Sacred Love : 19 

     The shining lights were making his skin look more Glossy.

His lips didn't even attempt to lift upwards.

His heart was aching and he already know the reason for it.

His eyes weren't focusing on anything but the alcohol as he chuckled leaning his head against the headboard of the couch.

He knew he's going to be in a big trouble if he doesn't attend the birthday party of his own friend's father

but he couldn't get the gut to look at her face again.

His heart wasn't in a control to Look at her face but not be closer to her.

Looking aside he could see their photo of their graduation.

But taking a personal picture with her , he can't help but smile at it.

The smile was broken as he broke into tears trying his best to not remember the words she wrote in that paper of diary.

I didn't knew a single paper could do so much.

His Breathy smile made the room go quiet.

"It's not your fault Zal it's not" he mumbled to himself as he took out the phone, dialing zal's number immediately.

The phone went ringing for few seconds before it was answered from the other side of the call.  

"Bài! Where the heck you are? It's going to be started soon!"

Zal's gentle voice yelled out as he kept the finger inside other ear trying to hear what bài was about to say.

"Za...zal.." Bài blinked feeling his eyes getting dizzy.

"I can't attend the Birthday party. I'm really sorry. I know there's some annou-"

"Can we meet?" Zal's breathy voice said out as he felt his heart beat raising with the tense.

He couldn't help but notice Bài's behaviour from last night.

"No" he stated as he sighed making zal gritt his teeth.

"What the fx!k is wrong with you , huh?" Bài didn't respond as Zal went on continuing.

"You literally went deep into the sea knowing you can't swim well saying you can't find the RING like are you serious!" Bài's blank stare towards nowhere hasn't moved.

The flashback was coming back to his mind as he felt his heart beat raising up.

Zal felt the nerve at the edge as he yelled out.

    "Now you're saying you can't attend the Party , why! What happened!"

Bài rubbed his face with his hand feeling his head spinning around.

"I'm just drunk, zal. Please understand. If you can't then DON'T!" He yelled at the end throwing the phone against the wall.

     feeling his heart beat raising as seconds goes by. His breath was getting normal.

He looked down feeling his hands clutching the couch.

Tears welling up in his eyes as he couldn't stop remembering the memories.

"I fxkced up!" He threw the drink class against the floor making it shutter everywhere.

His hands holding his hair as he cried loud feeling his breakdown was near at it's last peak.

The breath getting heave as he took the box opening it.

Taking out the pills, he gulped down the water after taking the pills.

A deep sigh then it took him few minutes to calm down.

But then his telephone started going off making him frown. 

Picking up the call , he kept it against his ear. "What-"

"Sir, it's Her."

Walking out while rubbing his temple, he looked around.

"Popo, where's Mr. Xin ?" All of a sudden he felt a smack against his head.

"Popo! Ah Seriously that hurts!"

"Ah really,  can't you just call dad or father something like that?" Zal rolled his eyes.

"C'mon , I'm just giving a respect" He smiled as Uncle just ignored him , looking around.

"Ah Wait here, I'll be back in a minute!" Uncle said said as he hurried somewhere while Zal chuckled.

Looking around, he checked if there's anything messy.

Smiling to himself, he looked at the front door unconsciously.

Then, his eyes froze. Her mom looked so much younger than usual as she elegantly held his father's arm as he walked down.

Both of them looked like a young couple which made Zal's eye disappear as his lips lift upward in a soft smile.

His heart melting at the sight but then, his eyes landed on Kira who was talking with the guests.

"Oh shit! I forgot"  

     "So? Oh really! Oh my god haha" Kira laughed softly as she kept her hand near mouth trying to be polite.

"I can't believe it happened like that-" her words were cut off in between as she felt that gaze against her back.

The same feeling whenever he looks at her.

Looking behind hesitantly , her eyes widened before she was dragged towards near Corner where there's less people.

"Zal-" his eyes looked behind into hers as she closed her mouth.

His smile was gentle as he took her towards the corner letting her go immediately.

"I'm sorry but I actually forgot to ask something-"

"M-me too!" She exclaimed as he let out a breathy smile.  

"I know , Kira. You already thought about this. Didn't you?"

Her eyes lit up as her heart started to beat fast.

Her hands in his as he caressed her knuckles with the tip of his fingers making her bit her lip looking away.

His eyes looking into hers as he bit his lip feeling nervousness filling up around.

"Zal... I thought you wouldn't understand", she looked up as her eyes held so much love in.

"Why wouldn't I? Kira it was about me...of course I knew" he said as his gaze softened immediately.

"I know you're trying hard for me" her eyes searched for his as she felt the warmth up to her cheeks as they flushed with red tint.

"Z-zal.." she breathed feeling her heart beating so fast she felt like fainting.

"Kira Let's do this. Why can't we. We have no choice anyway", she looked up frowning as she nervously laughed a little.

"What do you mean have no choice? I wanted-"

"Of course we have no choice than pretending like couple. Right?" Her face went pale as she felt him holding her shoulders.

That awkward words that left her lips awhile ago was getting back to her mind as she felt embarassed. 

    "And it'll be more believable since we're always close"

she hesitantly nodded as her eyes filled with tears immediately.

Her heart wasn't beating as fast as before but slower than the normal.

Her eyes blinking as she bit her lip feeling her heart slowly breaking as minutes go by.

"Kira?Kira.. Kira! Kira!" Her eyes blinked as he shook her by shaking her shoulders.

"Oh my god, you scared me" he laughed as she sighed before chuckling out.

"Oh yeah, what are you saying.." She asked as a breathy sigh left her lips.

"I'll announce that you're my girlfriend today in between the announcements Dad gonna hold"

her knees going weak as she nodded her head immediately.

"But.. how can we behave-" his thumb caressed her cheek as she looked into his eyes immediately.

His gentle gaze into her eyes sending shivers down her spine.

"Zal..." She felt herself getting dizzy by the way his gaze was so strong.

"Is this okay or.." his hand held her and intertwined his fingers with hers making her look at him softening.

"should I just hold your hand?" he looked up before frowning.

"Kira c'mon, are you daydreaming?" He asked biting his lip , looking around.

"Can we..." Her eyes landed on his lips as he still looked aside unfocused on what's happening around.

Her lips pressed on his cheek as his eyes froze before widening.  

    Her eyes opened slowly as she stood straight again.

His eyes turned towards her immediately as they are wide.

Her fingers picking her dress thread.

Why did I do that.. 

"I-i'm sorry-"

      "Wow! You're really good at this"

he laughed as he pat her head making her blush.

His eyes frowned at her strange behaviour as he bit his lip.

"Okay whatever, you can do it in between here and there. So they won't think we're acting!" He said as she nodded hesitantly.

"So... Let's start this , shall we?"
