Rose POV.

" Mrs. Bruce, breakfast is ready" Maria said outside from my room. I open my door " how many times, I said call me rose, maria" I said faking an anger. She smile at me.

" sorry mrs. B—umm rose, please come downstairs, sir is waiting for you" she said and I smile nodding my head, I tell her to go first and get ready quickly . I check myself again in mirror satisfied with my looks, I head downstairs, where he sat in his head position using his phone looking as handsome as ever, I smile remembering last night. I walk towards him and sat on my side. He look up from his phone but greeted by his dead face he look furious , I frown but he gave me a small smile. I gave one but my minds gears started to work thinking about possibilities what make him angry that too early in the morning. So I decided to ask.

"is everything is okay" I ask. he nodded without looking at me. I very well know there is nothing okay.

" you can tell me" I said assuring him that he can talk to me, as a friend.

" zyan, I am your friend right so you can he cut me off

" will you shut up for a while" he said sternly and I look down. My fault why i even ask.

Sara placed breakfast and a glass of juice, I dig in , and I ate in silence where he didn't even touch it. I was half way through when his phone start ringing. He quickly stood up and went far away. I stare at his back for minutes his aura scream anger, I hear him shouting at the person on the other side . I pity him for facing his warmth. He cut the call in frustration and grabbing his coat he leave immediately, I stare at door with open mouth, that's it , he just leave without saying anything, he didn't even greeted me.

' he did smile' my conscience said. ' its like more forced' I reply grumpy. ' maybe some work issue' it reasoned but my mood is already went down.

I mourn at myself for what I don't know and resume my breakfast half heartedly. I grab my bag when i finish my breakfast , I head outside where Johnson and my four bodyguards stood there waiting for me . I sighed , I forgot to tell you, he hire four bodyguards for what reason. Yeah security bullshit. I don't need a security. This is one of the reason of our fight and he gave me deaf ear when I protest. but they are not bad , I have my full privacy, in these past two weeks i never feel like having them around. They are like ninja's super cool right!

"good morning, Mrs. Bruce " Johnson greeted and open door for me. " morning, johnson how many times I have to tell you call me rose" I said. "Mr. bruce order's" he replied. I shook my head and sat inside muttering a small thank you. I reach after 15 minutes and head inside , I look for hailey but couldn't find so I head straight top floor. Stace is already there sitting on her side doing her work.

" In time" I ask as I put my bag on side table and sat on my chair.

"yes" she said smiling widely. I smile at her childish behavior, she is still such a kid. Always get happy in short things. I open my computer and start doing my work. Stace already learned well in these days. We attended three meetings with mr. black. Soon it was lunch time , me , stace and kyden sat on our table waiting for hailey. Kyden has no longer problem with my marriage or what he show but I know he is lying because he don't want me to stress.

He started to behave like he used to and I am glad that he is trying at least. He and stace become good friend and I can tell stace has feeling for him, whenever he is around, her eyes shine looking at him. Always blushing whenever he flirt with her. I soon plan on playing cupid. Its already 20 minutes and she is nowhere, I unlock my phone and called her. She pick up at 4th ring.

" where are you" I ask. There is a pause for a minute than she replied. " um .. I have some important work , sorry I can't join you guys today". Her voice is hesitate and I know she is lying because whenever she lie her voice shake and hesitated, I can imagine her rubbing her nose lightly.

"May I know ,what important work you have" I ask. Again there is pause and I am damn sure she is hiding something.

"ah rose, I'll tell you later, I have to go bye" she said and hung up immediately. I look at ,my phone with frown.

" is she coming or no" kyden ask patiently, he is the most foodie in our circle. He can't control his hunger and already waiting for twenty minutes is record. I shook my head " No" I said. He huff in frustration and start eating. he moan " this burger is heaven" he said and again took a large bite. I chuckle and put a full spoon pasta in my mouth, we spend our time talking and him curing hailey and you know the reason why.

Me and stace head back after our lunch and start doing our work after an half an hour pass, I send stace to mr. black office to inform him about his meeting, this will be her first meeting which she attend without me.

