Chapter 2 This Is My Little Ai

Two tall and strong bodyguards came at the same time.

"Take some pictures of her despicable appearance. Don't let go of any details."

My mother-in-law's cold voice unnerved me. I jerked up at her in disbelief, "No. You can't do this to me!"

"Of course, I can. A slut like you should be punished." As she spoke, she glared at the bodyguards beside her, "Why are you still standing there? Hurry up and do it now!"

The two bodyguards hesitated for a moment before they strode over and pulled the quilt covering me.

I was dumbfounded and struggled shamefully. However, I was so weak to fight the two strong men. Finally, they pressed me on the bed. I looked awkward.

They quickly lifted the quilt to show my naked body. The shame overwhelmed me like poison ivy, strangling my neck and making me unable to breathe.

My mother-in-law was watching coldly. I clenched the sheets with both hands in shame and anger, glaring at her and gritting my teeth. My gums were bleeding when I shouted, "Why, Marilyn, why did you do this to me?"

Blood dripped down the corner of my mouth, mixed with bitter tears. On the bedsheet, tears mixed with blood, looking scarlet. I felt humiliated to the extreme.

Marilyn smiled disapprovingly and looked at me from the corner of her eyes, "Why? Because you want to become rich from relying on my son. You stop him from being the Fain family's son-in-law. You have destroyed his good bright. These are the consequences of your sins!"

The bodyguards took many pictures of my whole body including mottled marks on my chest and my legs' filth when Marilyn scolded me.

The two bodyguards blushed and handed the phone to Marilyn. After that, they left respectfully and closed the door.

I staggered out of bed and pulled down the blue curtains to wrap my body, trembling, rushing over. "Lunatic, why are you taking these pictures? Give me the things!"

Seeing that I was going to grab the phone, Marilyn quickly opened the french window and strode to the balcony to throw the phone out, "See, I've already saved the backup. It's useless to take it away?"

We were on the thirteenth floor of the hotel. The phone fell into pieces when it touched the ground.

I glanced at the shattered phone downstairs and gradually clenched my hand hidden under the window veil, indignantly pinching my nails into my flesh to ease the pain in my heart, "What the hell are you going to do?"

To be honest, I really wanted to hold Marilyn in my arms and jumped down at this moment, falling to pieces and dying together!

Marilyn lazily leaned against the balcony wall and raised her hand to lift the gem necklace around her neck. She said, "Since the old man likes you so much, you should tell him personally that you need to divorce Scott. I promise those photos will stay in my mailbox forever if you behave yourself and stop pestering Scott after you get out of the Laris family!"

[...]

I staggered back to the Laris family. After yesterday's accident, I probably wouldn't take a taxi for the rest of my life.

The pressure overwhelmed me when I staggered back home.

My mind filled with Scott's cold and disgusting face and his words, "Chelsea Larney, you really disgust me."

This time, my relationship with Scott really came to an end.

It was already dusk when I returned to the House of the Laris family. The autumn wind was bleak outside.

I only felt like I was going into a cage when I walked into the black gilded iron door. It was so depressing.

Suddenly, I was desperate to leave here to regain freedom.

A wheelchair suddenly came out and blocked my way when I walked around the garden and passed a large pool. The person in the wheelchair arrogantly raised her chin at me.

It was not strange to see her. I frowned and said, "Chloe, what do you want?"

Chloe was Marilyn's daughter, the most favored daughter in the Laris family. Chloe liked to bring me trouble and embarrass me for fun.

Usually, I could tolerate her no matter how far she went, but today I was not in the mood to do so.

Chloe curled her reddish lips and smiled wickedly, "Hey, I don't want to do anything. I just want to ask you if you felt good."

"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion and quietly retreated a few steps to avoid her stumbled again like before and said I did it. I didn't want to get into such trouble again.

Now that I had decided to divorce Scott, I wanted to leave quietly without causing any other trouble.

Chloe tapped her fingers on the armrest. Even though she was sitting in a wheelchair, she still behaved superior with full of mockery and provocation in her eyes, "I prepared all those for you last night. I chose that boy myself, so I have the right to know your feeling. Don't I?"

In the morning, I thought it was all Marilyn's scheme, but I really didn't expect that Chloe was the one who schemed it!

I looked at Chloe in astonishment. Her beautiful face was covering her demonic heart. Suddenly, I felt helpless and couldn't utter a word. I raised my hand to cover my aching chest and took a detour.

My reputation had been ruined, so had my marriage. No matter how much I cared, what could I get back?

In the face of my husband's indifference and the viciousness of my mother-in-law's family, what else was there for me to salvage?

Besides, who would believe me even if I said that Chloe did all this?

"Chelsea, did I say you could leave?" I just wanted to leave quickly, but she didn't want to give up and drove her electric wheelchair to stop me. She was like a ghost.

She stared at me sharply with gloom on her face, as if she was unhappy to see me not arguing with her hysterically.

In her eyes, I saw something similar to hatred. I asked what had been hidden in my mind, "Chloe, what are you hating?"

In the past years, she often looked at me with hatred when there was no one else, which puzzled me.

Hearing my words, Chloe laughed out and slapped herself on the thigh as if she wanted to jump on and strangle me.

"You made me disabled. You ruined my whole life!"

She continued, "Chelsea Larney, you are a complete executioner. How dare you ask me what I hate? It seems that you have never felt guilty all these years!"

Her hoarse voice echoed in the whistling autumn wind. It shocked me and made me nervous.

It turned out that she had always hated me for the accident back then...

I blinked in tears and suddenly didn't know whether to repent or beg for forgiveness.

"Wa, wa, fly, fly..."

At this moment, a crisp childish voice broke the oppressive silence in the house.

A child ran up to me with a remote control plane in his hands, "Chelsea, look, this is the plane Scott bought for me!"

I glanced at Chloe and saw that she had restrained her sharpness. Maybe she didn't want to show her nasty side to her son, so I pretended that nothing had happened.

I squatted down and pinched my little nephew's chubby face, "Randy's plane is so cool. It must be fun."

I didn't realize who Scott was for a moment, so I asked curiously, "Who is Scott?"

"Scott is Scott." Randy pointed not far away and grinned. "There, that's Scott!"

I followed Randy's hand and saw a tall man standing lazily under the tree not far away. The golden sunshine dropped on his body.

The white turtleneck sweater and black trousers showed his indifferent and cool temperament. He put one hand in his pocket with some faint melancholy between his eyebrows as before, making him look calm and elegant. The corner of his mouth was hooking up, seemingly smiling. I could see his deep eyes were squinting and looking this way.

After all these years, he finally came back...

The man, who grew up with me, caught my sight and made tears rolling in my eyes.

Randy pulled me to the tree and looked up, smiling, "Scott, this is Chelsea, my Chelsea!"
