Chapter 08

AUTHOR'S POV

“ Are there no maids here? ” Silas groaned out as he noticed her cooking breakfast.

He eyed her from afar trying to get past this awkward situation. She had not talked to him after that moment in the closet. She silently took her clothes and left his room.

Now she stood in front of the kitchen counter making breakfast. She was wearing her casual clothes, a grey shirt with shorts. Her long legs were on display for him to ogle and die breathlessly. Her face was bare of any makeup. She did not look like Sara at all. She looked like some sweet wife who was cooking breakfast for her loving family. The thought made Silas snicker to himself.

Sara's eyes raised up to find him standing near the doorway.

“ There will be no maids. ” She replied finally, making him sigh heavily.

“ Why? Are we running short on money Baby? ” He joked trying to lighten up the mood. Her eyes were emotionless now which made him think that they were some kind of strangers. Well. Logically, they were strangers but atleast they were married.

“ I don't like people roaming around in my house. People who can simply poison me on one of my family member's order. ” Shrugging her shoulders, Sara spread butter on the bread.

What she said was serious and in all honesty cruel but her face was as blank as an empty paper. Perhaps, she was not affected by these things anymore.

“ Besides... ” Slowly, she raised her head to meet Silas's curious eyes.

“ We have you now. You can do all the work. ” She smiled, the gesture not reaching her cold eyes at all.

He fucked up, didn't he? Now she was going to start making his life hell like she promised.

In the end, she was in fact Sara Lexing - Alexander.

Silas smirked and folded his arms on his chest. “ Ofcourse. You have me now. ” This came out more sensual which made Sara pause to stare at him in confusion.

He had a great idea. A perfect one.

**********

Something was off with Silas. He agreed to do all the housework too easily. This was making Sara's nerves tick.

He definitely had some plan. A plan to overturn everything on her. Sara thought about this as she drove to Hotel Paradise.

There was an important meeting ahead of her yet all she could think about was Silas Alexander. Her Peasant Husband, the one of a kind headache.

Shaking her head, Sara parked the car in the hotel's parking and made her way to Room 578 directly.

As she stopped in front of the room, she looked around herself. The corridors were empty and the rooms were surely soundproof. Sara had some kind of bad feeling about this whole thing.

She looked down at her clothes. She was wearing a black dress that reached to her knees paired up with black heels and a black watch on her wrist.

Her eyes went to the black handbag she was carrying. She did not forget to take a pepper spary can with her. Just in case something bad happened, at least she would be able to gain some time.

“ Nothing will happen. ” She reassured herself and knocked two times at the door.

Her heart was thumping against her ribcage. She did not know if she will even be able to make him agree to make the deal with Lexingtons.

Leave that thought aside, she did not know if President Gabriel was going to behave like a human or not.

The door to the room opened making her glance up to find Caleb, President Gabriel's PA standing on the other side.

“ Good Evening Ma'am. Sir is waiting for you inside. ” He came to the point directly and gestured for her to come inside.

Just as she stepped inside, he closed the door. She turned to look at him and found the space empty. He left and closed the door on his way out.

Fear was clouding Sara's mind but her feet moved on their own taking her to the living area of this luxurious Suite.

There he was sitting on one of the couch, his eyes watching her like a predator observing its prey. Wearing a grey suit, he looked decent but the evil shine in his eyes gave his trueself away. He was an ugly fat man with Power and nothing more.

“ I was waiting for you Sara Lexington. ” He gestured for her to sit and Sara marched to the couch opposite him. “ Not there Dear. Sit here. I have hearing problems, I can't hear you from so far. ” He chuckled making Sara roll her eyes.

This old geezer was really living upto to his reputation of being a manwhore.

' Endure it Sara. Be patient. ' Her subconscious mind whispered to her making her sigh.

Sara walked to the couch on which he was sitting and sat down on the far right corner as far as she could sit from this shitty man.

“ Mr. Gabriel. It's a pleasure to finally meet you. ” Sara started noticing how Gabriel was staring at her bare lower legs. This made her shrink in herself. The look he was giving her was just too disgusting.

“ I wanted to talk about th- ” Inhaling deeply, Sara started again but he shook his hand in the air making her pause.