" Nervous" I ask she nodded grabbing her Ipad. I put my hands on her shoulder and gave them a gentle squeeze " don't everything will be fine, remember that sat quietly, take notes and don't talk unless ask for " I said try to encourage her. She nodded. I smile and motion her to go.

"good luck" I said, she smile and head in meeting room with Mr. black. I sat on my chair, sighing. I message hailey to meet me after six and than I started doing my pending work and get myself busy. An hour pass and i went to washroom, when I came, stace is already sitting there with smile and I know she did great.

" oh rose, there is call for you" she said and I frown. Who will call me in office phone I thought. " did they tell your their name" I ask and she shook her head " no he ask for you and when I tell him your not here, he hung up" she said shrugging and I nodded. "here" she handed me a paper and I start doing my work. Mr. black give extra work to stace and I help her in it. I check my watch, its shown half past six. we pack our belongings and went inside the elevator, with ding sound its doors open and we walk towards where kyden waiting for us.

" where is hailey" I ask kyden. " I don't know" he said and walk towards his car, stace follow him because he drop her in his way. I bid them and Johnson open door for me.

I went in my room and took a shower, when I was done, I walk out of bathroom and sat in my bed opening my PC, I prepare a presentation for project and change some criteria's which zyan ask me to change. After two long hours, I stretch my hand when I was done and ask maria to send my dinner in my room. I ate my dinner and message hailey asking for her whereabouts and she replied she is in her apartment and assure me that she will tell me everything in office. I reply okay and ask maria to take plates.

Covering myself with duvet, I lay on my bed staring in space, thinking about his behavior and hailey's , I sigh and close my eyes, soon falling in deep slumber because of tiredness.

Zyan POV.

" I want the name in 15 minutes or else " I order my man, they look down and nodded their head.

" yes boss" said. " out" I said in stern voice and they hurriedly ran out. i lean back in my chair rubbing my temple. These fuckers dare to provoke me and I very well know who, that fucking Derek. And I'll make sure , he will pay for that. i am in this fucking angry mode from the morning, when I hear about that there is mole in my gang , and one of my most important shipment destroyed which cost me millions and send me a fucking letter saying her name with her photo , the money is not value much, but he dare to provoke Bronze and that's not fitting well with me , he sign his death certificate himself and I'll send him hell but not before showing my hell.

I leave immediately, when I hear about that, No one dare to look at me straight in my eyes expect my rose. oh shit , I forgot to call her. I saw the hurt look on her face when I leave,

My mind goes to her, last night repeat in my head like a broken tape, my lips curved up thinking about her shocked reaction , she didn't expect the date, I prepare for her hell even I am shocked , whenever she is around , I behave like a fucking lovesick teenager. I never cook for anyone, the last time I remember is when I am with my mom. Last night was bless, she awoke my new self which I never knew exist.

I remember when I first time saw her in los angles seven years ago , she take my breath away. She is like a clumsy girl who do stupid things, the innocence in her brown eyes that drawn me . she is an average girl that time, I got to know she is in california for her vacation and I was there for my meeting. I spent five days watching her from afar, not having a guts to talk her . yeah can you believe it the most feared man in mafia and business is scared for talking to a sixteen years old girl. But I like her watching from afar, it gave me peace seeing her, than one day I decide to talk to her , but when I reach at her hotel, she was not there, I search for her everywhere and put my mans to look for her but there is no trace for her, like she vanish in a thin air.

After that, I lost my hope to see her again, but in her face, never leave my mind so I choose to forget her and got involve with Victoria but she never leave my mind, my heart always yearn for her. A stupid romance movie dialog , I know but I can't help it. I loose all hope for ever meeting her , a one glance will be enough for me. Than some day when I was in my mission was succeed in killing their boss but i got badly injured in the process.

