Once Hoshik made that comment, the car became silent with only the faint sound of the air conditioner and the driver steering the wheel or changing the gear along with faint sounds from the traffic can be heard.

Taeyang would steal one or two glances of the elder every now and then and that one question which popped up in his mind when they first met would knock on his head

"why wont he smile?"

He really wanted to see the elder's smile because he had a doubt that the elder sports a cute dimple near his lip, which he has seen when he would press his lips together into a firm line, but Taeyang wanted to see those dimples when the elder smiles...how it looked then and what kind of smile does this elder has

These questions has been bugging him since the time they had met. During his time of thoughts he didn't realize that the car has come to a halt and it is only when the elder disappears from his view to step out of the car and holds the door open for him and that's when Taeyang moves from his place and steps out only to find himself in front of Tiffany and co.

And he just prays that he won't embarrass himself and Hoshik cause as his mother says, he was basically a country boy who has never been to such high end places...yes he learned table etiquette from his grandparents and his elder brother, but his brother was busy saving their dooming company that he did really had any time to take him out for shopping. Yes he has a credit card which his mother gave him so that he can show off his supposed wealth to the Jungs.

Taeyang was looking at the shop when a hand falls at the small of his back and he hears the elder say "come Taeyang"

He nods towards the elder and if he thought that by then the elders hand would be gone, then he was happily wrong because the elder starts walking, taking him along

As soon as they enter, a woman dressed in black pencil skirt, a white shirt and black coat comes to them

"hello sir, how may I help you?" comes that women sweet voice

"Hello I am Jung Hoshik, this is my fiancé Kim Taeyang, we are looking for engagement rings" Hoshik replies in a tone which sounded a lot more professional to Taeyang

"so he does talks to me differently" Taeyang feels something at the pit off his stomach

It was like the lady realized who they were because in an instant they were taken to a vip lounge and within seconds the manager comes rushing in

"hello Mr.Jung, that was our new staff, I am so sorry for the trouble" comes the manager's hasty apology

"its ok Mr.Kang, I believe that things are ready as it was asked of you?" Hoshik asks without any emotion and Taeyang could notice that the elder was clearly being scary right now, but surprisingly it didn't really scare Taeyang

"o-ofcourse sir" with that stuttering reply...rows of staffs come in holding onto a number of velvet boxes which were being laid down in front of them, filled with over the top expensive bands of platinum and gold, all of them studded with diamonds

"sir, these are our new designs, I hope that your fiancé will like these" Taeyang looks up from the rings to look at the manager who was lowkey sweating in that air conditioned room and it was quite confusing for him

"was his hyung that scary?"

He looks at Hoshik, who was looking at the rings without much interest, as if he has seen a lot more better things in life

Taeyang scans the rows and rows of shining metals when he hears his hyung say

"do you find something you like Taeyang?"

Taeyang bites onto his bottom lip, again looking at the boxes when something catches his eyes...it was not because it was shining more than the others, instead it was not shining at all

It was simple pair of platinum bands with an infinity sign etched on it, that ring reminded him of himself...how left out it might feel among all those brightly shining bunch

Taeyang forwards his hand and grabs that particular pair, but before he could say anything to reply to Hoshik previous question, those pair got hastily snatched by a violently shaking limb and Taeyang sees the manager bowing to them

"I am sorry sir, there were not supposed to be with this collection, the staff might have mixed them up, I request you to please look through the designs once again"

Hoshik looks to his left to see the younger's face fall while his gaze was fixed at the manager's hand

"let me see those" Hoshik forwards his hand towards the manager

"sir, we have a lot more better collection here..." But the manager stops mid sentence and Taeyang sees that the cause was just a look from his hyung

"sorry sir" saying that, the manager places the rings in his hand and Hoshik looks at them

The way Hoshik was scrutinizing the rings, Taeyang felt like he screwed up, he should have selected something more expensive...this was totally not the elder's style. What was he thinking to select something so cheap? Now the elder will think that his taste was very poor.

As soon as Taeyang opens his mouth to rectify his mistake, Hoshik beats him to it

"select something else Taeyang" saying that Hoshik keeps platinum bands to the side

"y-yes hyung" with an attempt to cover up his disappointment, Taeyang looks through those shiny objects and grabs a pair of bands with solitaire diamonds

"oh, that's an amazing selection sir..." and the manager goes on blabbering about the quality of the diamond and the metal and what not

"is that it Taeyang?" he hears his hyung ask again

"yes hyung"Taeyang replies

"ok then, this is it, pls pack these and these as well" saying that Hoshik hands over the earlier pair to the manager, who directs his staff to start preparing for the bill

Hearing that Taeyang looks up at his hyung with wide eyes, did he just but two pair of rings which could clearly cost a fortune

"hyung!"

