Swati's Pov

I left all hopes now and gave up on the situation ,I returned to my room and just slept.

Next day

The next day became more difficult for me as I was labelled as a nerd who can't fight their own battle and goes to principal for complaint like a kid.

"Hey look ,The kid is coming " one girl from v group said pointing at me.

They were standing in corridor and I was entering.

"C'mon ,Don't say anything,Dont you know she will run to principal and complaint against us,We are so scared" Vihan said mimicking and mocking at me.

Situation became worse so I just tried to avoid and I moved to my class without saying anything.

They kept passing comments entire day but I could not say anything in return.

I dint have the courage to fight against them so I chose to give up and just concentrate on my studies.

Day passed like this ,Then a guy named Varun entered into my life like an angel.

Varun was my classmate but we din't talk before , Suddenly He started taking interest in me.

He came to me and asked for friendship and I said yes because I was not having any friend.

Slowly we became good friends but V Group still kept bothering us.I thought Varun could have fought with them but unfortunately he is not coureogus either.

6 months passed. Our friendship converted into liking.We started hanging out together.

"You know Swati you are very special for me' Varun said to me while we were sitting in college canteen.

I too liked him so I was feeling shy and I couldn't say anything but my smile said everything.

"Do you like me ?" He asked with hope.

"Yeah Varun I also like you but I need time" I said shyly.

"Time ,For what?" He asked me surprised.

"You like me and I also like you Varun but I need to think once again before we start a relationship" I said clearly this time.

"What? What relationship ,I think you are taking me wrong,I like you but as a friend ,Not like a girlfriend ?" He said

"I like Alisha ,You are not my choice Swati,I like you as a friend only ,And you are my special friend , Nothing more " He said.

"Sorry I thought something else " I said hiding my face because my tears were ready to fall.

"Hey what happened ?" He said showing concern.

"Look at me Swati ,See I am sorry but I don't like you that way" He said sweetly.

"Let's go to class " I sais standing up .

I left without waiting for him to come .

I was not in mood to talk ,I was feeling like biggest fool on the earth.

His actions told me a different story ,I thought he also likes me the way I like him.

How can I be so wrong? I was so angry with myself. I straight away moved to my hostel but when I was running I bumped into Vihan.

"Hey ,Are you running in marathon?" He said mocking at me.

"Not today please,Spare me for god's sake" I said almost crying.

"What happened ?" Vihan asked concerned.

I ran away as I was damn upset about the Varun thing.
