ARIANNE went to San Roque de Pasay Parish Church the next morning. She thanked God for all the blessings she received on her birthday. She can’t help but smile thinking about the gifts she received from Rob and Nicole. Apart from those gifts, they also surprised her with cake and some of her favorite food to celebrate her birthday. They are really a blessing to her. Apart from being thankful, she also prayed for her friends to receive the blessing they’ve been praying for, a baby.

She looks at her wristwatch. She’s got an hour left. She better hurry to the exhibit.

She loves art and painting that’s why she often goes to galleries and observes other’s works. She got interested in Eissej’s paintings after she saw one of his works in an art gallery. Eissej’s artwork was a 3D painting of butterflies that caught her attention the moment she saw it. The painting was so expensive but she was surprised when she found out that the proceeds will be given to charities. Apart from the beauty of his artwork, she got interested in him too after knowing how good his heart is though she hasn’t met him yet in person nor pictures. That exhibit is where he’d actually show up for the first time. Though she hasn’t bought any of his paintings, she wanted to at least see her inspiration for the first time.

She looks at her phone and saw the miscalls and messages she received from her mom. She purposely silent her phone to avoid her mom’s messages and calls but she can’t help but look at them. As she expected, she’s telling her to send the money right away. She’s supposed to send her money that day but she won’t be doing it this time. She even left her money on purpose in case she feels guilty and change her mind.

She was outside the church when someone suddenly grabbed her bag. Her ticket!

"Help!"

JESSIE was about to get into his car when he heard a woman screaming for help. He was looking where that voice coming from when he caught sight of a young man holding a bag and running. He thought it might be a thief. His feet automatically ran to chase it.

It seems like the young man was used to stealing in that area. He knows every corner around the church.

“Why am I doing this?!” He said to himself.

EVEN though Arianne is having a hard time running because of her high heeled shoes which Nicole forced her to use, she still tries to run faster. She can't lose her bag. Her ticket to Eissej'sexhibit is there.

She remembered what her friend, Rob had said before she left the house that morning.

"Never forget to go to the exhibit because you might not have a second chance. I heard that after the exhibit, Eissej will leave the country and will never return. But who knows, maybe when he sees you he will suddenly change his mind.”

She shook her head. “I must get it no matter what?” she was already crying in frustration.
