ROSE POV.

Everything went normal well i tried to behave normal and all the time he gave me creepy smile. i sigh in relief when ask me to leave which i am glad .

i headed to my office room , i saw kyden and he started to throw questions about meeting and i tell everything. and now i was busy doing work when Mr. Black call me .

i knock twice ,"come in" he said and i enter and close the door behind me. "yes mr. black" i ask politely.

"Ah yes rose come take a seat" he said and i sat on a chair. "well the good news is that Mr. bruce like our deal and he wanted to work with us" he said and i smile " congratulation sir" I said.

"well you too if you didn't do hard work this won't possible, i really appreciate " he compliment me.

" thank you sir". i said .

"And there is one condition" he said, i rose my brows in confusion.

"he want you to handle everything and you need to work with him" he stated and frown more confuse why he want me to work with him. "look rose i know that it is look complicated but try to understand this deal is very important for our company , please do that" he said .

"at least think about it, if you work with him you will be able to gain more money it will help you with your crises " he ask desperately.

" I'll think about it" i said and he nodded.

" you can go think properly, in want your answer tomorrow " i nodded and leave his room. grabing my phone, I headed to cafeteria. where both hailey and kyden waiting .

"what took you so long girl, i was waiting for " hailey ask me and pouted cutely. i smile at her childish behavior

"yeah tell her she is giving me headache " kyden said annoyingly. i sat on my seat and folded my hands.

"guys i want to tell you something " i said.

" is everything ok rose" kyden ask seeing my expression.

“yeah, I kind of need your advice” I said.they both gave me their full attention. i take a deep breath .

" we got this deal" i said and they smile brightly and squeal in happiness.

" then why long face it is for celebration girl, if we gain profit than that’s mean , mr. black will raise our income " hailey said excitedl.

“ yeah whats wrong isn’t it good” kyden ask. I lightly shook my head.

"well mr. black said that mr. bruce wanted me to work with him and handle this project. i said .

" what is the problem with it" hailley said. I look down at hands," but why me" i said and she gave me a look.

"I am just a secretary why i have to handle this project and why to work with him" i said quietly.

"girl this is your opportunity , if you work with him you will get to know more things" hailey said and i just stare in space not know what to do . if he is another person i won't hesitate but work with him gave me weird feeling .

"we won't force you to do anything, its up to you rose" kyden said and i look down not still confuse.

" ok stop these talk lets celebrate, what do you say hail" kyden said and hailey grin.

" oh hell yes! we are going to celebrate,what about club" she ask , i look at them ,are they kidding me, i am here in dilemma about what to do and they wanted to go club, great.

"don't give me that look, we are going at 8 , and I am going to come your house " she order as she always do.

i nodded " aye captain" i replied and we laugh . i don't get how they quickly make plans all of a sudden but i am lucky to have them.

As hailey said she show up at my door seven and shove me to bathroom I take a shower and wrap myself in towel , I walk out from bathroom when she push me to chair and stated to do my makeup I didn't protest because it'll go in vain she gave a a red dress it is short its not that i don't like or i am a nerd type( no offense) but i like simple dresses more and this dress is a bit revealing but no one win when she command . its hailey after all .

we reach at eight kyden already waiting for us . he was busy in his phone we walk towards him he look up to us. he stare at me for long and i feel awkward he avert his eyes when hailey cleared her throat.

“stop checking out my friend, so we can go” hailey said and kyden rub back of his neck.

" yeah sure, lets go " he said and smile at me, we headed to bar and hailey order some alcohol for us . kyden try to behave as he always do but he glance at me whenever he talk to hailey and this didn’t go unnoticed by hailey.

he leave to attend a call so he excuse hismself , hailey and i was enjoying our self, kyden came later with frown, he said he needed to go because of some work, which he didn’t remember he have. Strange I thought. he hugged hailey and then me.

" you look irresistible tonight "he whispered in my ear . i blush at his comment . " i am also looking hot you didn't complimented me" hailey spat faking anger.

