He is not confident about so many things but to his cooking, he is a bit of a narcissist.Dale is fidgeting as he walks around the dining table.He doesn't know if he will sit down or not.He never dined on the table with his father.It's not like Lutes told him not to eat on the table. Lutes never eat in the house.So all the food in the fridge was for him.It is tacitly understood by Dale.Now his father cooked breakfast, of course he will eat it….So….Is he allowed to eat too?"Dale, get the plate. They found her a perfect husband.A gay distant cousin who needed money.They got married then never to meet again.The woman's parents died from illness leaving their property to her.She is still young but she worked hard for her baby's future.Dale was 8 when his mother died in a car accident.His relatives happily accepted Dale to their family but after they heard that they would only get a partial sum for taking care of Dale, they stopped all pretext and enslaved Dale. A concerned neighbor can't stop watching anymore and call the police.That is how Dale was taken to his father.Though Dale is not properly taken care of, Dale likes his father who didn't mistreat him or enslaved him.But when he started scolding his mother, calling her dirty names and even questioning her morality, Dale lost all love and care he had for his father.And he became twisted,starting from there.His kind and loving mother was ruthlessly called Slut and whore by the real Slut and Whore.And more dirty words.Dale cried without a sound on a nightly basis and he became gloomy and introverted.When his real father arrived, Dale saw his fraud father smile at him for the first time.He felt cold.Seeing his fraud father receiving money, he severed that small tie they have and walked away hating him.But his life in his new home is also not good.No.It's even worse.The house has an older son from the first marriage and there is a new madame from the second marriage and she is pregnant.He heard more insulting words and he was even hurt a couple times.His father gave him a lot of things and never let him get hungry but he never really cared about household matters and always handled the decision making in his wife.Dale finds only one friend, his sickly older brother.He is kind and sweet.But they didn't show their closeness in front of the second wife because she always wanted to tear them apart.The second wife has a son from her previous relationship but it is obvious that she loves him so dearly.After a few more years, she begs her husband to let him enter the house.He is the Male protagonist of the novel.And his understanding toward his mother and what she really does is way too different so when his mother bullied the first son and the second son, he thought he was being righteous and that he was just protecting his mother.Seeing how capable is the second wife's son, their father agreed to adopt him.And this sealed the future of the two real sons.-3-Lutes feels gloomy thinking of what will happen to Dale once he gets inside that house.Luxury life, but also a life of pain and sorrow and even death.He watches the troubled child in front of the dish manager and sighs.'He doesn't need to go there.'No, he refused.He finally had a son.They are not close yet but they can work that out.He is sorry for the first son to have nobody to comfort him.This is his son now."Dale, is it too heavy for you?"He asks.Dale turns around."No."He softly said."Okay. Then hurry so we can start eating."Dale eyes open wide."O-okay."He carried the two sets of plates and utensils more confidently.His little actions were seen by Lutes but he pretends he didn't notice.He helps him put the plates on the table and separates the utensils.He puts rice, egg, hotdog and ham on Dale's plate.It looks so packed that Dale looks silly smiling at the tower of food.Lutes smiles and taps his forehead.Dale looks startled.His wide eyes stare at Lutes cautiously as he rubs his forehead."Why are you smiling so silly? Go and eat."He said then he stood up.There is no fresh milk in the fridge but there is powdered milk.He praised the original Lutes.Maybe he did care a small bit about the child in the first years but later it just turned into a burden.He doesn't know and he doesn't want to care anymore.He can't ask the dead.He made him milk and adjusted the milk temperature so he won't be scalded.He went back with two mugs.One with coffee and one with milk.Dale is scared and also happy with his father's change of heart.But also scared that this is just temporary."Later, you go and take a bath. Dress nicely, we will go to the mall and buy you some more clothes."Today is Sunday.There is no class.He remembered in the novel that Dale only has limited clothes. Later he will check how many clothes he has.Lutes, the original Lutes, has money.He doesn't need to buy his own clothes because the matrons and guests gave it to him.He wore them at work to please them and make them more infatuated.For a gay, he does have what it takes to be a hearththrobe.Dale is eating slowly when he hears what his father said.The only thing that registered in his head is that they will be going out together.He doesn't care where they will go.He is really happy."Did you hear me?" Lutes asks."Yes D-Dad."Lutes heard the intimate call and became happy.He laughs."Good. Good. Eat more so you will grow bigger."Dale is scared with the sudden laugh.But he blushes seeing his father's grinning expression.He feels happy and his face becomes a bit hot so he looks down on the food to eat covering his shame."Don't eat like that. Sit up properly."Lutes said.Dale hurriedly corrected his posture.Lutes smiles satisfactorily."My son is very obedient."
