch, or on campus when we are walking. If it wasn't for my crew and I sharing the same classes, I'd be lost and lonely.

A few girls waved and giggled at me, but I ignored them, my full attention on this angel of mine. She is the only one for me, and I know how she gets when she sees a girl trying to speak to me.

She frowned a little, but she quickly hid it with a small smile.

"Gotta go to class now or I'll be late. See you later," She gave me a peck on the cheek.

"Sure babe, see ya," I told her, giving her another kiss before she turned around and left.

I went towards my locker and got a book out for my first class. I went to English language and literature, and sat down in one of the seats in the back, by my friends. We talked for a while, until the professor came in and introduced himself.

I went to all my classes, spent some time with my friends and my girlfriend, and did a few other things. I played football, but we didn't have it today, only practice.

The day had passed by quickly if you ask me, and I was excited to go and hang with Rebecca. I got in my car, and drove to her house. We spent time together at her house, alone.

A few hours later, I left her home and went to my own. There was a party today, as usual, but I didn't go. When I got home, I took a shower, facetimed my girlfriend, texted my friends, and went to sleep.

Well today was a good day and tomorrow was a new day. Let's just say, I can't wait to see my girlfriend again.

Alina POV:

I went to all my classes, and I even made a few friends. Jake, Georgia, and Valerie. They were good company as well as great students. They had good grades, but the only thing that I didn't care for was them partying.

A few times, they went to parties, and they drank alcohol. I didn't really like this, but I hoped for the best and not the worst.

We all shared a few classes together, and we hung out a lunch. After school, we all went shopping. Yes, shopping. We laughed and had a good time together.

You could say this was a lot for people who just became friends the same day, but I was happy, so I could care less.

They were friends I could understand, and they understood me too. It was easy with them, and we already grew a bond when we all got to know each other.

I ended up getting a college dorm on campus, and I went back there once we were all done hanging out.  I called my family and we talked for hours.

We were catching up and discussing my first day, as well as a few things going on back at home. After ended the phone call, I took a shower and studied a little. I watched tv and ate, before going to sleep.

Today was a good day, and I was positive tomorrow and this week will be too. Well that was before I knew there was going to be party drama this week...