The manager excuses himself

"what is it Taeyang?" Hoshik asks while checking something in his mobile

"hyung, did you just buy both those rings?" Taeyang asks, his tone changing from his timid one to a bit more braver

"I believe I did" Hoshik replies, now keeping his phone in his pocket

"ahh hyungggg! You can't do that, its totally a waste of money" Taeyang whines

Hosoek looks at Taeyang amused "is he whining?" Hoshik asks himself with an internal chuckle

"Taeyang, you liked those rings..so I thought we could get those" Hoshik replies

"but buying two pairs is a total waste when we are only going to wear one" Taeyang justifies

"Are you nagging at me right now?" Hoshik asks with one eyebrow raised

That's when Taeyang realizes what he was doing he sits down with his head hung low

"Sorry hyung" and the timid Taeyang was back

Hoshik brings his hand up to caress the younger's hair, now it was not something foreign to both of them, its like they both got used to it.

"What do you want me to do then, Taeyang?" Hoshik asks

"just buy one pair, hyung" Taeyang replies

"how about we buy both of them and then once we get married you can do whatever you want with those with diamonds, huh?" Hoshik asks

"but then it wont have any meaning, engagement rings are supposed to hold meaning?" Taeyang whines and leaves from the lounge

Hoshik chuckles when he believes that the younger was out of earshot

Hoshik follows Taeyang out and the manager informs him that they were ready for the billing, Hoshik looks around for Taeyang who was looking around the showroom, he calls out to him

"Taeyang" he walks and stands next to Hoshik and bows to the manager who returns the bow

"Mr. Kang, looks like my fiancé here is not happy with my decision so I would like to buy only one set of rings" Taeyang looks at his hyung with a wide smile and he feels a very familiar hand at the small of his back

"Taeyang, why don't you show Mr. Kang, which one did you like?"

"yes hyung"

"this way sir" Taeyang walks with the manager and then he takes the one he liked first but then he looks at his hyung for reassurance

"hyung, is this ok with you?" Hoshik just gives him a nod

"ok then Mr. Kang, I would like the bill now" Hoshik say with finality

"yes sir"

Once they were done, both of them walk out and into Hoshik's car, once settled Taeyang tunrs to his hyung

"thank you hyung"

Hoshik just nods and Taeyang turns back with a pout, only if he knew what the elder was going through

Hoshik's pov

Whats wrong with me, since when did I started caring about others...this is not good. Why did I, Jung Hoshik change his decision just because he didn't like it and just I just listen to what he wanted...arrgh I am going to go crazy at this pace. Hobi, get your senses back...this is not at all good.

They proceed for lunch next

Here, just like any other Sunday afternoon, Kijoon was still in his pajamas, yet to take his bath while Jungkook was preparing their lunch and nagging at Kijoon at the same time

"I cant believe this hyung, you just made a toast yesterday and you managed to break the toaster...seriously what did you even do?" Jungkook asked

"but kookie, I was trying to give you breakfast in bed and I totally made an amazing dinner the day before" Kijoon says pouting with his reading glasses on

"hyung, that dinner consisted of nothing but peanut butter and jam sandwich...you are not allowed near anything that can harm you, ok?" Jungkook glares at his hyung

"sorry kookie" saying that Kijoon comes and back hugs him for which Jungkook smiles

"hyung, its just that I am worried about you" Jungkook says while moving around with Kijoon still attached to his back

"I know kookie...I cant imagine what would I do without you" Kijoon says while closing his eyes to smell his favorite coconut smell of the younger

"you don't have to imagine hyung, coz I am not going anywhere" kookie says while serving his curry into a serving bowl

That when the doorbell rings

"oh that must be Yujun hyung" saying that the younger claps his hands and runs towards the door and Kijoon chuckles at his antics

But to his surprise he hears kookie talking to someone

"I am sorry, who are you"

Kijoon walks to the door, only to sigh at the sight of his distant cousin aka a very loud Mr. Jackson Wang

"HEYYYYYY, JOONIE JOONIE JOONIE, MY BROTHER" basically shouting that in english, Jackson literally shoves Jungkook aside and jumps onto Kijoon and Kijoon just sighs in defeat while kookie looks at him confused still finding support on the nearby table, while the intruder just keeps on speaking

"its been soooo long my brother...I missed you"

"ok ok Jackson, I missed you too, can you please get of me" Kijoon was literally choking but the other was not listening

"k-koo-kookie" comes Kijoon's strangled plea and Jungkook takes upon himself to forcefully peal the intruder off his hyung and rescue him and finally Kijoon breaths

"hyung! Are you ok?" kookie asks concerned

"I am fine kookie" Kijoon says, his breaths coming down to normal

"what are you doing here Jackson" Kijoon asks

"cmon joonie, cant I visit my brother once in a while" jakson asks inviting himself into the apartment and flopping down onto the couch "and who is this cutie here" he asks eyeing Jungkook from top to bottom for which kookie hides behind his hyung

"this is Jungkook, do you remember?" Kijoon replies, not liking the way Jackson was making hi kookie uncomfortable

Hearing Kijoon Jackson springs back onto his feet and was about to attack kookie

"Hyung!" comes jungkook's panicked cry before he completely hides behind Kijoon and Jackson stops in his track and laughs

"still the same aren't we? Its going to be really fun" he says in English which makes Jungkook confuse while Kijoon frowns at that comment.