“ Do you want a drink? ” He asked, a vular grin stretching across his lips that made Sara sick to her stomach. He was undressing her with his eyes and she was unable to do anything.

“ No Thank you. ” Gritting her teeth, Sara refused politely, keeping her tone as soft as possible.

She did not want to offend him. That was why she endured everything. She needed his support.

“ So Sara... ” He grabbed the glass of whiskey that was placed on the table in front of them and trailed off taking a sip.

“ What am I going to get if I decide to sign deals with Lexington Corp just because you are asking? ” His eyes traced her face and stopped at her chest as Sara's eyes went wide in disgust.

He was openly eyeing her now. He knew about her weakness. It was no use to stay here anymore. She will have to look for another way.

Coming here was a mistake. Her mind was this repeating again and again.

“ Nothing. I think I should leave now. ” Sara pushed herself off the couch, nodding her head at him as she sighed softly to herself.

She turned around to leave without caring about how she did not even bid him proper greetings.

Just as she turned her back at him, a force whipped her around making her drop down on the couch. Her handbag fell from her hand as a shriek left her lips.

“ You thought you could come here, tempt me and then leave easily? ” He hissed at Sara's face as she opened her eyes to find him pinning her down with his weight.

Her heart leapt up to her throat as she felt shivers run down her spine.

“ What do you think you are doing?! Do you not know who I am?! ” Sara yelled out, trying to push him away but he did not budge which made her heart to drop down in the pit of her stomach.

He laughed. He laughed amused at her failed attempts to free herself.

“ Magnus doesn't favor you anymore Dollface. But I can favor you. ” He singsang and leaned down to kiss her neck when Sara started screaming.

She pushed him back but he was stronger than her. Even if he was in his 50's, he was too fat and large to cage her petite figure easily.

“ LEAVE ME! ” His filthy tongue grazed her neck and jolts of revulsion shot her body.

She tried to get herself out of his hold using all her energy but to no avail. His dirty hands started roaming around her body making her scream louder. In despair and fear.

His lips were kissing her neck making her sick to her stomach. The realization dawned upon her that he was not going to stop.

There was no one to save her. Tears started falling out of her eyes and she went completely still letting him do whatever he wanted to do to her.

He ripped her dress from her shoulder and Sara blankly looked at him. He leaned down to leave marks on her neck again.

“ Now you are a good girl. ” He grinned, thinking that she gave in.

Sara's horrified and calculating eyes went to the small table beside the sofa on her head's side. A vase was placed over it. She stopped resisting against him and reached out for it.

If there was no one to save her, then she was going to save herself.

She felt scared, angry, disgusted, shocked, horrified and numb at the same time. There was a constant ringing in her ears when she grabbed the vase. All flowers fell down from it along with the water.

She raised it above his head while he was too busy in ripping her clothes, biting her skin and touching her breasts mercilessly.

In a moment, she smashed it on his head and he screamed out in pain. He groaned and leaned away from her.

Sara took this chance and pushed him away. He dropped down on the floor as blood oozed out from his head pooling around him. Expressions of pain overcame his face when he grabbed his stomach and doubled over confusing Sara.

Slowly, she watched as he grunted in pain before going limp. Suddenly, fear gripped her heart and she leaned down to shake him.

He was not dead right?

“ G-Gab.. ” She tried to call his name but the lump in her throat was not letting her do anything.

Petrified, she placed fingers on the vein of his neck trying to feel any sign of life.

Her face turned pale as she retracted her hand back. She was in shock. Everything seemed too unreal. She was unable to understand what she was supposed to do anymore.

He was dead. There was no pulse.

She killed him. The cruel realization dawned upon her which she shook off by shaking her head.

No. No. She did not kill him. She could never kill anyone. Never.

Tears were falling out of her eyes continuously. Her blurry eyes went down to the bloody vase in her hand and she gasped before throwing it away.

What did she do?! What did she do?!

Grabbing her hair into fists, that was all she thought about.

“ It's just a nightmare. A nightmare. A nightmare... ” She started moving back and forth repeating the same thing over and over again.

Her head was spinning. Out of the blue, she heard the door to the suite opening. Someone came.

It was over for her now.

Her life was over.

Her mind gave up on her as she fell down unconscious but the last thing she saw was a man wearing a mask.

It was someone unfamiliar accompanied by many other men.
