Vulgan was a poet on earth. As a typical poet like Shakespeare, Ovid, Enheduanna, etc, he lived in the figment of his imagination. He did write about quite the number of gods and explored a lot of themes of spiritual stances. Of one of the gods he wrote mostly on was the god of the sea, Poseidon. He did write about his rage and power. He wrote about his castle under the water. Then he wrote about himself walking in the midst of fire, getting betrothed to a Nymph and being someone of great reverence as the almighty.
