Alexia looked like she was going to faint any time soon.

" What? Are you sure she is the one?" She asked looking dumbfounded.

" Of course, she was the one I saw in the restroom some weeks ago, so I'm very sure it is her".

" ohhh my gosh, I need to go get Liam to see this". She said running towards Liam, leaving me to stand on my own.

" Wow". I exclaimed to myself " Right,I think it's time to feed my stomach".

I walked to the food table where different foods where displayed and scanned everything relating to chocolate and strawberry there. I finally settled for a chocolate cake with a strawberry at the top and was about to pick it up and devour it when I heard a familiar voice at my back.

"You're here Miss bells" I turned around to meet the eyes of Damien Knight leaning against the table with his arm folded across his chest.

"  Well it was not as if I had a choice".

Before he could change the topic , i quickly spoke up " I saw your fiancée" I said nodding my head towards Elizabeth who was still busy flirting with Ian.

Damien followed my gaze " She's not my fiancée and will never be".

" Uhh" I narrowed my eyes " She is , why are you denying her ".

Damien raised his eyebrown at me waiting for an explanation " Well I saw her at the executive meeting when she came to see you, then later I heard her in the restroom telling someone she was going to marry you" I glanced up at him expecting a reaction from him but he seemed unfazed.

" She's not my fiancée and will never be" Damien sighed and leaned in " And unlike you I don't derive joy in lying to people".

"So if she is not your fiancée, who could it be then" I said scoffing.

" Don't worry your little head, you will find out in a few hours".

He gave me that smug look of his and his stupid smirk which made me look at him suspiciously.

" Well it's better if you don't talk to me unless people will think I'm your fiancee" I grumbled.

Damien laughed throwing his head back with his eyes glinting with mischief.

" I know right" I said sarcastically "You find everything funny".

" See you in a few hours Miss bells"  He said with a smile on his face while walking away from me.

" Why would I want to see you again?" I asked him 

" Well that's for only me to know". As  I was about to give him a sarcastic answer he was already gone.

" Asshole" I cursed and looked around for my friends.i found them eavesdropping on Elizabeth and Ian conversation.

I quickly went up to them and dragged them away from there before they get caught. Alexia was always weird around hot guys and I have a very small capacity when it comes to handling embrassment.

After many boring presentations about the company and long speeches , the dance floor was open for everyone.

The celebrities and business tycoons were the first to get on the dance floor before the board of directors and the executives joined in. They did slow dancing which I found very cute and beautiful because of Chief and his wife who still looked like high school lovers.

The Dj was about to start hyping up the party, when Elizabeth decided to snatch the mix from him.

"Well it's finally happening" I said anticipating the disaster.

"Well shit is about to go down" Liam said.

With growing curiosity I moved away from my friends and went towards the front row to get a clear and full view of the drama that was about to happen.

I was most importantly interested in seeing Damien face when Elizabeth announces that she is his fiancée.

Haa he will not know what has hit him after this.

"Hi" she said testing the mic.

" Hello everyone" she said with a smile of mischief on her face" I want to announce something very important. I'm very sure it's what you all have been waiting for, Okay--" She suddenly stopped talking when her gaze feel on someone.

I turned to see the person when I saw Damien striding towards me with a smirk on his face.

Why the heck his he strolling towards me?, isn't he meant to be on the stage?".

Still in my thinking phase, I felt him wrapping his arm around my waist pulling me closer bringing me out of my daydreaming.

He then did the last thing I expected.

He kissed me.

At first it was just a chorus of gasps but then the flashing of cameras followed.

I saw every single detail because my eyes were wide open as Damien moved his mouth against mine while still pulling me closer, rendering me breathless.

Since I didn't show any sign of resistance Damien deepened the kiss making the crowd go crazy.

What the fuck is happening here?

Damien fucking Knighf just kissed me and is still kissing me.

I tried slamming my fist against his chest so that he could release me but the space between us was too small for me to even raise my hand. Failing to break apart, I made sure to harshly bit his lips which worked like magic making him immediately pull back.

" What the fuc..." I tried shouting at him before he cut me off.

"Hello" He put a hand around my waist pulling me closer and turned me to the media " I'm very excited to introduce my fiancée to you all, I present the lady of the night Miss Jessie Bells".

Loud cheers and applause erupted from the crowd around us. The guest started coming to congratulate us  while the press had their mics put asking endless questions that gave a hard time understanding.

I was still so shocked to do anything.

I slowly turned to find my friends and found the entire department staring at me in complete shock and bewilderment. But the looks on my friend's faces were the worst, the looks on their faces were priceless.

"How long have you been dating Mr Knight?" A press suddenly jumped in front of me blocking my view of my friends.

"What..." I said still finding this shocking and confusing.