When I leave thar place, I didn't know where I was going, my legs work according their own, after walking not know where , I collapse , and than I hear a voice, a soft voice which is like melody to me when I look up her face come in front of my eyes, her concern eyes staring at me. Whatever she say, I didn't hear my mind got stuck seeing her after long seven years. I saw her.

I wanted to hug her, kiss her and never let go. She there in front of my eyes staring me with so much concern . first I thought it was dream but when her soft hand touch my face, I knew she is there, like real .

It was coincident that happened and trust me , I never wanted her to see me drench in blood, that's not what I wanted our first meeting like normal people have, but what can I say, I am not normal people. I chuckle escape from my lips.

she is like bright light who lighten the darkness. Her smile is pleasure of my pain. She is joy of my sorrow, and the love of my life . I try to convince myself that she is just an attraction, nothing to me but whenever i see her, I forget everything. At that time it feels like one me and her exist.

I wanted to start over, I even planned how to meet her and get to know each other, trust me I me not a person with patient but when it comes to her ,I'll wait for her entirely. I wanted to propose her , at least wanted to give her a normal couple life but that fucker got to know ,I have no other choice but to marry her this instant.

Its very painful for me to ignore her in past but I have to. But it gave me chance to observe her. Its not hidden that this girl is spitfire, a fireball . she didn't care how much power others held she stick to her ground and fight and not to forget , the times when she irritate me to the core .

Yes I love her its not hidden from me but its all new for me, I never love anyone other than my mom. I can't tell her me involving in mafia , heck how she would react if she got to know I am the mafia boss, I can't even imagine her reaction. what if she leave me, and it terrified me, I quickly shook my thoughts and pick my phone.

Unlock it , its shows ten, ' fuck' . I didn't call her whole day so I quickly call her and wait for her to answer. But she didn't. I again call her still not responding , again an again, I tried but its goes straight to voice mail.

I started to feel panic, 'is she ok . did something happen to her' no...no nothing will happen to her , I am not letting anything to her. I call my men's who I assign as her bodyguards.

" where is she" I ask without wasting time. " boss, mrs. Bruce is inside the mansion" he answer. I sigh in relief , at least she is in home. I cut the call without saying anything and rose up from my seat. Grabbing my blazer, I command my Issac who is third in command. once I was in my car, I speed off. I reach home after twenty minutes. Its weird that once this mansion is just the mansion to me but now it become home.

I strolled inside, hurriedly and spotted maria. She came down holding a tray. She acknowledge me.

" sir" she said bowing her head. " whose " I ask not completing knowing well she knows what I am asking.

" sir, mrs. Bruce, ask her dinner in her room" she said and I sigh. Now my tigress is angry. I thought.

" sir, should I serve dinner" she ask. " no , you may leave" I said and head upstairs and stop in front of her room , debating weather I go in now or not. I decide go after I freshen up so I went inside my room.

After I was done, I went inside her room from the door which is connect to mine, I press my thumb in scanner and it unlock. She didn't know that, and I am not planning on telling her. She didn't know I used to sneak inside her room every night to see her sleeping.

Whole room surrounded by darkness and my beautiful wife sleeping peacefully in her bed, the curtains are open giving me a chance to see her face. I sat at the edge of bed staring at her face, there is frown in he face, I move closer to her and lay beside her ,creasing her hair gently.

My fingers running in her soft brown hairs is the best thing I ever do. Her frown decrease , a little pout on her pink lips, my figure trace the outline of her lips, I badly wanted to kiss but what if she woke up and saw me

' you are kissing your wife' I thought.

" no it is wrong" I said, " nothing is wrong" it argue.

" what she'll think about me, that I am taking advantage" I said thinking weather kiss her or not.

" no, there is no taking advantage" it said. " but" I counter.

" no buts she is your wife," it said. " just fucking kiss her" my mind was stuck between do ot not and guess what I did. i connect my lips with hers, feeling her soft cherry lips against mine. Closing my eyes feeling her lips, I move my lips feeling greedy, she tasted sweet honey , addicting. i open my eyes meeting with her wide brown eyes.

And I stop in my place, my lips still attach to her.