" i don't give compliments to an aunty" he said, taunting her. I and kyden burst in laughter and she curse him, he stuck out his tongue at hailey and gave me small smile before leaving. we were sitting when she suddenly drag me to dance floor i hesitate at first but started to dance we , thanks to alcohol which i inserted in my system.

All the time while dancing i feel strange like someone is staring at me and i tell her about it .

"Girl look yourself you look hot isn't it is obvious that people will stare" she said and i feel more awkward .

"forget everything enjoy yourself " she said and take my hand and swing me and i collided with someone body he caught me his arm ,i look up to see who is he. its not that i am short i am 5'7 but he is tall.

i was shock to see him can't he leave me for a minutes whenever i forget about him he always come in front of me.

" will you release me" i said.

" I won't mind to hold you ms. rose"he said smirking.

Ahh he and his smirk but it look good how he will look if he laugh wait shouldn't I have to argue with him I thought. Because you are busy admiring him. My brain mock me.

"Come to earth rose" he said teasingly and I back away quickly. I drag hailey to bar and order another drink not wanted to there in his presence.

I was trying to calm myself but like God doesn't want me.

" isn't it is rude to behave like that to our partners " he said while sipping his drink.

I was about to say when hailey beat me.

"Hello Mr. may I know who you are" she glaring at him.

"Ah what a gentlemen I am, let me introduce myself, Zyan Bruce, Mr. Black and ms. Rose new partner" he replied sweetly. "And this is my friend colt " he introduced that's when i saw him. But he was starting at hailey.

" so you are mr. Bruce who is irritating her" she said casually and I mentally slap my head.

"Well I am hailey Marshall her friend " she introduced herself. " he is more than handsome you describe" she said and I stare at her with wide eyes, I really wanted to kill her.

Fuck It is my fault why I tell her everything and she is drunk which is cherry on top of cake good damn good. I'll kill kyden for leaving.

"Its a huge compliment " he said teasingly and looking at me with curiosity is visible in his eyes.

" it's late sir we should leave " I said and grab hailey hand to leave when he stop us.

"Yeah sure let me give you ride" he said as he drank his drink in one go.

" it's fine sir we'll go ourselves we have ride " i denied his offer politely as much i can.

"And you think you are riding, let me get the pleasure to get you home safely Rose and call me zyan when we are not in office"he said and walk out of club with his friend.

I sign and also walk out from club with hailey who stated to sleep. Ugh the hell this girl i curse myself for coming.

A black car come in front of us and he came out. And open door for me and colt came to me to let her sit her in her car.

" what about her car" I said . "I'll take care of it and your friend " said colt.

"And why should I trust you that you won't do anything". I said sternly.

" don't worry Chérie, I can assure you". I sign, colt help her to sat on passenger seat. And he sat on driving seat I gave him her address and worn him not to do anything.

And he speed off the road. I stand there watching her car leave my site.

"Don't worry about her she's safe" he assure me , I sign he open door for me and i sat on passenger seat.

He walk around and sat on driver seat and start his car which roar to his life. We sat there in complete silence which I am glad because i really don't want to talk.

Soon we reach to my apartment ,I tried to open the car door but he had locked it.

i turn to face him to see he already staring at me.

"what do you want Mr. Bruce" i ask with stern voice.

" i don't like beating the bush around so get to the point i want you to join this project" he said and i glare at him. " i am not asking you , i am just telling you but i want you to work with me you already know about deal with Mr. black and its a good deal you will get benefit" he stated like it is the obvious thing. i didn't say anything which he continue .

"i am giving you a chance think about it i want answer tomorrow and to your information i won't take no as an answer" he said and unlock the door and open it for me. i got out of his car and about to walk when i ask him.

"why me?" which he smirk and leave in a seconds he was out of my site , i sign and head to elevator and press button . i walk to my apartment door and unlock it his word is still in my head. i open it and enter lights are on and i remember to off them oh shit did someone broke into my house. I remove my heals slowly and head further in my house and the site in front of me make me angry..
