" girl just calm down or you are going to end up in hospital bed" hailey said rolling her eyes at me.

"how the fuck i calm down myself in this situation" i spat angrily. she try to console me from half an hour , where kyden gave me pity look.

"by having a party, i guess" she replied shrugging.

"really" i said looking at her annoyingly, which she nodded her head. i stare at my food which is begging me to take a bite.

" look its a good opportunity for you, you will get better position, have better income and most importantly you don't have to do shitty secretary job where you literally become slave" she said taking my hands in hers.

" what do you say kyden" she ask him who is busy having his lunch and didn't hear what she just said.

she roll her eyes at him and turn to face me " think about it rose, you will get a chance to prove yourself " she said try to encouraging me which is working I guess .i close my eyes taking a deep breath i replied.

" Ok ". i said opening my eyes , hailey squeal in happiness where kyden still busy with his food.

" good now finish your lunch and go to the boss and tell him about your decision, Ok " she said and i nodded mu head .

after that i head straight to mr. black office and knock . " come in" he said signing deeply i enter.

" ah rose take a seat" he said and sat one of the chair opposite to him. " so did you think about mr. bruce offer " he ask keenly looking at me.

"yes" i answer still thinking about to back off but need to do it and mr. black looking at me with pleading eyes i can't.

" so what have you decided" he ask, taking a deep breath , " yes i am taking his offer, but i have some conditions too" i replied ,he let out a sign of relief .

" good, whatever your conditions are you can tell him personally when you meet him tomorrow" .he said and i nodded .

"well if everything is good, you should go and pack your things ,tomorrow you have a meeting with him , he will contact you for more details" he said and smile. i nod and leave his office .

i came back to my cabin signing i start to do some last work and send him after that i start to pack my things when i was done at 5 i look around my cabin last time , where i start working , gossip a little with hailey and kyden. my eyes moist with tears, at the thought of leaving my friends , i am going to miss them so much.

" ah rose you came in time , i have something to tell you take a seat " mr. black said and i nodded and sat on a vacant chair .

"um..m you remember mr. bruce right" he ask. " yes mr. black i remember". i answer him.

" good well we gave a deal and he is looking forward to work with us " he said and i smile a little. " but he have conditions " he said and i stare at him confusion .

" he wanted you to--- he trailed of -- you to " let me explain to her mr. black" mr. bruce cut him of .

"i want you to marry me " he said in his usual monotone . " you what " i said loudly staring at him in shock.

" no need to bark ms. rose , i want you to marry me " he said like stating a obvious thing and i glare at him with so much anger.

" thanks for the proposal mr. bruce but i am not interested " i said in stern voice still glaring at him.

he rose up from his seat buttoning his suit " i have my ways to make you interested ms rose , for now i gave to 3 hours to decide " he said and mr. black stood as well and trying to convince him but which he didn't acknowledge and leave.

i glare at the spot where he stand earlier mr. black sign and turn to face me. " hear me first" he said as knowing I am going to decline again. i didn't reply just sat there staring at my hands .

soon he sat on his chair he lean forward a little putting his hands on table and intertwine his fingers together . " i know it is sudden but you need to marry him" he said and i stood quickly and move to door and twist door knob to leave not caring if i make my boss angry or not.

" rose " he call me gently i stop and turn a little, still my hand on door knob.

" if you didn't agree on this he will make my company bankrupt" he said signing and i stare at him raised my brow to him.

" you won't loose anything if agree but if you not then i'll loose everything , everyone will be jobless including hailey and kyden also , my family will be ruined " he said , i sign deeply closing my eyes to think he is right this man can do anything .

" but didn't he ask me for managing to project" i ask. he nod his head " yes he ask i don't know what happed but he change his mind , look rose you are like my own daughter i won't ask you to do something which is wrong for you , you are capable girl at any aspect " he said and i stare at him for continue " you will have your freedom , you can still work in this project , you will have your life and no one interfere i promise, you just need to say yes" he said looking at me with pleading eyes.

i didn't say anything and walk out and strolled of from corridor to elevator i press hailey's working floor , waiting for 5 minutes i head straight to her cabin and enter without knocking and sat opposite to her .

"woah girl what happened " she ask as she put her pen down looking at me with concern.

" shit happened" i reply getting irritated " ok would you like to tell me what this shit is " she ask giving me her full attention and i told her everything , she was shocked at first but beamed at me like she got her crush as her boyfriend.

" oh damn girl! you are so lucky" she said and i look at her puzzled . " seriously hailey" i said with irritation.

" what i don't think there is anything to feel off, the handsome ,richest and not forget hot mr. bruce proposed you " she said rolling her eyes.

" why i came in first place" i curse myself " because you love me " she said jokingly.

" i am going" i said and stood up but she held my hand and stop me . " yo girl , let grab something , we'll talk after that " she said and grab her purse and phone we head to elevator , she call kyden to join and we both leave to near restaurant , soon kyden join us and we order .( and the rest you already know)

i sign and head to mr. black office and knock.

"come in" he said and i enter and sat in front of me which he gave smile politely.

" sir i already set your schedule for 3 weeks and arrange papers for that, so you won't have ant problems , mrs. john will help you until you find new secretary " i said and he nodded.

" its time for me to leave , so i was here to say goodbye sir" i said and rose up from my seat and move to office door when he stop me.

" rose i want you to know that if you get any problems in future don't hesitate to ask me , you are like my daughter and best employee " he said , i gave him polite smile. " it may look like i use you for my company but that is not true, you will get a chance to prove yourself and make you future better he said walking around , he open his arm for me and i hug him.

" don't forget your father rose" he said lovingly patted my head . i nod my head as tear roll down my cheek. he chuckle a little .

" now go you have a long day tomorrow" he said and i move back smiling at him. " yes sir" i said. " no sir, from now on you will only call me Harold" he said and i again nodded and leave .

Taking my belongings i head to elevator and down to lobby where kyden and hailey already waiting for me, i make my way to them and stood there.

" done with packing " she ask and i nod. " good lets go" she said handing kyden my belongings and grabbing my hand we walk out but not before hearing kyden yelling. soon i got a message from unknown number .

UN: meet me xxx cafe at 8 sharp, good night ms. rose.

i roll my eyes , hell this man no hello or hi one thing is sure he is not a conversational person, i shook my head and replied .

Rose: Yes Mr.bruce, i'll be there and good night.

i send which read but he didn't reply. jerk i thought what do you expect from this man i thought, i save his number shithead laughing at his name i gave him. i lock my phone as my apartment building came to the view.

they drop me in my apartment i order pizza and headed to bathroom for shower and ate my dinner. when i was done i lie on my bed staring nothing particular, thinking about the proposal not knowing when sleep took over me.

"Derek he killed our men and destroyed our shipment " my right in command victor said , i throw the glass on floor furiously. " he always do the things which he don't need to do,i want him dead" i said angrily, making my men flinch in fear. " i want his head at any cost" i order him ." you know derek its not easy" vic said making me more angrier, i was about to say when one of my men came .

"boss there is someone want to meet you" he said .

" i don't want to meet anyone" i said sternly. " but he said he has information which you like to hear " he said making me turn to fce him.

" who is he " i ask when suddenly doors open," long time no see" the man said making me to stare at him in confusion. but soon my confusion was clear when he look up to me.

"Cole Argent" i said smirking at him. " derek hail" he said and hug me .

" what brings you here " i ask breaking hug.

" i have a news for you which you will like " he said.

" uh hh and what it is " i ask curiously.

" Rose Bella Smith" he said making me arch my brow at him, he told he every single detail of them .
