Athan POV
I almost lost my mind, after finding out she didn't went back to are current apartment.
"Where is Ivy ?"Sera asked glaring at me coldly.

"You mean she ain't here?" I questioned,
Running my hand through my hair, with confusion stinging the deepest part of me.

"She left my place earlier; so I thought of checking her here," I said calmly; trying not to burn the furious anger in me.

"Wait...You made her walk all by her self, did you do anything to her? did you hurt her?"she questioned.

I could hear what she was thinking, and was clear she  knew  her whereabout.
But needed to hear it from her lip to be satinly sure. But her nagging question didn't give me the opportunity to speak. I raged in anger, grabbing her by the wrist.
"It none of your business, just tell me where else she goes apart from here?"I groaned
"She...she mi..might be at her parent place"sera stammered, staring into his magnificent eyes.
He took a deep breath and loosened his hand from hers. "sorry...I hurt you, I hate being questioned when craving for an answer.

He was just as ivy described, she had never been this close to him before and could hardly count the pulse of her  heartbeat

"Athan "she called out, right before he was about to leave,

"d...do you love her" She questioned looking straight into his eyes.
He glanced at her and turned to leave without giving a reply.

"She loves you Athan"she shouted making her voice loud for him to  hear.

Athan widened his eyes, and could tell his heart raced, after hearing her words.

He paused and turned his gaze at Sera and gave a sided smile.
"Goodnight"He uttered and drove to her parent place.

"I haven't even told him, her address yet. how his he going to locate her home?"She Signed hitting her palm on her forehead.
She had no hint he had scanned all the information he needed to know, about the address.

He stood in front of the door without contemplating if he was at the right place or not.
He could scent her close enough and knocked without hesitation.

A handsome man opened the door. one could tell he was he his late forty's, but undoubtedly handsome. He even possess same eyeballs as ivy.

"Can I help you young man? was anything ordered from this address?"he questioned thinking he was some pizza delivery guy.

"No,I'm here to see your daughter" he uttered giving no facial expression.

"My daughter? wrong address. The only friend my daughter associate with is Dave and by the looks of it, I haven't seen your face around the neighborhood.
"Goodnight, he said and attempt to shut the door, but Athan stopped the door from shutting close with his hand firmly at the door.

I suppose her name his ivy"he uttered making her father gasped in surprise.
"So can I come in?He asked, knotting his eyebrows.

"Come in"Her father replied giving no expression.
The whole family were amused to see him, except Ivy whom was dumbstruck by his presence.

Ivy POV
"Do you know him?"my dad questioned, furiously waiting for an humble reply.
"Yes...I..I know him"I replied lowing my gaze to the ground.

"Come in...come in, we don't keep our guest waiting on their feet, am sure you must be hungry"my mum smiled with a smile on her face.

"Thanks ma'am, he replied sitting on the chair with his eyes fixed on me.

"Dang it, I didn't even apply makeup and my hair is a bit messy.
I wasn't expecting him to show up at my place. Only heaven knows how he got here.
"So what your name dear"my mum asked  noticing the chemistry between us.
I wasn't comfortable even for a min,the whole thing was getting weird

"Athan Cassius" he replied and brightened up his face with a fading smile.

Oh  mine! my husband name is Ethan almost similar"she said giving Mr Ethan a smile who gave  no facial expression but focused his gaze on Athan.

"It a pleasure to meet both of you, am highly delighted."Athan replied.

I was surprised at the way he spoke.
" I hope things move on smoothly as he speaks." I signed.

Am ivy junior sister, don't count me out  handsome"She said without taking her eyes off him.

"Who are you to ivy?"Mr Ethan asked as in sip a glass of wine.
"She is my girlfriend" he replied, which shot my heart twice.
This time, my father raised his glare at me.

"why did he keep calling me his girlfriend, did he actually mean it?"The thought of it m, made me rejoice within, but unsure if I was suppose to be happy or not.

" Since when ivy? you didn't tell us you were in a relationship"my mum asked eagerly waiting for an answer.

"Since yesterday. I told her not to mention it to anyone cause, I was planning a surprise visit to your place, am sorry if this feels uncomfortable"Athan uttered.

He just made a whole false story which sound believable, I was glad he replied them really well cause I was unable to  form two or three words together.

"Nice choice Ivy,/have started liking him already"my mum smiled and gave me a wink.

"Where did you find him ivy? he sooo cute"my little sister,Naomi,spoke with a wide smile on her face.
She is three years younger than me and a higher version of a courageous Lady.

"I haven't fully approve  this relationship so don't get too excited"My dad groaned.

After a long discussion, Athan thank them for the meal, even tho he had just three spoon of mealm

It getting late already, I think it time to go home son"Mr Ethan uttered as he head to the door, shutting the door open for him to depart.

"Darling he is ivy boyfriend, am pretty sure is pretty late for him to go out at this hour. Besides, he don't stay in this area"Mrs Anita said shutting the door close.

"Darling I think his perfect for   ivy, just give it time, you would Change your perspective about him"Mrs Anita smiled.

"He is this way because he is quite protective of his daughter" Mrs Anita said facing Athan.

"I have no problem ma'am, I would 
Gladly wait till he fully accept " Athan curved a smile.

"I will take you to the guest room"Mrs Anita said. "No need for that Mrs Anita, I would be sleeping with Ivy" he said, which made the whole family gasped in surprise.

"I can tolerate anything but not a stranger in my daughter's room, if you don't wanna stay in the guest room I suppose you would be more comfortable sleeping outside" Mr Ethan said coldly. "She enjoy sleeping with me ,and..if you think it not acceptable, try asking her for her opinion." Athan groaned.

"Is this true?"Mr Ethan questioned; furiously glaring at ivy. Whose gaze was fixed on the ground.

Ivy POV
"Ye...yes, I...I do sleep with him" I said and hope they don't get the wrong impression of the kind of sleep I was taking about.

"Good night sweedy"my mum said placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Goodnight son, both of you should have a goodnight sleep."She smiled glancing at Athan, who curved a smile on his face.

"Goodnight darling, have a good night sleep and leave the door open, I would check up on you"Mrs Ethan uttered.

"No need for that honey; Athan his there with her, just give them a little privacy"She said and walked Mr Ethan to his room.

"Good night brother in-law, I will save our chat for tomorrow"Naomi mused and gave him a tight hug and left, leaving Athan and Ivy in the sitting room. Ivy looked at him with teary eyes and ran to her room, leaving him all alone
In the leaving room.

Athan POV
I opened the door to her room and admire the simple view of it. It smells just like her.
"Why did you come here ?why...why did you have to include my family in your skeptic act.
Didn't I told you not to come after me,didn't I..." Her voice cut off as I place a finger on her lips.

"shhhhh, stop wailing kitten, few minute ago, you were quite gentle and calm as a silent guru.
Now that we are alone, you didn't hesitate to inflict your anger on me. hmmmmmm ,you interest me ivy." He smirked. Ivy couldn't help but stared at him, Ignoring every word he spoke."Your tears are my weakness, so please stop tearing up"he said, using his finger to wipe off her tears, which made her gasp in surprise.

"I told you, I won't leave you , till you are completely safe" He stroked a string of her hair behind her Ears.

She lowered her gaze down to his lips
Before blinking, he placed his lip on hers,
Slowly syncing with every move her lips makes.

He uncapped his lips from hers and stared at her beautiful eyes, and Wonder what made her special from other girls.
She stared at the necklace on her neck and look back at his eyes."This necklace, on my neck?"She  questioned with her eyes still fixed on his."It yours"he replied. "It my gift to you"e uttered without moving his gaze from hers.
