It's a Friday, 11:47pm, Rachel stares at her watch as she walks in the department store searching for a new inspiration for a recent assignment that PPB extended to them, if she was lucky enough and she cane up with a classic design.

She would watch her design being displayed in the boutique–a dream come true. Rachel puts her hand through the soft materials as she walks and hums slowly, airpods in her ear and her hair packed up in an awful way as usual.

And as she searches for that the touch, her head collided into something hard, but humane and she raises her head up immediately. Her eyes calms when she finds out it's Kyle, roaming through the departmental store like a kid, again.

"Careful there, you don't want to hurt my chest. His blue eyes glow brightly as he stares at the girl he like making fun of."

You don't say! Rachel says, killing every humor!

She decides to keep walking but he steps in front of her, blocking her way.

"What a way to talk to an exclusive member of this store, huh?" He says, walking closer and making her almost loose balance.

Kyle! Rachel is furious as she uses her knee to hit his legs.

Kyle stares at his knee after she gave her fight, he bursts into laughter, running his hands through his jet black hair. Rachel remains in her stance watching him laugh around like an absolute lunatic.

Minutes go by and this goof is still laughing, his head is on the shelf and he proceeds into a deeper phase of mirth, tears is slithering from his eyes and he can't just quit it.

Finally, he stands from the store tiles as he wipes his hands eyes and walks back to her.

"Was that supposed to hurt, little Rachel? Kyle says putting both of his hands on her shoulder, by doing this, the broadness of his height is about three and half feet compared to Rachel's."

Rachel stares back at him with her hazel eyes sinking into his sky blue ones.

"You're an idiot, goofy Kyle. She says throwing his hands away from her shoulder and adjusting her knitted tote bag."

Kyle, however, follows behind her as she fixes hands behind his back.

Rachel focuses on the materials once again as she touches it successively.

"Did a hen lay egg on your head? Kyle asks after minutes of silence."

Kyle! Rachel shrieks and he begins to run.

Rachel tosses her back on the floor and they begin run along the store. Kyle is fast cause of his long legs and Rachel is also fast because of her ability to pave way through tiny holes. This isn't the first time these two kids are running through the stores, it is a tradition they tend to see for years now and it only makes people smile seeing that these two teens were those two kids.

Kyle throws some pillows to create obstacles for Rachel and it works because at a point he shove it in her face and she falls backwards.

She rises and chases him into the furniture area, the place where he would always attack her, for years and years now–she never won. And when Rachel's recognizes this, she raises her hand in defeat.

"You got me, come out one goofy Kyle." She drags her cloth in and out trying to get some breeze in.

Kyle?! I'm leaving okay.

The moment she turns back to pretend to leave, a pillow lands on her head and her posture staggers, she bites her lip in anger.

"Little Rachel, don't be so feisty now." Rachel hears Kyle's voice and she releases her clenched fist hoping to catch him unaware–behaving like she has lost all her defenses.

She turns back to him and his face amuses her, but she doesn't want to laugh.

"You know you wanna laugh. Kyle says."

Rachel doesn't know how long she can keep her face neutral, she's looking at his face and she wants to laugh. The way his eyebrows had gone astray–it happens every time he ran and she wanted to use her saliva to calm it down.

"You know you wanna laugh. Kyle says again as she walks forward to Rachel."

"You are wrong." Rachel says, a finger goes into her mouth and Kyle staggers behind to run but he didn't calculate it enough, his steps fail and he fall into a large bed of the store.

Rachel jumps on top him, she sits on him and presses a finger on his brows and he shrieks as she puts two more fingers in her mouth and mess with him.

The both of them step out of the store together. The weather is bright and sunny, but they don't look like a part of it. Kyle's face is worn out, Rachel's hair truly looks like a bird laid eggs on it.

Kyle puts one hand over his head as he looks into the atmosphere while Rachel folds her hand realizing that she has to come up with anything for her assignment. She is confident though, there is still time and she is smart enough.

If she could come up with a design on a piece of a paper in fifteen minutes. Then, she could do better in three days as to when the assignment was needed.

Rachel and Kyle look at each other after thinking about whatever went on in their mind.

So, wanna go get ice cream? Kyle asks as he tucks his hands into his sweat pants staring into little Rachel's hazel eyes.
