YSABELLE had already two glasses of red wine while staring at the two couple at the other table, Volts and Angelique. She gave way for the date of the two because Volts looked annoyed at her already. But it's not good for a beautiful woman like her to be alone but what can she do if the only man she wants to dine with.. is with another woman?

She sighed. That Angelique s one of a lucky girl, because the fact that she is not even on her fingertips that she'd known Volts but in just a year she immediately locked his heart. And she felt that Angelique knew her feelings for Vokts because according to sayings, women strongly feel something when they have rivals and she is also obvious because of her extra sweetness to Volts.

Well, Angelique and Volts look good together but sorry to say, Sab and Volts were perfectly made for each other and they complement each other too. She was very hungry but she completely lost her appetite, so she just ordered red wine. She was busy drinking when her phone rang — it was Zorick on the other line.

Zorick, the guy she had met a year ago. He is tall, dark and handsome and the young version of the Filipino actor Ian Veneracion but she couldn’t feel anything towards the man. They'd met when she bumped with his car because she was busy with her phone. He was so angry but when she got out of her car, his angry face turned into a smiling face

He took her calling card for the car settlement, but when he called her, his intention was not about the vehicle but a date in exchange for the repair of his vehicle. Of course she refused him because she didn't know him yet. But it seemed that his connection was strong when he found the location of the Main branch of her shop, which was in a Mall until he visit her every day and later confessed his true feelings for her. He is ready to woo her every day until she answered him with a yes. He has the same age as Volts.

She rejected him but he is really persistent, somehow she seemed to relate on his situation, and she was sorry because she said that she already love someone else. The man also met Volts when he once followed her.

She doesn't know what Zorick's job is and he does not want to tell her, but he said that he is a businessman though he looks more like a member of a mafia group.

She did not answer Zorick's call until she received a text message from him. The man said that he was in front of their mansion and waiting for her. And yes, it is not surprising that he already knew about her home address and has already met her dad.

She once thought of using Zorick to make Volts jealous but it still didn't work and she's very jealous because of his sweetness with that girl.

She shook her head and heaved a sigh, when she felt someone was staring at her, she quickly turned around and she caught Volts, she smiled at him and raised her wine glass but he quickly averted his gazes. She did not take her eyes off the two who seemed to be talking happily, when she got bored, she finally stood up from her seat and left two thousand pesos on the table.

She texted Volts and said goodbye but he didn't even read her text because he was too busy with his date. Although it hurts her and she still does not want to leave the place, she has no choice than hurt herself even more in the scenery she sees, yeah, she is a bit of a martyr but she is not that numb.

She finally left the resto. She was a little bit of drowsy with the red wine she drank, so she almost collided with the car in front of her but thank God she got home safe. She saw Zorick leaning on his car and usual, he was wearing an all black suit, so she really mistaken him for a member of a mafia group.

She immediately grabbed his attention, the big gate of their house automatically opened and went inside first and he followed by. When she got out of the car, Zorick quickly got out of his car, carrying a chicharon bucket and pizza that he knew was her favorite.

"I got worried about you because you didn't answer my call and texts, so I've waited for you. and even if you come home imlate, I'd still wait." he said.

"What if I'd come home the next year, would you still wait for me?" laughing and shaking her head.

"And you also don't need to chase after him because I am hurt for you," he retorted, referring to Volts. She didn't answer. "Do you really love him that much?" it's a serious question.

“Yes, he is the only one my heart can love and I know that no one can change that. I can’t see myself with another man, he is the only one I can see with me, forever. ” He also did not answer her and just stared at her intently. "I'm sorry, Zorick, you are a good man and you deserve a girl who would love you more and that's not me."

"It's really hard to compete with that man, I can do almost anything." he shook his head. "I just don't want to see you hurt because we both know that he already has a fiancée and he is about to get married—"

"I feel they are not really for each other, Zor,"

"But you don't look okay to me." He replied, she could not answer. "If only I could do anything just to ease the pain you're feeling."

"Get rid of that girl."

"Get rid of Angelique?"

She shook her head and rubbed her forehead. “Don’t mind me, I’m just blabbering on nonsense things. ”

“I am your friend; tell me anything just to keep your sadness away. I’ll do anything for you. ”

"Thank you Zorick but I'm really okay."

"Do you want me to teach that Volts a lesson?"

She shook her head and turned to the man. "I love him, don't you dare hurt him." She warned.

He raised his hand in surrender. "If I lose Angelique in your path, will you be okay?"

"Do you have super magic to do that?" she said laughing.

"I don't have any super magic but I have the powers to do that."

"Woah!" she laughed out loud.
